Dear K37

Hi!
Notice that it is already 25th of August and according to my calculation, you only have less than a week to complete the 5 posts. The first topic that I would like you to share with your classmates is anything related to your interest, as long as it does not touch on any sensitive issue. Secondly, I would like you to also post your comments on 'Literature and its Importance'. While you are writing on it, perhaps you could do a bit of flashback of your secondary schools and texts used for literature classes. Remember to post on the topic generally and include your personal experience in literature classes.

The most story that I admire of is the phantom of the opera. This story is about a phantom named Erik try to get Christine Daae, the singer.Erik is cruel and ugly.Unfortunately,
Christine Daae fall in love with Raoul.
The importance of learning literature is to discover about the human past and to learn about other cultures.

Today in Malaysia, in which Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore merged in 1963, the term still remains pertinent in the present. It can be seen in the Malaysian national holiday of Hari Merdeka, commemorating Malaya's independence on 31 August 1957, and Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square) where the first ceremony raising the flag of Malaya was held following independence. Because Sabah and Sarawak gained their independence on 31 August 1963, Hari Merdeka is a significant date throughout Malaysia.

Tunku Abdul Rahman, the inaugural Malaysian Prime Minister, declared Malayan independence with seven shouts of "Merdeka"; the cry continues to be featured prominently in Malaysian Hari Merdeka celebrations.

Pipeline transport is the transportation of goods through a pipe. Most commonly, liquid and gases are sent, but pneumatic tubes that transport solid capsules using compressed air have also been used.

As for gases and liquids, any chemically stable substance can be sent through a pipeline. Therefore sewage, slurry, water, or even beer pipelines exist; but arguably the most valuable are those transporting oil and natural gas.

Dmitri Mendeleev first suggested using a pipe for transporting petroleum in 1863.

salam..From my point of view, literature is very important in our lives from several points of view. For example, reading is a means of gaining culture and enriching our knowledge in different areas of activity. It can help us have a great imagination and it makes things easier when
it comes to make compositions on different themes. It gives you the possibility to speak about science, even if you don’t work in this domain, or you can express your opinion about a political aspect, just because you have read something connected to that.

Secondly, literature offers us the possibility to enter the world of imagination, and to leave apart the real one for a couple of hours. We come to meet kings and queen, époques many years ago, dream in the world of the rich or imagine how life will be in the future. It gives us the possibility to be another character in the story we read, to judge it from our perspective, to imagine the ending of it.

salam ramadhan..When Justin Timberlake was asked what his favorite book was that he read this year, he answered, “You mean like a book?” Justin Timberlake may not be the most intellectual or intelligent man in the world, especially when in comparison to Hillaire Belloc, who’s dying wish was, “When I am dead, I hope it is said, ‘His sins were scarlet, but his books were read,’” but he is a representative of numerous teenagers. Sadly, literature does not hold the power it use to. Television and movies have help the decay of books as well as the imagination and creativity it delivers. It could partially be blamed on laziness as most teens would rather be told a story than have to labor to read one. That is not an expectable excuse however. Teenagers have to be reminded what qualities reading brings. Not only is it beneficial for one’s self as it helps increase grammar, spelling, vocabulary, etc., it expands minds by broadening horizons. Of all of the virtues literature offers, one of the most important and best is its educating values through historical references such as opinions, emotions, and beliefs. As You Like It by William Shakespeare has been able to create a different point of view on love that no other play has been able to recreate or double. Within the play, Shakespeare exploits the concept of how ridiculous and silly love is.I think thats all from me..

salam ramadhan..I would like to share a little bit about things that I couldn't live without..LAUGHING..We all know the importance of exercise to get our circulation going, strengthen our muscles and keep us mentally sharp, but what about the internal aerobics we should be doing, called laughter?

Laughing exercises all sorts of internal muscles and organs that nothing else reaches in quite the same way. The saying that "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine" is actually very true. Laughing reduces stress and helps us to feel better, and the heartier the laughing the better. There are even clinics that specialise in laugh therapy - one was featured on the evening news just the other night. Although the people look a little ridiculous, the idea is a good one.

Although laughing when depressed is very difficult, it's not impossible. However, an external trigger is required, so it's a good idea to watch a comedy show, read jokes or something else funny to get you to break into a laugh. This won't, of course, immediately clear your depression, but it does give you a period during which you can "forget" all your problems, giving the mind a little time gap in which to gather strength and resources to fight the depression.

When stressed at work and faced with lots of challenges and obstacles, it often helps to look at the funny side of dire situations, and have a laugh about it. This aids in shifting your perspective to give you a wider understanding of the problem, as often people get "tunnel vision" when crowded by problems.

When looking for humor to cheer you up, it is best to stick to clean humor, as the other kind just tends to remind you of various problems. This type of clean humor can be quite hard to find, as comedians tend to go below the belt to try and get cheap laughs. But it is the clever joke that can really get you laughing from the belly. And it's even better if nobody "get's hurt" by the humor. Humor doesn't have to be cruel to be funny. It's a lot harder to make up these jokes, and they are therefore harder to find, but they're out there.

If you can't find any jokes, go to the mirror and try to look as serious as you can. The look on your own face is usually enough to get one laughing!

Another good idea is to hang around other people that laugh a lot. I used to have an uncle that loved to laugh, and it always cheered me up to be around him, and I actually felt better for being in his company.

So try and have a good laugh! Let it bubble up and wobble your whole inside around.

It's good for you!!..thats all from me..

salam ramadhan..It's been a week we have fasting..But, did we know the benefits of fasting..Here are some of my opinions..Ramadan is a period of fasting, reflection, devotion, generosity and sacrifice observed by Muslims around the world. While major holidays of other faiths have largely become commercialized events, Ramadan retains its intense spiritual meaning.

The word "Ramadan" comes from the Arabic root word for "parched thirst" and "sun-baked ground." It is expressive of the hunger and thirst felt by those who spend the month in fasting. As opposed to other holidays, when people often indulge, Ramadan is by nature a time of sacrifice.

Through fasting, a Muslim experiences hunger and thirst, and sympathizes with those in the world who have little to eat every day.
Through increased devotion, Muslims feel closer to their Creator, and recognize that everything we have in this life is a blessing from Him.
Through increased charity, Muslims develop feelings of generosity and good-will toward others. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, "A man's wealth is never diminished by charity."
Through self-control, a Muslim practices good manners, good speech, and good habits.
Through changing routines, Muslims have a chance to establish more healthy lifestyle habits particularly with regards to diet and smoking.
Through family and community gatherings, Muslims strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, in their own communities and throughout the world.

Ramadan is a very special time for Muslims, but the feelings and lessons we experience should stay with us throughout the year..thats all from me..

Good evening,

Here, I would like to share the novel that I`ve read recently which is 1515 by Faisal Tehrani. This novel is about Malacca warrior named Nyemah Mulya. As for me, this novel is quite 'heavy' for teenagers. For those who like history, I would like to suggest this novel. In this novel, the writer try to tell us the actual story about what happen when Portugal try to conquer Malacca during 1511 that has been 'Deleted' from history. This also shows how Nyemah the warrior try to protect Malacca from being conqured by Portugal, which had been lead by Sir Alfonso Albuequeque on that time.Nyemah was also responsible to the death of Alfonso. She also had conquered portugal at 1515 for almost thirty years. But her successful for conquering Portugal never been told by historian. However, she and her husband was killed by portugese. From my opinion, this novel is different from the other novel that always been read by teenagers nowadays. For those who want to read something different from what they did, I would like suggest this novel.

'See Jane Score' was the first English novel that I read. This novel is writtem by Rachel Gibson and published by 'A Little Black Dress Book'. This novel is mostly about girl thing. I have a friend that admires these series of novels that published by 'A Little Book Dress'. She was the one that introduced me to this novels. She had a collection of the novels. 'See Jane Score' is about a writer or reporter that writing the scandalous column for her sexy alter ego, 'Honey Pie'.

But then, she lands a job reporting on ice-hockey team. It is a totally different job from her own job earlier. However, she try her best doing her job over there. There, she had being approached by a star palyer of the ice-hockey team that hate about ' Honey Pie' very much. So, there are many conflicts begin between Jane and the star player after that. However, it ends with happy ending.

The language used in this novel is not too tough for me to understand it. But sometimes I have to refer dictionary for certain meaning of words. When I read this novel, I realized that it helps me too much in my language and speaking. It helps me improved my vocab and grammer. Since that, I love to read English novel. Right now, I am trying to improved myself to use proper English while writing or speaking with the others. I guess that's all from me. Thank you.

Hello..

Usually, when we talk about literature, we always imagined that it is something bored, too many flowering words and can make us feel sleepy. However, for certain people likes William Shakespears, literature is part of his soul and life.

I have being introduced to the literature since I was a little junior in my high school. My first impression about literature is just same like the others. It is so boring and make me feel so sleepy when I read it. Day after day, I have changed and I totally enjoyed learn about literature especially when the lecturer make me interested about it.

In my opinion, literature give benefits to mankind especially in English. As a student, of course it gives many advantages and benefit us to use proper language.
By learning literature, we may widen our language, vocab and grammar. We also can learn how to determine or express the meaning of the flowering words used by the author or poet especially in poem.

From the poems or short stories that we learned, we may be exposed to the moral values and lessons that delivered by the author. Thus, we can learn something from them and apply them to our life. I guess that's all from me right now. Thank you.

On the previous comment that I had dropped, I gave my view about what is literature to me, how it benefits me and its important. Now, I would like to share a little bit about my experience while being a prop-girl for a drama feast in my high school.
This drama feast involved all form four students and we had been given a task to perform a drama that related to our literature lesson in our English class. There were students perform drama that pick up from the literature book, and dedicated the poems as well.

I,myself had been involved in perform a drama entitled ' The Drover's Wife '. I had given a task by the director of the drama to make all kind of props needed in the drama and sounds as well. The other students also had to performed drama that picked up from the short stories we had learned in the literature within English class.

Happily,we did it and managed to get first place. In my view as a student, our English lecturers tried to teach and make us understand the literature by organized this competition. And it is worked as their planned. For me, it is fun to learn literature and there are too many ways to learn it instead of read it. I guess that's all from me. See you guys in the next comments. Thank you.

salam ramadhan..its never to late:)..I would like to write about how fasting can help in retains our health...

As all we know, fasting has its advantages from the point of view of health and hygiene. Islam wants a Muslim to be healthy, clean, alert, agile and energetic. And physicians today acknowledge the many benefits of fasting that ensure health and the soundness of one's body and mind. Some of these positive points have a direct influence on psychology and physique of the fasting individual.

Fasting has been found to be an effective treatment for psychological and emotional disorders. It helps a person to firm up his will, cultivate and refine his taste and manners, strengthen his conviction of doing good, avoid controversy, petulance and rashness, which all contribute towards a sane and healthy personality. Besides nurturing resistance and ability to face hardships and endurance, fasting reflects on outward physical appearance by cutting out gluttony and getting rid of excess fat. The benefits of fasting on health do not stop there but are instrumental in alleviating a number of physical diseases, including those of the digestive systems, such as chronic stomachache, inflammation of the colon, liver diseases, indigestion, and conditions such as obesity, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, asthma, diphtheria and many other maladies.

Generally speaking, fasting hastens the destruction of the decaying tissues of the body by means of hunger, and then builds new tissues through nutrition. This is why some scientists suggest that fasting should be regarded as an effective means of restoring youthfulness and longevity. However, Islam exempts from fasting sick and old people whose health is bound to deter.

But fasting should have its regulations too, and not simply the in orderly skipping meals, that is bound to harm health and stamina, rather than improving them. Here again Islam provides the answer, and in order to realize the benefits of fasting, it recommends the late midnight meals called Sahar (before the formal start of a fast) and the breaking of the fast at the time prescribed. Of course, to ensure good health one should abstain from gluttony after breaking fast.

So,as a Muslim we should not ever skip fasting as it give us a thousand of advantages and benefits..Always wake up early for sahor..Let us think back how lucky we are to be born as Muslim..So,let us all think..that all from me..

It's me again. Day after day, time passed away. And if we noticed that we are going home next week for Hari Raya celebration. Of course we are too excited for it. As usual, as a student who lived far away from family and hometown, we are busy getting bus tickets and most probably there are who booked flight tickets to go home for this Hari Raya celebration. Usually, we often have problems to get tickets to go home as sometimes we will face with run out of tickets and know nothing to do with that.

However, our family at hometown are busy make preparations for Hari Raya celebration. They are busy baking cakes and biscuites. Go to tailor for baju kurung and baju melayu. Clean house and make new curtains. Replace the old furnitures with the new ones. It is so exciting and they are happily doing that.

But we as UMP students here are busy making preparation for our coming test before going home next week. Even though we busy studying here, I'm sure that our soul is not here but it is at our home. Together imagine that we are happy with our family make our own preparation for Hari Raya.

So, we have to be patient till the day we go home for Hari Raya celebration. As a muslim, it is necessary for us to celebrate Hari Raya after fasting for a whole Ramadhan month. Hopefully, this coming Syawal will bring us thousands of happiness and forgiveness. Together we celebrate it without forget the needy. Help them and one fine day we will be rewarded for the good we have done.
I guess that's all from me. Thank you.

Those words meant to take our brain to greatest depths in understanding how beautiful human mind is ( so, thanks to GOD, we're born with mind ! ).

I'll post some of my experience in this literature world later...see ya'!

Well, literature had so many knows associations towards its definition. Those associations may include arts, drawings, music, poetry and etc.Last night, I watched a film, entitled The Da Vinci Code which took me depth into Leonardo Da Vinci's life and his works.
Most of us are familiar with a potrait by the name Mona Lisa. I like to ask one question, in the potrait, Mona Lisa is smiling or expressing sadness? Keep the answer within yourself back then. But, do you realise that, Da Vinci also involved in other fields besides art? I supposed that you said no. For your information, he's involved in scientific studies, architecture, engineering, human anatomy and elements of mechanics ( mechanical engineering ). Quite a multi-tasker, wasn't he? So, I suggest you read more about him here :

ASSALAMUALAIKUM..
Here, i would like to share with you about 'Literature ang its Importance'. In my opinion, literature can offer an insight into social commentary and critique. We may know a lot of things in the novel such as characterization, plot and the themes. Besides, it gives us insight into who we were, who the authors saw us as becoming.
When I'm in secondary school(Form 5),I'm studying on The Pearl that written by John Steinback during in which he was at the height of fame. The Pearl explores the secrets of man's nature and the darkest depths of evil. It has a strong moral that one should be content with one's life and that greed invites misfortune.
My others opinion , literature is the foundation of who we were as people wherever we hailed from. In addition, ot does not only give us a broader aspect of viewing things, it also helps us to improve our reading and learnig skills.
From the other side, we could say that literature is almost like history, and we can learn about history and the general views of the time.
That's all from me..Thank you.

Hello
Today I would like to share with you all about "How to Avoid Acne"
Firstly, I want to describe about the acne.Acne is a skin condition characterized by what are often called pimples or zits.It can occur anywhere on the body and at any age, though it typically affects teenagers on the face and back.
There are some of ways to avoid acne:
1.Keep your face clean.Make it habit to wash your face at least three times a day
2.Keep your hair off your face. Hair has natural oils on its, even if it doesn't appear to be oily. When that oil comes into contact with your skin,it can cause an acne breakout
3.Eat a balanced diet. This is one of the easiest ways to avoid acne breakouts.
4.Drink plenty of water. Water is a great way to avoid acne, because it helps to detoxify your body, removing all the bacteria and waste that your body does not need. Acne begins on the inside of the body.
For more information about how to avoid the acne, you can find in this blog: AcneTeam.com

I wish that you all happy today. Now I want to share about the important thing in our life. That is our health. To make sure we always health,we need to balanced our diet.
So I like to talk about what is balanced diet.
A balanced Diet is No single food contains all the nutrients we need to help the body work properly. So we have to eat a variety of foods to get the right amount. There are several main types of food which if eaten in certain proportions will provide a 'balanced diet'
You must have carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals salts and fibre in the correct proportions. If there is not enough protein, you will not be able to grow properly and you will not be able to repair yourself i.e wounds will not heal properly. If you do not have enough energy containing foods you will feel very tired, you will not have enough energy. If you have too much energy containing foods you will become overweight. If you think that you are overweight you might try taking more exercise to "burn off" some of the excess food which you ate at you last meal
The benefits of a balanced diet is The average diet contains enough food for our energy requirements like enough calories. However not enough, or too much, of a particular nutrient, or a diet in the wrong proportions can lead to both short and long term health problems such as obesity or heart disease, and may in general shorten our overall life expectancy.

Hello everyone
Now,I want to talk about the literature and its is important
Firstly i want to share the meaning of literature.Literature is a term used to describe written or spoken material.Actually "literature" is used to describe anything from creative writing to more technical an professional, but the term is most commonly used to refer to works of the creative imagination, including works of poetry, drama, fiction, and nonfiction.
The important of literature are introduces us to new worlds of experience. We learn about books and literature; we enjoy the comedies and the tragedies of poems, stories, and plays; and we may even grow and evolve through our literary journey with books.
Besides that,we may discover meaning in literature by looking at what the author says and how he/she says it. We may interpret the author's message. In academic circles, this decoding of the text is often carried out through the use of literary theory, using a mythological, sociological, psychological, historical, or other approach.
furthermore, literature is important because it speaks to us, it is universal, and it affects us. Even when it is ugly, literature is beautiful.

Today, I would like to share my interest. My hobby is reading especially novel and newspaper. However not all types of novel that I like to read. I more prefer to read Thriller novel especially from local novelist, Ramlee Awang Mursyid. One of his novels that I think very interesting is ‘Ungu Karmila’. Ungu Karmila is about a mystery of a species of flower that have been created and known as Ungu karmila. The story was begun when a young man who was obsessed about flower try to created new species by combine roses with wild species. His trial became success when a new species was grown well and beautiful. However, a tragedy was happened when a murdered was occurring in a villa where the species was created. On the tragedy, the owner of the villa who was responsible to found that species was killed his own wife and maid. A few years later, certain people with different background was paid to investigate the truth behind the tragedy. While doing investigation, the murdering was happened when one by one of investigator members were killed. The villa also has been characterized as a mirror that was reflected sins that have done by those who entering it. For those who have read the other novel from this writer, we know that the novel that was written by Ramlee Awang Mursyid was based on logic and prove by scientific. At the end of the story, the mystery of the murdered that was happened was answered with connected with the species of flower. The flower actually was producing a poisonous bud, when people were being exposed with it, it will caused hallucination. That hallucination was caused a murdered in the villa. At he end of this story, the writers was answered an interesting questions which is “It eat to live, but never drink”. For those who want the answer, read if by your own self. The plot of this novel anti climax where the story was flatted. This novel also full of suspense and unpredictable. While reading this novel, I was keep thinking, how the writer get an idea to used a flower as a main subject in his novel.

Social networking…
Advantages VS Disadvantages
Nowadays there are lots of social network such as Friendster, tagged, facebook and so on. However, did this social network give an advantages or in contra? There are lots of advantages and disadvantages for this social network. One of the advantages that I found is or those who want to run a business, by using social networking, we can find lots of costumers by adding an advertisement in our page or account. These will safe a lot of budget compared by using manual.Besides, by social networking, we can meet a lot of people around the world. We also can share the different cultural with our networking friends. Not only sharing different cultural, we also can exchange opinion about certain issues related. By social network also, we can found our old friends that have been lose contact besides always keep in touch with them.

That definitely sounds enticing. However, what about the disadvantages though?Firstly, with this social networking, we will put anything about us in our profile such as our address and contact number, these will make we lack of anonymity. Just imagine if people know our private information, they could investigate us and know who we are. Sometimes the information that has given is definitely differing from actual and we may be cheated by them. This networking also sometimes contains porno and unhealthy social life. This social networking also sometimes will waste our time. Just imagine, every day we will spend at least half an hour to meet our networking friends online.
Whatever is it, it`s depend on us how to use this facilities either in good way or not. Once we understand the advantages and disadvantages of social networking, then we can cruise through without fail.

The quality of friends
Every people have their own preference when making a new friend. For me the most important is friends must feel comfortable when we are around. When we are comfortable with our friends, we are free to be like who we are. This means, we didn’t need to be others and hypocrites. They also will accept us like who we are, no matter either we are fat, thin, tall, or has weakness. Friendship is not because we need it and leave it when we don’t. It’s about willing to share anything either something good or opposite. A good friends will an always be with us all time no matter how we are. We should not only share a laugh, but also sadness. Friends must always lend an ear when they are there. Good friends also respect each other. Try to respect their principle and though. We also cannot push or influence our friends to be like who we are. Another quality of good friends is loyalty, don’t ever betray our friends. Loyalty comes from trustworthy. Trust is the important aspect to be a good friend. Without trust, a relationship didn’t work. Understanding is also one of the quality of a good friends, A good friend can tell if we happy or not happy without we saying a word. When we make mistakes, they can forgive us.
Some people said, friend like roses, it beautiful but get hurt when we touch. Other people said, friends like a cow, just follow what we said. Certain people think friends like Durians, although it’s smelly, but it has a good taste. As for me, no matter how friends were described either like roses, cow or durians, as long as they are my friends, they will be always my friends forever and ever because friendship will never ended.

Heart Not Mind

The mind plays a dominant role in our modern life and slowly fills up with the ambitions, ideas, hopes and expectations that eventually shape our lives. We superimpose upon the flowing stream of our life all the limiting impositions and plans of the mind, but often at the expense of our happiness. Learn to ‘feel’ your life’s direction rather than plan and change it; listen to the wisdom of the spiritual heart, not the cautious deliberations of the mind; and ‘see’ your way forward with intuition and instinct rather than create it with the mind’s limited intent. ‘Living in the heart’, a gift earned through spiritual practice and simplicity, recognises our life’s deeper purpose and gives us the courage to follow this. The heart knows how to be happy.

salam Ramadha..one week to go before holiday..horayyyy!!..Today I would like to share to all of you about ways to keep our fingernails clean..

As all we known, clean fingernails give a professional look and add beauty to women. Fingernails indicate personal hygiene of a person and cleaning fingernails can protect you from infections. Apart from getting manicures, you can keep your fingernails clean by following simple steps.

To keep your fingernails clean, you would have to wash them and trim them regularly. Following are the steps to keep your fingernails clean:

Clean underneath the nails. A lot of dirt can gather underneath your nails. To get rid of this, use a sharp nail cleaner which is available in your nail clipper. Carefully, remove the dirt from underneath your nails.

Scrub your nails with a small brush or a clean toothbrush with soap and water. Scrub around and underneath your nails to remove the dead skin and dirt. If you have nail polish, you can remove it with a nail polish remover.

Soak your nails in warm water for about 5 minutes. Now wash your hands and dry them.

Trim and moisturize, you can now trim your nails into the desired shape. Do apply moisturizer into your nails.

To keep your fingernails clean it is important to moisturize your nails before bedtime. It is very easy to neglect fingernails; however, cleaning them regularly makes your nails look clean and attractive.

It's simple right?..I hope you all will try to do it because a clean fingernails will ensure our hygiene..Do not ever try to practice nail biting especially for a girl because it will look awful..I have a sister that have this bad habit and she can't help her self to stop her bad habit..

So until now from me, enjoy reading my tips=]

Every 14 February, almost all people all around the world will celebrate Valentines Day, especially for young couple. Valentines Day was celebrated in order to appreciate the person that we love no matter girlfriends, friends or family by giving roses, cards or chocolate. However, did Islam approve Muslim to celebrate valentine Day? The Valentines Day was started in order to remember Saint Valentine. The story of St Valentine has two versions, Protestant and the Catholic one. Both versions agree upon Saint Valentine being a bishop who held secret marriage. I don’t want to tell about the detail because I`m sure all people knows about this popular celebration. For the conclusion, valentine day was celebrated in order to remember Saint Valentine who was fighting for his love (I guess). The main point here, did Muslim are allowed to celebrate it. In Islam, celebrating Valentines Day is “haram” which is forbidden. It is because; Islam is the religion of altruism, true love, and cooperation on that which is good and righteous. We implore Allah Almighty to gather us together under the umbrella of His All-encompassing Mercy, and to unite us together as one man. I can said that, sometimes expressing love are religiously acceptable and sometimes not. An acceptable expressing love is to the prophet Muhammad and the other messenger. It stands the reason that the love for Allah. Indeed, Islam give top priority on lobe to Allah and his messenger more than everything. By not allowing celebration of Valentines Day didn’t mean Islam not approve happy occasions that bring people close to each other. However, Islam goes against blindly imitating the West regarding a special occasion such as Valentine’s Day. Celebrating Valentines Day is an innovation or Bida`ah in Islam that has no religious backing. Islam also required Muslim to love each other for the whole year and not specific only at certain time or celebrations. As for me, those Muslim who celebrated valentines, it also same as non Muslim who celebrated Maulidur Rasul (Muhammad`s Birthday) on 12 Rabiul awal each year.

salam Ramadhan...I want to share to all of you about something that we seldom realize it that is combing our hair..Are we combing our hair or brushing our hair??..Neither me do not know whether I'm combing it or brushing it..Are we using the right techniques to take care our hair??

Here, I will give you all the differences between the two of them..

Brushing hair is more beneficial than combing since brushing stimulates the scalp and thereby promotes blood circulation. let us discuss some advantages and disadvantages of combing and brushing and leave it to you to decide what is best for your hair.

Brushing - Brushing hair with natural boar bristle brush is good for your hair, it removes any residue of hair products and also helps in an even distribution of the natural scalp oil. You can also use wooden bristles or plastic/nylon bristles, but ensure that the brush is of good quality to avoid tearing of hair. Brushing also provides a light massage to the scalp since the ball tips of the brush work on your scalp. It leaves a tingling sensation on your scalp for few seconds even after you are done brushing.

It is said to promote hair growth since the blood circulation improves and the follicles are activated. But do not over brush your hair, this can be harmful. The ideal time to be spent on brushing is approximately 2 minutes, anything more than that is stressful for your hair. The common myth about brushing hair a hundred times is actually dangerous for your hair, it can cause your hair to split and break. Hair brushing enhances the natural shine in hair, it also creates volume and bounce. It is important to choose the right hair brush.

Combing - Combing hair rigorously can cause hair fall, so keep the strokes gentle. Also excessive combing is harmful for your hair, do not comb your hair several times combing 2 to 3 times in a day is good enough. Do not use a fine toothed comb on wet hair, it will pull the hair and cause breakage. Always use a wide toothed comb to remove tangles and knots from your hair. Never buy a cheap comb because it is of poor quality and usually sharp.

Always keep your combs and brushes clean, to wash them soak it in warm water with a mild shampoo or soap for half an hour and then rinse it thoroughly. Cleaning is required at least once in a month.

So, have you all decided it yet whether to comb it or brush it..The answer is in your hand..That's all from me, enjoy reading =]..

salam Ramadhan...Obesity??..Did you know anything about obesity??..Are we belong on that group??..Obesity is one of the major health problems in the world today..Today I will share a little bit about obesity..

We as a teenagers have often drawn the attention of the nation because we are usually some of the most energetic people in the world. Lately this group has gained national attention because we have not been as energetic as our parents and grandparents were at their age..

Obesity among teens has grown, and much of this seems to be due to our more sedentary lifestyles. The average citizen can see that the problem of obesity among teens is real by reading newspapers and walking the streets, but neither the experts nor the general public have the solutions to the problem. Many experts attribute the problem to the sedentary lifestyle adapted by teens. Teens spend much of their time in front of their computers or watching television programs. The eating habits of teens have also contributed to the growing obesity among teens. Teenagers eat fast food that is more available than when their parents and grandparents were teenagers. Poor nutrition and the lack of activity seem to be the reason for the problem. The solutions remain to be determined..

Apart from the overeating, genes may also play a role in making someone obese. Obesity, whenever it is a genetic disorder, may run in families from one generation to another. Most of the parents who are obese think that it is quite normal for their teenage children to be obese for when they look around in their family; most of the members are far from being slim.

Programs should be offered to get teenagers away from their computers and television sets. There should be more sports and social activities that promote movement that teenagers enjoy. Dancing and tennis will both burn up calories much more quickly than watching television so these activities should be more readily available for teenagers..

So, as a teenager we should fight this problem and make sure we practice a healthy lifestyle..Hopefully this Ramadhan will help us in maintaining our body shape and remember, never ever over buying the food..

I think that's all from me..enjoy reading =]...

PETALING JAYA: There has been no increase in the prices of foodstuff and necessities following the price hike of RON95 fuel by five sen.

Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Zain Mohd Dom said the new price of RON95, which is RM1.80 per litre, was the same as the old price of RON97.

Since Sept 1, RON97 has been upgraded as a premium product and its price had increased from RM1.80 to RM2.05.

“About 90% to 95% of users will be using RON95, so there should be no reason for anyone to increase the prices of food items,” he said.

Some non-governmental organisations (NGOs) had claimed that the fuel increase had caused prices of other items to increase, but Mohd Zain said such a view was baseless and illogical.

“I get reports from our branches nationwide four times a day, and there has been no report of inflation due to the fuel hike,” he said.

He added that RON95 fuel contained a new additive, the EURO2, which made it more environmentally-friendly than RON97 without affecting its performance.

On the supply of sugar, Mohd Zain said there was ample supply, although some retailers in the rural areas might be out of stock.

“This is because some retailers have not paid the wholesalers, or because they only order a small amount, thus they run out of supply quickly,” he said.

actually, my opinion is that, our government is increasing our petrol price indirectly...

salam to all of you
Today, I want to share to all of you about the helicopter control.
Nowadays many people like to play with helicopter control and sometimes they make a competition.
Helicopter control is one of the hobby that’s need some extra cash to play with it. Based on community view, this hobby just for rich people but the true is this hobby basically needs someone who’s really interesting in this hobby so all people can play with it.
The people who play the helicopter can manipulate the helicopter flight controls in order to achieve controlled aerodynamic flight. At the same time the changes made to the flight controls are transmitted mechanically to the rotor, producing aerodynamic effects on the helicopter's rotor blades which allow the helicopter to be controlled. For tilting forward and back (pitch), or tilting sideways (roll), the angle of attack of the main rotor blades is altered cyclically during rotation, creating differing amounts of lift at different points in the cycle. For increasing or decreasing overall lift, the angle of attack for all blades is collectively altered by equal amounts at the same time resulting in ascents, descents, acceleration and deceleration.
A typical helicopter has three separate flight control inputs. These are the cyclic stick, the collective lever, and the anti-torque pedals. Depending on the complexity of the helicopter, the cyclic and collective may be linked together by a mixing unit, a mechanical or hydraulic device that combines the inputs from both and then sends along the input to the control surfaces to achieve the desired result. The manual throttle may also be considered a flight control because it is needed to maintain rotor RPM on smaller helicopters without governors.

STOP it! smoking just lead us to be wilder and sick. statistic show that every 20 minutes, a new junkie will appear. basically, pupils and students have more tendency to this case.this is due to their wild lifestyle among friends. they possessed to do anything as they are still fresh and know nothing. they just want to get enjoys and fun without thinking the risk confronts. many proactive steps needed to bring them back. Parents guidance and adult concern are needed a lot to help the government get controls with the problem. the adult is US!

assalamualaikum and hello to everyone...
I also want to share my idea about the topic of literature and it's imporatant. For my opinion, the important of literature are to give us the moral values so that the moral values can be use on our daily life.for example the story about Putera Gunung Tahan, thats story teach us how to protect our country from being colonize. when we read the story it will increase our patriotism. One more important of literature is make us more creative and have high imagination. Because when we read some of the story from literature book,we have to imagine the situation that happen in that story..so, for me, literature is important to us..
That's all. Thank you.

hello everyone
today i want to share my interest.
I like to watch people dance. No matter it is a traditinal dance, modern or free style dance. Why?
For me, to see people dance it is enjoyable. Sometimes i think how creative they are to set the fantastic choreography and steps.
I have a lot of video that shows about the dance.
From zapin,b-boy dance, shuffle, jawa dance and more else. People I have been ask by my friend to participate on the Kelab Kebudayaan when I was at The matriculation, but I objected. Because I don't have enough self confident to dance to about 2000 people. But because of my interest on the dance, whenever my friends practiced their dancing, I join them and watch them from behind. In my hometown, when they is ceremony there is zapin dance.
They is one ceremony in my hometown, the chieftain open house I invited by the master of ceremony to dance with the zapin dancer. for the first time, I rejected his invitation. But when my friends push me to the center of the stage, i have to. I feel so embarrassed on that time. However, after that I have been praise by the zapin dancer that I could dance. after that time, I never dance in public anymore. that's all that I want to share to everyone.

Chocolate: Myths VS facts

Chocolate is something that synonym with sweet, creamy and have a good taste. Most people love to eat chocolate, but several people especially women are very careful in order to eat chocolate, they will minimized the quantity of chocolate that they taken. This is because they believe several
myths about chocolate. Here are some common myths about chocolate; firstly chocolate is high in caffeine. The truth is it actually did not contain high caffeine because; the caffeine that contains in a cup of chocolate is approximately equal to a cup of decaffeinated coffee. Secondly, chocolate is rich with saturated fat and bad for cholesterol, but from the research chocolate doesn’t raise cholesterol level, in fact a bar of chocolate will increase good cholesterol level. We are wrong if we think chocolate doesn’t contain nutritional value, the fact is, chocolate is a good source magnesium, cooper, iron and zinc. Chocolate also contains antioxidant that also have found in tea. Antioxidant will help lower blood and improve insulin resistance. Besides, chocolate can cause cavity, the truth is chocolate alone not a main cause of cavity in fact cavity caused by bacteria in a mouth. Metabolize sugars and starches from any type of food to produce acid which cause cavity. Chocolate contains protein, calcium and phosphate that actually protect tooth enamel. Chocolate also got nothing to do with headaches. The research shows that chronic headaches thought to be caused by amines in food. This study was eliminating chocolate as the main causes of chronic headache. Research also was eliminating chocolate as a cause of acne but diet plays significant role in development of acne. The main factor why people ‘scared’ to take chocolate because they believe chocolate causes weight gain. An average chocolate bar contains 220 calories which is low enough to gain a weight. As long as it was taken moderately, it doesn’t affect our weight. For the conclusion, chocolate fact is not bad as it myths. We can enjoy eating chocolate as long as we didn’t take it too much. Don’t make the myths be a reason for us from enjoying the sweetness of chocolate.

Do you know??

Mineral water is water containing minerals or other dissolved substances that change its taste or give it therapeutic value.Salts, sulfur compounds, and gases are among the substances that can be dissolved in the water.Mineral water can often be effervescent. Mineral water can be prepared or can be obtained from naturally occurring mineral springs. In many places, mineral water is often used to mean carbonated water, which is usually carbonated mineral water, as opposed to tap water.

Traditionally mineral waters would be used or consumed at their source and such sites were referred to as spas, baths or wells.Often an active tourist centre would grow up around a mineral water site. Such tourist development resulted in spa towns and hydropathic hotels.

In modern times, it is far more common for mineral waters to be bottled at source for distributed consumption.

Selamat Hari raya??

Hari Raya Aidilfitri is also seen as Hari Raya Idul Fitri and Hari Raya Puasa, literally "Celebration Day of Fasting") is the Malay term for the Muslim festival of Eid ul-Fitr. Hari Raya is also known as Lebaran. Muslims in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore celebrate Eid like other Muslims throughout the world. The term "Hari Raya" literally means "Day of Celebration" — it is also occasionally used to refer to Eid ul-Adha in the form of "Hari Raya Aidiladha". The main greeting used by Muslims in Malaysia and Singapore is "Selamat Hari Raya" which means "Happy Eid" in Malay. Another greeting is "maaf zahir dan batin" which translates loosely to "I seek forgiveness (from you) physically and spiritually", for Hari Raya is a time to reconcile and renew relationships with others.

History of kebaya..

Kebaya is originated from Arab region. The Arabic word Kaba means clothing. The name of Kebaya as a particular clothing type was noted by the Portuguese when they landed in Indonesia. Kebaya is associated with a type of blouse worn by Indonesian women in 15th or 16th century.Kebaya is a traditional blouse-dress combination worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Singapore, and some parts of Cambodia. It sometimes made from sheer material and usually worn with a sarong or batik kain panjang, or other traditional woven garment such as ikat, songket with a colorful motif.

The kain-kebaya is the national costume of Indonesia, although it is more accurately endemic to Java, Sunda and Bali.

But,I does not like wear kebaya anymore.Ijust want to tell to others about it.

What is Malay shirt??

Baju Melayu is a traditional Malay outfit for men.It literally translates as 'Malay shirt' and consists of two main parts. The first being the baju(long sleeved shirt) itself which has a raised stiff collar known as the cekak musang collar. The second part is the trousers. The two parts are made out of the same type of fabric which is usually silk, cotton, or a mixture of polyester and cotton.A skirt-type adornment is also commonly worn with the Baju Melayu, which is either the "kain samping", made out of songket cloth or the kain sarung, made out of cotton or a polyester mix. Both are loops of fabric which are folded around the wearer's waist. A jet-black or dark coloured headgear called the songkok can also worn to complete the attire.
In Johor,Baju Melayu is worn differently. Here, the 'kain samping' is worn below the 'baju' rather than above it.
In wedding or official event,'Baju Melayu is worn with the 'kain samping' above it.Well,I said it is look more tidy and smart.

ambition????

Everybody has their own ambition especially students like me. Actually, in the beginning, I want to be a doctor. You know why? I want to become a doctor because doctors would be of service to the people. As we all know, our country lack doctors and specialists on medicine. I will treat each patients kindly. I’ll be responsible for their welfare until they heal completely. I treat all my patient evenly regardless of their nationality, rank and wealth. After a few years in the government hospital, I’ll open a clinic so that I can help even more people. For those who are poor, I’ll provide them with medicine without charging them. For me, doctor is a noble jobs because we can help people. But, now I’ve already changed my ambition to be an engineer. Become an engineer also would be service to the people but not all of the people realize on that. To be an engineer, I will be of service to the people and to my country. That is why I must study seriously starting from now and I pray to God to help me achieve my ambition. Insya-Allah..

My idea of an ideal house?
For me, my ideal house must meet several requirements. The first is location. It must be situated in an area which is quiet and peaceful. The reason is I cannot stand noise. Even the slightest noise drives me crazy. My family always carries out most of the activities and spends most of its time in the sitting room. We watch television, discuss things and read newspaper in the living room. So, I want the living room in my house to be very big. Without a very big garden, my house would not be an ideal one for me that love flowers and trees very much. A big garden will allow me to plant all sorts of flowers and trees in it. The trees will provide shade for my house and the flowers will add beauty to it. Playing badminton and tennis are my two favourite activities. To allow me ti carry out these activities, I will build a badminton court and a tennis court at my house. Then, I will invite friends to my house to play with me. There must be a swing in my ideal house. I have found out long ago that sitting in a swing helps me to relax.

thank you.

Music is very much a part of my life. I hear it on the radio and the television and most of the time I would relate music to entertainment. However, there are more uses than just providing entertainment. Music is said to be able to improve a learning situation. For example, many songs are used to help younger children to remember colours, numbers or days of the week. Listening to music may help me emotionally. If I was frightened, music can help me to be less fearless. In tense situations, music can help me feel more relaxed. So, it is not uncommon to find music played in hospitals and even in the operating theaters where doctors work to save lives.

5) Tests, quizzes and examinations are necessary for university students?
I think most university students in Malaysia would agree with me that tests, quizzes and examinations cause a lot of stress. However, we must not forget that these tests, quizzes and examinations are part and parcel of our education system. No matter how much we loathe them, we need then to assess how much we have learn and to evaluate our academic progress. Indeed that is the main reason why any test and quizzes are given, or any examinations are held. Through a series of test and examinations, the lecturers can gauge the academic ability of students. These quizzes, test and examinations are a good goal to aim for because nowadays, students face too many distractions. If there were no testing system at all, some students would laze a whole day! In addition, by examinations make studying more interesting and challenging. So, let’s enjoy those things!!!!!

anybody here love watching sitcoms?
I love watching sitcoms and my favourite is ‘Friends’. I think most television viewers are familiar with the show’s six main characters who lives in New York City. When the show starts, we hear the title song “I’ll Be There For You” which is a really catchy tune. Love and friendship are the themes of the sitcom. What makes this sitcom so appealing is the cast. The actors and actresses in the show are all very good-looking and talented. Of course, the fact that ‘Friends’ has many witty scriptwriters who gives the cast wonderfully clever lines to any helps a lot! The great chemistry all the players share with one another offscreen is evident onscreen, as they meet and chat in their coffee place called Central Park.

Why do students cheat? There are many reasons for cheating. While it is true the students is the one who chooses to cheat in an exam or an assignment, many people around him have to share some of the blame. One of the reasons is we can hear is, ‘There’s too much to study! I can’t remember everything!’ next, most students say that their parents are to be blamed too. Every parent wants his or her child to be the best he or she can be, but sometimes their expectations are too high. Filial children, aware of their parents’ sacrifices and not wanting to disappoint them, are under great pressure to perform and if they are really not up to it, they may be tempted to cheat. That’s why cheating also common among college and university students. They cite reasons such as they are short of time because they have part-time jobs and they fees are getting higher all the time. They are so stressed out that cheating seems to be the easy way out. So, we as a smart and excellent university students better think rationally whether should or not to cheat in exam. For me, cheating should not be accepted as the norm; rather, we should address the cause.

Being rather pessimistic, I would like to start off with my fears. My greatest fear in the next decade when I turn 24 is the fear of not successfully completing my degree. What if I failed miserably? My parents would be disappointed with me. What would i do if I were thus unable to support myself? Related to this is the fear of growing older and alone. I love being a teenager with lots of my friends like now. This is the time whem I can enjoy the best that life has to offer without worrying about working for a living, getting married and becoming parents, but without good qualifications, I would be condemned to a low-paying job. But enough of this gloom and doom! I must make sure that this sad scenario doesn’t occur. My greatest hope is that I complete my engineering degree with distinction. I realize that this calls for a lot of diligence and sacrifice but i am more than ready to meet this challenge. Also, in the next 10 years, I hope to change for the batter. Just as important is my hope that my parents will remain in good health. I certainly hope that no aches and pains which commonly plague those in their ages now.

Putting old people in old folks’ home is a very common practice nowadays. The reason most commonly given by the young is that they have no time to look after them. A lot of time is taken up by their careers or business and that that they have little time for these old people who constantly need attention. Actually, old people should not be dumped in old folks’ homes. We should keep them with us. That’s the only way we can repay the love they have shown to us all this time. We must realize that, since we were young, they spent a lot of time, energy and money looking after us. They did it out of love. If not, they could have thrown us out of their houses. So, we should not act in such an inhuman manner.

People should not talk bad about others because they themselves, also have faults, nobody. Everyone has fault. The only difference is whether the fault are serious ones or minor ones. Very often we criticize someone without knowing the actual reason for his behaviour. So, before we criticize anyone, we have to find out why the way he does. Nobody is perfect. No one is faultless. When we say that a certain person has a fault, we may be guilty of a worse one. We may say that someone is proud because he refuses to talk to many people but we, ourselves, may be guilty of gross arrogance because we consider others beneath our moral standing. So, the best policy is never to talk bad about others. We may do so only if we are faultless but we are not.

When I was in Form Two, I was constant worried I worried about everything every minute of everyday. I worried I would not do well in my studies. I worried that all my plans would go wrong. I was so pessimistic in my outlook and words that everyone avoided me. I knew that my obsession with worry was not doing me any good but could not find a way out of it. One day, I was browsing in a book shop when the cover of a book caught my intention. The title of the book was ‘How to Stop Worrying And Start Living’. It was the book I had been looking for! I paid for it willingly, even it was quite expensive. In the book, the author explained that worrying never did anybody any good but was only destructive. It could also lead to health problems such as cancer. Next, he said that 99% of our worries never come true. He asked his readers to count the number of times their worries ever came true such as whether they died when they sick or whether they lost their jobs because they had made a mistake. I thought and thought but could not find any one of my worries which had come true. That realization made me stop worrying almost immediately. Then, the author asked his readers to imagine the worst possible scenario, that is the thing which we have been worrying about really happens. He tells the readers that there is always a way out. After I had read the book, I stopped worrying so much. I became happier and more optimistic about life.

Like everybody else, I am not perfect. It is my dearest wish that I can correct my faults. The first thing is about my brutal honesty. I can never tall a lie, even harmless one. Sometimes, I will tell the truth and maybe it was hurtful. If an ugly woman asks me how she looks in a new dress, I will daringly answer,’Very ugly.’ If my friend asks me why I don’t visit him, I will answer honestly,’I don’t like your younger brother.’ One more thing for which I am hated is my argumentative nature. Telling me anything is like inviting me to start an argument. I will not even let the most insignificant remark pass without expressing my views on it. Once a guy said to me,’The sky is dark. It’s going to rain.’ That started me arguing. ‘The sky is not really dark,’ I said. ‘it is only greyish. You can still see patches of white here and there. It is also not 100% certain that it is going to rain. Considering that the clouds are only slightly gray, the probability of rain falling is only 45%.’ Although, the guy had long gone away in disgust, I was still arguing why the rain is unlikely to fall. So, to be a better person, I have to check my urge to argue about everything.

To her what is more important is knowledge and she works very hard to acquire Her love of knowledge is the first reason why I like her very much. She is truly a beauty with brains. I also like my best friend very much because of her kindness. She has never said anything bad about anyone. She usually praises others and if she knows a person has done something bad, she will keep quiet and never reveal the bad thing the person has done. She also a very modest person. Ar first, nobody knew her father is very rich. Everyday, she would walk to school together with those of us who go to school on foot. Then one day it rained very heavily and she had to come to school by car and it was not just any ordinary car. A Mercedes! Naturally, her curious classmates asked her to whom the Mercedes belonged. She said,’It belongs to a relative,’ later, we found out that the ‘relative’ was her father. It is because of all her good qualities that I decided to become best friends with her.

Names help us to identify people. Many names in fact have special meanings. Long ago, people were often given names that show where they lived. A man who lived by a hill may be called Mr Hill and the person who made bread was called Mr Baker. In the state of Pahang, a family decided to name the children after towns. One son was called Kwan Tan and another Ben Tong. Aside from getting names form places, people also like to form names to show certain qualities. A girl may be named Puteh because she is fair. Many people have nicknames or pet names as well. Sometimes the nickname is the shortened form of a name. The nickname “Ju” may be formed from Juliana. A pet name like “Baby” may be given if the person happens to be the youngest in the family.

Friends, the importance of literature in Hinduism. Literature in Sanskrit begins with the Vedas, and continues with the Sanskrit Epics of Iron Age India; the golden age of Classical Sanskrit literature dates to late Antiquity (roughly the 3rd to 8th centuries AD). Literary production saw a late bloom in the 11th century before declining after 1100 AD. There are contemporary efforts towards revival, with events like the "All-India Sanskrit Festival" (since 2002) holding composition contests. Given its extensive use in religious literature, primarily in Hinduism, and the fact that most modern Indian languages have been directly derived from or strongly influenced by Sanskrit, the language and its literature is of great importance in Indian culture akin that of Greek and Latin in European culture. That’s only a part of the contributions of the Vedas in Hinduism. A slight insight perhaps.

Moving on to the two main epics in Hinduism. Firstly, The Mahabharata. The Mahabharata (Great Bharata) is one of the largest poetic works in the world. While it is clearly a poetic epic, it contains large tracts of Hindu mythology, philosophy and religious tracts.Traditionally, authorship of the Mahabharata is attributed to the sage Vyasa. According to the Adi-parva of the Mahabharata (81, 101-102), the text was originally 8,800 verses when it was composed by Vyasa and was known as the Jaya (Victory), which later became 24,000 verses in the Bharata recited by Vaisampayana. The broad sweep of the story of the Mahabharata chronicles the story of the conflict between two families for control of Hastinapur, a city in Ancient India. The impact of the Mahabharata on India and Hinduism cannot be stressed enough. Having been molded by Indian culture, it has in turn molded the development of Indian culture. Thousands of later writers would draw freely from the story and sub-stories of the Mahabharata.

Okey, I first started to learn and read literature components when I was in form two. I love the Life’s A Brief Candle poem. It’s actually a simple poem but with loads of meaning. Literature isn’t that bad but literature class was damned boring. I usually read all those short stories and poems with passion until I get carried away. What do you think carried away means?? Sleep of course. I always get scolding from my teacher during the class but I do have to love literature because I have to answer questions regarding it in the exams. What to do?? In the exams the questions usually revolve around the same base, moral values, characteristics and summary. Moving on, actually literature did teach me several essentials in life. For example the Robinson Crusoe story. Fuh, do I have to mention all the moral values. I mean there are loads of them in that particular story. Well done to the writer. Finished for now.

Sonnet-18. What is this?? It’s actually a poem written by the great William Shakespeare. It is about expressing love to the one we love with all our heart. It became quite a popular poem in my secondary school because that’s the age where hormones trigger the brain to find someone as a partner and this is when the poem comes in handy. Some of the lines in the sonnet were used in love letters to capture the attention of those who are reading it. “shall I compare you to a summers day”, one of the famous line in the sonnet was in fact a famous line in love letters. Early teenage years were absolute fun, doing crazy things as hormones mingle in our bloodstream creating a teenager with emotion problems. I really love those schooling days. Life was just about school, friends and feelings, nothing else to worry about. Now, back to reality, plenty of things to worry about especially assignments like this. Just kidding. Good day folks.

Drug Use
The National Institute on Drug Abuse reported teenage drug use statistics from the ‘Monitoring the Future Study’ that they conducted. They found that 19.6% of 8th graders, 34.1% of 10th graders, and 47.4% of 12 graders used any illicit drug over their lifetime in 2008. These findings make it appear that the assumption of “not my kid,” a belief held by many, could be a huge minimization of the problem of drug use and teenagers today

Teen Alcohol Use
Teen alcohol statistics show nearly 30% of teens have experimented with or continue to drink alcohol. What can you do about teen alcohol use?Alcohol is the most commonly used psychoactive substance during adolescence. Its use is associated with motor vehicle accidents, injuries, and deaths; with problems in school and in the workplace; and with fighting, crime, and other serious consequences. Early onset of heavy drinking may be especially problematic, potentially increasing the likelihood of negative outcomes.

Teens and Dating
It is normal for a teen to be interested in dating.
While some teens tend to be interested in dating earlier than others, it is a normal adolescent life stage experience for all teenagers. Girls are more vocal about the dating interest and tend to be interested to a greater degree at a younger age, but boys are paying attention also. There is no way around it; the teenager is going to want to date.
Teenagers do not know how to date.
A teen does not learn how to date in the classroom and most likely has only picked up on some of the basics, like respecting someone’s personal space, at home. But they haven’t learned the ins and outs of a give and take relationship yet. They will be learning this as they date, and ‘on the job’ type of training.Do not be afraid to bring up these issues. Do not feel that they are not important. Teens that are taught values are important will look for dates with similar good values

Influenza A virus subtype H1N1
Influenza A (H1N1) virus is a subtype of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of influenza (flu) in humans. Some strains of H1N1 are endemic in humans and cause a small fraction of all influenza-like illness and a large fraction of all seasonal influenza. H1N1 strains caused roughly half of all human flu infections in 2006.[1] Other strains of H1N1 are endemic in pigs (swine influenza) and in birds (avian influenza).
In June 2009, World Health Organization declared that flu due to a new strain of swine-origin H1N1 was responsible for the 2009 flu pandemic. This strain is often called "swine flu" by the public media

Today, I would like to share with all of you about convertible car. My brother and I are very interest on this type of car. Actually, a convertible car is a type of automobile in which the roof can retract and fold away, converting it form an enclosed to an open-air vehicle. Convertible here does not mean the car can convert to anything as well as a robot like Transformers. For the roof, it was designed vary widely and were affixed to the body of the vehicle. Usually, the roofs was not detachable. For the second part of this type of car is the convertible side windows that have evolved from non-existing in the earliest models, to detachable side screens and manually power operated glass side windows. For me, all of the convertible cars are so smart for me.ahah! that’sall from me..

salam, did know about dengue fever..?Dengue fever is a disease caused by one of a number of viruses that are carried by mosquitoes. These mosquitoes then transmit the virus to humans. The virus that causes dengue fever is called an arbovirus, which stands for arthropod-borne virus. Mosquitoes are a type of arthropod. In a number of regions, mosquitoes carry this virus and are responsible for passing it along to humans. These regions include the Middle East, the far East, Africa, and the Caribbean Islands. In these locations, the dengue fever arbovirus is endemic, meaning that the virus naturally and consistently lives in that location. The disease only shows up in the United States sporadically.
In order to understand how dengue fever is transmitted, several terms need to be defined. The word "host" means an animal (including a human) that can be infected with a particular disease. The word "vector" means an organism that can carry a particular disease-causing agent (like a virus or bacteria) without actually developing the disease. The vector can then pass the virus or bacteria on to a new host.
Many of the common illnesses in the United States (including the common cold, many viral causes of diarrhea, and influenza or "flu") are spread because the viruses that cause these illness can be passed directly from person to person. However, dengue fever cannot be passed directly from one infected person to another. Instead, the virus responsible for dengue fever requires an intermediate vector, a mosquito, that carries the virus from one host to another. The mosquito that carries the arbovirus responsible for dengue fever is the same type of mosquito that can transmit other diseases, including yellow fever. This mosquito is called Aedes egypti. The most common victims are children younger than 10 years of age.

today i want to discuss about love. Do you believe in love at the first sight. In my opinion, if you search through love at first sight quotes, you will actually find that there are some which are very romantic while others are highly cynical.

For example, Leonardo DiCaprio was quoted as saying, “Love at first sight? I absolutely believe in it! You’ve got to keep faith. Who doesn’t like the idea that you could see someone tomorrow and she could be the love of your life? It’s very romantic.”

so,I always feel that when we are young, it is much easier to indulge in love at first sight and start a relationship without too much worries. I know of people who are in their 30’s and still single and they are finding it hard to fall in love. it’s kind of hard to just let your heart rules rather than your head.

I guess love at first sight is always a possibility, but it’s just that the older you get, the harder it is to act on those feelings.

Perhaps I should leave you with this quote:

“Love at first sight is possible, but it’s always a good idea to take a second look. ”

The Tuah Legend

Almost every Malaysian schoolchild would know the folk story of Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat. Hang Tuah is the most illustrious Malay hero in Melaka, leader of a closely-knit band of Melaka's finest warriors - Hang Kasturi, Hang Lekiu, Hang Lekir and Hang Jebat - a veritable Five Musketeers of Malay history. But Hang Tuah is slandered by his enemies and the Sultan unthinkingly orders him to be put to death. Fortunately for our hero, the wise Bendahara takes Hang Tuah into hiding. Hang Jebat, in anguish at the injustice done to his friend, goes in a rampage at the royal palace and the Sultan is forced to flee for his life. The Sultan laments that Hang Tuah wasa the only warrior who could ever defeat this traitor, upon which the bendahara saves the day by producing Hang Tuah before his royal person.

Hang Tuah is pardoned by the repentant Sultan and despatched to kill the traitor. Hang Jebat's joy at seeing his dearest friend brought to life turns to despair when his friend lunges at him with a kris, declaring his loyalty to the Sultan and hatred for traitors. In the ensuing clash, Hang Jebat is killed, still declaring his love for a dear friend, while Hang Tuah sadly laments to his dying friend that loyalty to Sultan and duty comes before everything.

salam..hye, now i want to share a lil bit about chocolate.
Chocolate and health may seem like an oxymoron. However, chocolate may be a lot better for your health than you ever thought. This may not be news to those of us who have been happily consuming chocolate all of our lives. Actually, for hundreds of years chocolate has been thought to be a healthful food.

There are some scientific reasons why chocolate makes us feel good and is good for us. To begin with, the main factors of sugar, fat, and carbohydrate provide a boost of energy. Then there is chocolate's seductive mouth feel, the result of cocoa butter, which melts at close to body temperature. Also, chocolate contains theobromine, caffeine, phenylethylamine (PEA), and anandamide that add to its appeal. These chemical substances have a profound effect on the brain and demonstrate that chocolate has a definite physiological effect on the body.

Theobromine and caffeine are both stimulants. Phenylethylamine is a chemical that our brain releases when we fall in love. It also acts as an anti-depressant by combining with dopamine that is naturally present in the brain.

Anandamide helps to stimulate and open synapses in the brain that allow "feel good" waves to transmit more easily. These are the same brain receptors that respond to the psychoactive ingredients in marijuana and hashish. But one would have to ingest more than twenty-five pounds of chocolate at one sitting to get "high" in the same way. Anandamide was discovered by a scientist in 1992. He named it after the Sanskrit word ananda, which means bliss.

hello everyone...
Now,let me tell you how to end a phone call with a talkative person..
Here's how to end it politely..

Steps :
1. Make sure you have a good reason to end the phone call.
2. Find a breaking point in the conversation. When there is a pause in the conversation, use this time to speak up. Be patient. Interrupting someone, growling, grunting, or sighing loudly is rude and may offend the person.
3. State a reason for ending the conversation so the person on the other line doesn't think you are just hanging up on them.
4. Apologize for having to end the conversation.
5. Plan a time where one of you can talk again, or say that you'd like to talk again sometime. Perhaps you can talk online with the person.
6. Pause for a brief response and then say goodbye before you hang up.
7. Here's some examples of good ways to quickly end a conversation:
* "I'm really sorry, but I have to go, it's dinner time. I'll call you tomorrow, OK? (pause) Bye!"
* "Sorry got to go, there's someone at the door, bye"
* "Oh my gosh! [Insert name of pet, younger sibling or child here!] Stop! You're going to kill yourself! Stop! Hold on!" [Hang up] If they call back later or something tell that the pet/ younger sibling/ child almost fell off the counter, or pulled a bookshelf down or something similar, but they ended up OK, despite some bruises and scrapes.
* "Hey, I'm going to have to let you go because I have to get off the phone."
* "Well I must be running up your bill, so I'll let you get on now, take care, bye"
8. Heres some examples specifically for mobiles(cells):
* "Oh, I've got to go, my battery/credits about to go, sorry, bye" This works especially well if you can make your phone beep first to sound like a battery/credit low warning.
* "Hello? [Pause] Helloooo? Are you still there? [Pause] I'm sorry, but all I can hear is a sort of fuzzy noise so I'm going to hang up, bye" This implies that the signal on your phone has gone and you can't hear them, remember to ignore everything they say and talk over them if you want to be convincing.
* Just hang up. As long as you hang up in the middle of your sentence rather than theirs, they'll assume you were cut off. You can always say you were going through a tunnel or your battery or credit run out.

Eat strawberries to improve cholesterol levels

According to a new study published in the October 2009 issue of Nutrition Journal, women with metabolic syndrome had reduced total cholesterol levels - including LDL - after a brief period of daily consumption of a strawberry-based beverage.

This news comes on the heels of recent research conducted by David J.A. Jenkins, MD, PhD, that showed antioxidant levels in strawberries can improve and maintain the effectiveness of cholesterol-lowering diets. Both of these recent studies concluded that the cholesterol lowering effects may be attributed to one or more of the following: antioxidants, fiber, or phytochemicals in strawberries.

The new study found that women with metabolic syndrome who consumed two cups of a beverage made with freeze-dried strawberry powder, twice a day for four weeks, showed a decrease in cholesterol levels. This is important because high cholesterol is known to be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in women with metabolic syndrome and contributes to CVD mortality in both women and men. Additionally, those same women showed an increase in ellagic acid, an antioxidant found in strawberries, during the four-week period, indicating that the phytochemicals in strawberries are easily absorbed.

Lead researcher, Arpita Basu, PhD, RD, Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University, was encouraged by the results and said, "In just four weeks, we saw a significant reduction in cholesterol among these women who had moderately elevated cholesterol levels. This is exciting news as we look closer at the potential of strawberries when it comes to disease prevention."

Overall, these types of studies continue to demonstrate a valid scientific reason for eating strawberries on a regular basis - not just for taste - but for health. California strawberries are a super fruit that can be easily incorporated into a healthy lifestyle since they are grown year-round and available in supermarkets across the country. And, as America's favorite fruit, they are an easy daily choice for people of all ages.

How To LOse a Boring Friend In 3days..

Steps :

1. Don't pretend to be very interested when you are talking. But don't act mean. Just make hints that you're bored.

2. Reduce the amount of conversation time with them every day. Sooner or later they will get your point and stop trying to talk to you. If you think they are boring, be boring too. Then they will try to get rid of you too, and you won't feel guilty.

3. Say you don't feel like it today if they ask you to hang out with them, or you're just not in the mood, or you're not allowed. If you continue this behavior, the person should eventually get the point.

4. Talk about another friend and how great they are. This should help the person to understand he or she is being replaced.

When I'm with my mom, I can totally just be myself. I can tell her anything and she'll totally understand. About my boyfriend and everything. It's like we have this bond or something.

We've had a lot of fun times together, but she's totally helped me through some really rough spots, too. When Azri and I broke up, she was the one who helped me see that I was way too good for him. That is why she is the greatest mom in the universe and also my best friend ever..

History of Tsunami Genesis

Fenomena yang dikenali sebagai tsunami ini merupakan sekumpulan ombak besar dan biasanya disebabkan oleh ketidakstabilan aktiviti di dalam laut. Phenomenon known as tsunami is a group of large waves and instability are often caused by activities in the sea. Apabila berlaku perubahan air laut yang secara tiba-tiba atau berlakunya pergerakan plat lautan yang turun naik disebabkan oleh gempa bumi maka terbentuklah tsunami yang terjadi akibat daripada desakan graviti. When the sea water changes the sudden occurrence or movement of the ocean plate fluctuations caused by the earthquake then develops the tsunami that occurred as a result of gravitational pressure. Ombak yang bergerak ini amat merbahaya dan boleh mengakibatkan kerosakan yang tidak terhingga apabila menghempas ke pantai. Waves that move is very dangerous and can cause damage that is not infinite when menghempas to the beach. Perkataan tsunami berasal dari perkataan Jepun yang bermaksud ombak pelabuhan. The word tsunami comes from the Japanese word meaning harbor wave. Pembentukan tsunami tidak berkaitan langsung dengan bidang astronomi- yang mana boleh dikaitkan dengan pergerakan planet, bulan dan matahari. Formation of the tsunami is not directly related to the field of astronomy-which can be associated with the movement of planets, moon and sun. Selain dari gempa bumi, tsunami juga disebabkan oleh letupan gunung berapi, tanah runtuh di bawah laut dan beberapa kejadian yang lain. Apart from the earthquake, the tsunami also caused by volcanic eruptions, landslides under the sea and several other incidents.

What is tsunami?

Tsunami is a Japanese word with the English translation, "harbor wave." The phenomenon we call tsunami is a series of large waves of extremely long wavelength and period usually generated by a violent, impulsive undersea disturbance or activity near the coast or in the ocean. When a sudden displacement of a large volume of water occurs, or if the sea floor is suddenly raised or dropped by an earthquake, big tsunami waves can be formed by forces of gravity. Earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, explosions, and even the impact of cosmic bodies, such as meteorites, can generate tsunamis. Tsunamis can savagely attack coastlines, causing devastating property damage and loss of life.

My best friend

Probably my best friend is one of my roommates in matriculation malacca. Her name is Rafidah and we have known each other since we were in the first year in matriculation. If I were to describe how she looks, I would say she is very pretty. She has short black hair, brown almond-shaped eyes, a small nose and a small pointed chin. She is not very tall but not short either and she is quite slim. She doesn't like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T-shirt or sweater.

It seems like she and I are always talking or laughing about something. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humor but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.

We are interested in many of the same hobbies. We both enjoy music and singing. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can't agree on which movie to see. Sometimes we just walk around, trying to find a new area of the city to explore. We both like traveling and surfing the internet. Sometimes during the holiday, I go with her and her family to their house which is located at Keratong 1,Pahang. We usually spend most of the day with laughing, change our story and go fishing.Whatever we're doing, it's always fun to be with her.

I know I can rely on her. Even when our lives get busy we still make time to see each other and we are now not at the same university but we are lucky that we complement each other so well and that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship will continue and be just as strong after we graduate from university.

salam,
This all about the beautiful of Taj Mahal..

Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world, and some Western historians have noted that its architectural beauty has never been surpassed. The Taj is the most beautiful monument built by the Mughals, the Muslim rulers of India. Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at dawn and sunset. The Taj seems to glow in the light of the full moon. On a foggy morning, the visitors experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from across the Jamuna river.

Taj Mahal was built by a Muslim, Emperor Shah Jahan (died 1666 C.E.) in the memory of his dear wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal at Agra, India. It is an "elegy in marble" or some say an expression of a "dream." Taj Mahal (meaning Crown Palace) is a Mausoleum that houses the grave of queen Mumtaz Mahal at the lower chamber. The grave of Shah Jahan was added to it later. The queen’s real name was Arjumand Banu. In the tradition of the Mughals, important ladies of the royal family were given another name at their marriage or at some other significant event in their lives, and that new name was commonly used by the public. Shah Jahan's real name was Shahab-ud-din, and he was known as Prince Khurram before ascending to the throne in 1628.

Taj Mahal was constructed over a period of twenty-two years, employing twenty thousand workers. It was completed in 1648 C.E. at a cost of 32 Million Rupees. The construction documents show that its master architect was Ustad ‘Isa, the renowned Islamic architect of his time. The documents contain names of those employed and the inventory of construction materials and their origin. Expert craftsmen from Delhi, Qannauj, Lahore, and Multan were employed. In addition, many renowned Muslim craftsmen from Baghdad, Shiraz and Bukhara worked on many specialized tasks.

The Taj stands on a raised, square platform (186 x 186 feet) with its four corners truncated, forming an unequal octagon. The architectural design uses the interlocking arabesque concept, in which each element stands on its own and perfectly integrates with the main structure. It uses the principles of self-replicating geometry and a symmetry of architectural elements.

Its central dome is fifty-eight feet in diameter and rises to a height of 213 feet. It is flanked by four subsidiary domed chambers. The four graceful, slender minarets are 162.5 feet each. The entire mausoleum (inside as well as outside) is decorated with inlaid design of flowers and calligraphy using precious gems such as agate and jasper. The main archways, chiseled with passages from the Holy Qur’an and the bold scroll work of flowery pattern, give a captivating charm to its beauty. The central domed chamber and four adjoining chambers include many walls and panels of Islamic decoration.

The mausoleum is a part of a vast complex comprising of a main gateway, an elaborate garden, a mosque (to the left), a guest house (to the right), and several other palatial buildings. The Taj is at the farthest end of this complex, with the river Jamuna behind it. The large garden contains four reflecting pools dividing it at the center. Each of these four sections is further subdivided into four sections and then each into yet another four sections. Like the Taj, the garden elements serve like Arabesque, standing on their own and also constituting the whole.

Why do we need carbohydrates? You should know that our nutrition must be based on consuming all types of nutrients, no matter if we are talking about carbohydrates, proteins or fats. But we must eat them in specific quantities, and we mustn't abuse of anyone of them because all supply our body with 100% of its energy.

Carbohydrates, proteins mean calories and calories means weight. 1 gram of carbohydrates or proteins have 4 calories and 1 gram of fat has 9 calories, that's why we mustn't use too much fat. Each nutrient has its own purpose and as I said already, we must eat them all for growing, while we maintain our daily activities.

A very important myth is that carbohydrates will make you fat, but you should already seen that fats make us fat because 1 gram of fat has 9 calories.

But why do we need carbohydrates? Because carbs are the main source of energy for our bodies and all the dietitians must tell people that we should consume more carbs than fats or proteins, and that is why most sports people eat meals with high carbohydrates.

So, don't look anymore for diets that tell you that carbohydrates are the main source of obesity and that's why you shouldn't eat them anymore. These diets are usually not very real because they lie from the start, and carbs aren't the main source for obesity.

Where can we find carbohydrates? The carbs are very concentrated in bread, pasta, rice and cereals in general, potatoes, porridge, oatmeal, cornflour.

As simplistic as it sounds, success is not a complex process. Regardless of how you define success there are three key factors that drive your success.

1. Have goals. Goals are essential to success. No one ever stumbles into success, without having a clear-cut goal. Develop a clear picture of where you want to go. Write it down and track it ruthlessly.
2. Do what you love. The Chinese philosopher Confucius, in 500 B.C., said, “Do what you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Jim Rohn says, “If you don’t like where you are, then change it! You’re not a tree.”
3. Be driven and determined. Any success you achieve is in direct proportion to your desire and determination. The more desire and determination you have, the greater your success.

AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.

An HIV-positive person receives an AIDS diagnosis after developing one of the CDC-defined AIDS indicator illnesses. An HIV-positive person can also receive an AIDS diagnosis on the basis of certain blood tests (CD4 counts) and may not have experienced any serious illnesses. A positive HIV test does not mean that a person has AIDS. A diagnosis of AIDS is made by a physician according to the CDC AIDS Case Definition.

Over time, infection with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) can weaken the immune system to the point that the system has difficulty fighting off certain infections. These types of infections are known as opportunistic infections. Many of the infections that cause problems or that can be life-threatening for people with AIDS are usually controlled by a healthy immune system. The immune system of a person with AIDS has weakened to the point that medical intervention may be necessary to prevent or treat serious illness.

How to Know if a Guy Likes You

There's no way to know for sure if a guy likes you unless you ask him. This is some steps to know the guy like u or not.

1. Examine his body language. If he likes you, you may see that he rarely turns his back to you, often leans towards you, and also looks at you a lot. If he slouches his shoulders when near you, he's romantic and cares about what you have to say. If he points his shoulders and pelvis towards you while sitting, he is definitely feeling something for you.

2.Notice his eye contact. If he likes you, he may either look away quickly if he is shy, or he'll try to catch your eye and hold it or make faces. This can be uncomfortable if you don't like him. If you feel like you have held eye contact just a fraction of a second longer than you would with anyone else, or if he looks away quickly, then there is something there. When he's around you and he says/does something funny and everyone around laughs, his eyes will flicker towards you for a second to see if you laughed, too.

3. Listen to what he's saying. If he likes you, and he's nervous, he'll probably start talking about himself. Many times, guys feel the need to prove themselves- especially if you talk about another guy in his company.

4. Be aware of touching. He might put his hand on your arm when he laughs, and won't move his leg if it happens to touch yours, or he may hug you for small things - all are good signs of a guy liking you, unless he's a bit of a "playboy" who flirts with a lot of girls. See if he uses any of the tricks in How to Touch a Girl, and see if he uses them more with you than with anyone else.

5.Watch his actions around other girls and see if he treats you differently. Some guys flirt with other girls to get your attention. It gives them a chance to see your reaction. It helps them know if you really do like them or not. The way you can tell that they are trying to make you jealous is that they find little times when they're flirting with the other girl to look at you. His eyes will flick over and look at you. Another sign is that when you leave, he stops flirting with the other girl. That will be a harder one to pick up on, but you can have a friend look for you or something like that. You have to be sneaky sometimes to find out if a guy likes you.

have you heard about ovari cyst??

Ovarian cysts are small fluid-filled sacs that develop in a woman's ovaries. Most cysts are harmless, but some may cause problems such as rupturing, bleeding, or pain; and surgery may be required to remove the cyst(s). It is important to understand how these cysts may form.

Women normally have two ovaries that store and release eggs. Each ovary is about the size of a walnut, and one ovary is located on each side of the uterus. One ovary produces one egg each month, and this process starts a woman's monthly menstrual cycle. The egg is enclosed in a sac called a follicle. An egg grows inside the ovary until estrogen (a hormone), signals the uterus to prepare itself for the egg. In turn, the uterus begins to thicken itself and prepare for pregnancy. This cycle occurs each month and usually ends when the egg is not fertilized. All contents of the uterus are then expelled if the egg is not fertilized. This is called a menstrual period.

In an ultrasound image, ovarian cysts resemble bubbles. The cyst contains only fluid and is surrounded by a very thin wall. This kind of cyst is also called a functional cyst, or simple cyst. If a follicle fails to rupture and release the egg, the fluid remains and can form a cyst in the ovary. This usually affects one of the ovaries. Small cysts (smaller than one-half inch) may be present in a normal ovary while follicles are being formed.

Ovarian cysts affect women of all ages. The vast majority of ovarian cysts are considered functional (or physiologic). In other words, they have nothing to do with disease. Most ovarian cysts are benign, meaning they are not cancerous, and many disappear on their own in a matter of weeks without treatment. Cysts occur most often during a woman's childbearing years.

Good morning to everyone. This time I would like to comment about self confident. "Build your self-confidence if you want to do well in life" so says Emmanuel Segui in his 'Ten Tips to Increase Your Self-Confidence' article.
What is self confident?
Self confidence is the difference between feeling unstoppable and feeling scared out of your wits. Your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others perceive you. Self-confidence is an important key to success in any walk of life. People with self-confidence are noticed more. They achieve their goals relatively easily. In contrast, people who lack self-confidence often end up being losers. You too need to build your self-confidence if you want to do well in life.

1. Self-confidence is found in people who have healthy self-esteem. They know their personal worth and act accordingly. A good way to improve your personal worth is to make a list of your accomplishments every day. You will be surprised to know how many positive acts you perform every day in life, but which you don't notice. Once you start looking at this list, your self-confidence will boom.
2. Be clear about your goals. If need be, break your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. Pat yourself every time you achieve a minor goal. It will boost your self-confidence, and help you achieve bigger goals.
3. Find a mentor who can help you reach your goal. Most people, who have done well in life, have a mentor who has traveled the same road on which they are traveling today. Meet your mentor regularly, and seek his advice and support as a routine. You will find that you are learning something valuable every day.
4. Socialize with people who are positive and supportive, who like and respect you. Give them the same support and respect that they give you. Avoid people who are negative and critical of you. Such people erode your self-confidence. They make you look at your negative self, and not your positive self. After some time, you get enveloped in their cynical and negative world-view. Nothing can be more damaging than that. Dump such friends as soon as you can.
5. Pay attention to how you look. Take pleasure in wearing good clothes and being well groomed. It makes you feel good. People too look at you differently. Remember that every human being wants to be found in the company of smart, intelligent, successful people. You can soon be a centre of attraction if you radiate a positive, smart look. It can very easily make the difference between success and failure.
6. Don't be afraid of failures. Take them in your stride and move on. Say to yourself that you will succeed the next time. Never make the mistake of allowing your failures to overwhelm you. They will force you into a shell, and destroy your self-confidence. A better way is to shrug your failures as something inconsequential, and take on a new challenge. Of course, you must learn from your mistakes, and be realistic about your abilities. People who try to over-reach often fall down. You should not allow that to happen in the name of self-confidence.
7. Keep yourself fit by exercising regularly and controlling your diet. A fit and healthy person is much more active and achieves more in his career. Physical fitness, like self-confidence, glows on your face.
8. Have a wide range of interests, and take an active interest in what's going on in the world. Meet and talk to a lot of people. Don't focus all your attention only on your work and on your problems. Divert your attention to new interests, and new tasks. This will keep your mind happily occupied, and boost your self-confidence.
9. Take part in activities that you are good at. You may have excelled at things in the past and then given them up due to lack of time. Return to those activities again and see your self-confidence grow.
10. Pick up a new hobby or craft that interests you. It will keep you occupied.

Thank you.

Do you know about the advantage of the fuit and vegetable?
There Green Foods – broccoli, kale, leaf and romaine lettuce, spinach, cabbage and Brussels sprouts.

Green foods are especially good for the circulatory system. They contain many minerals and B-complex vitamins. Some phytochemicals found in green foods are sulforaphane and indoles that are very powerful anti-cancer compounds. Researchers have tried to use these as isolated phytochemicals but find that they only work while in the whole food form.

Red Foods – tomatoes, watermelon, red cabbage.

Red foods contain many phytochemicals that reduce free radical damage. The phytochemical called lycopene is especially helpful to prevent prostate problems, and reduce the effects of sun damage on the skin. Lycopene is the phytochemical that make the red foods get their red color.

Orange Foods – carrots, pumpkin, squash, sweet potatoes, apricots, cantaloupe.

The orange foods have the carotenoids the help prevent cancer by repairing the DNA. As our mothers told us, carrots, and other orange foods, are especially good for our eyes, and help with night vision. The deep orange foods help our bodies get the vitamin A we need, without getting excess that can lead to osteoporosis.

Green/Yellow Foods – yellow corn, green peas, collard greens, avocado and honeydew melon.

This combination of green and yellow foods contains the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin that help reduce the risk of developing cataracts and macular degeneration. These foods are also helpful in reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

Orange /Yellow Foods – oranges, pineapple, tangerines, peaches, papaya, nectarines

These foods that are orange and yellow in color are high in antioxidants, especially Vitamin C, and help to improve the health of the mucus membranes and connective tissue. They help prevent heart disease by improving circulation and preventing inflammation.

White/Green Foods – onions, garlic, celery, pears, chives

White and green combination foods contain a variety of phytochemicals. Garlic and onions contain allicin, the anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal phytochemical, and they can act as a poor man’s antibiotic. Add garlic and onions in your meals to reduce the effects of potential toxicity of high fat meats. Celery has many minerals, especially organic sodium, that keeps the fluid in the joints healthy.

Red/Blue/Purple Foods – red apples, beets, blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, prunes, concord grapes, blackberries.

These dark colored red/blue/purple foods are very rich in powerful antioxidants called anthocyanins that protect again heart disease by improving circulation and preventing blood clots. They have many anti-aging phytochemicals that keep the blood circulating reducing the effects of the Standard American Diet rich in trans fats and processed foods.

Nowadays to fulfill our need in order for us to feel cormfortable in the house, office or class, we had installed an air cond to cooled the temperature. But there is a lot of disadvantage and a few advantage of air conditioning. Air conditioning is the system that can really cool our surroundings and atmosphere. Air conditioners can really change the weather of the rooms in no time. They can create an atmosphere in which we can really feel comfortable and relax. Air conditioners has become very popular and a very hot product in the electric markets all around the world. Air conditioning is very helpful in the hot season, because it provides us with cool and fresh air. We not only see at the advantages of air conditioners or air conditioning, but also look at the disadvantages. Air conditioning has also some disadvantages in it. Every air conditioning unit has some of disadvantages in it.

The window mounted air conditioners are designed to fit in a wall. These units are not big and these can be easily installed in the windows. The advantages of these air conditioners are that, these can adjust each roomfs temperature and these can be easily removed and stored at the end of the season. The disadvantages are that, these units really eliminate the outside view from the window and these should be quickly removed when the winter or cooler weather arrives. Wall mounted units is another choice in the hot season. The advantages of these units are that window is not blocked and you have no need to remove in the cooler weather. The disadvantages are that these are not easy to install. It is very difficult to hide these units in the winter. The free standing portable units have their own advantages. These can be easily moved in the homes and no mounting and installation is required. They cost more than the window mounted units and this is the only main disadvantage of these units. There are so many other types of air conditioning units to avail, but almost every of them have their advantages, as well as the disadvantages

Everyday we listen to music. But do we know the advantage to listening to music?
Good music is calming and makes you comfortable, which is great for relaxation, study or reading.

Commercial music stations with shouting announcers and hyperactive commercials have the opposite effect.

When you're feeling more lively, favourite CDs are good, and keep you upbeat, whatever the type of music

Recently the university's student must have a laptop.Advantages
Portability: The number one reason why people buy laptops is because they can take it anywhere. If you constantly have to go on trips, a laptop will be very useful. Your own laptop will have all your e-mail, software’s, presentations, sales material etc. You can store all of this and much more information that you constantly need, on your laptop without any problems.

Size and Weight: Laptops are compact. The single laptop contains, your monitor, CPU, speakers, keyboard, mouse and everything else a normal computer contains. If you do not have place at home or have little space on your office desk. If your situation is such that you do not have space to accommodate another computer, then it would be good to go in for laptop.

Un-interrupted power supply: In India, once in a while the electricity still does fail. A laptop is kind of a desktop computer and a in-built UPS. It can be charged with battery and it will stay on so long as the battery has charge. So, if you act wisely, and keep your laptop charged, you will never have the problem on not being able to work on your laptop because the lights have gone.

Image: Firstly, laptops are cool! But that not a good enough reason. A laptop also gives credibility. If you go for a presentation with your laptop, then that gives a good impression to the other party. So, if you are trying to convince people that you are a big player and it is worth dealing with you, presentations given on laptops might help you a little.

Disadvantages
Technology: Because a laptop is pretty compact, some of the recent technology that's been developed for desktops has yet to be made into thinner and smaller forms and successfully fitted into laptops. So laptops are always a step behind desktops when it comes to capability and efficiency. However, the laptop market is growing and this situation is fast changing.

Comfort: You will have to get used to using a mouse pad instead of a mouse. Your keyboard and your monitor are connected, so when you type your face will close to the monitor. You will not get “sub-woofer” quality sound, unless you externally connect your laptop to a sub-woofer.

Upgrading (forget about it): If you're planning on adding stuff onto your computer, get yourself a desktop and not a laptop. Upgrading a laptop is not impossible. But, anybody who knows anything about computers will tell you that it's impractical to purchase a laptop with the intention of upgrading it. It's often impossible to add stuff like RAM and hard drives without sending the entire piece back to the manufacturer. Even if you do decide to upgrade, you are limited in the selection of extra equipment; most laptops require you to install parts manufactured by the same company.

So, after understanding the advantages and disadvantages, what say, is the laptop for you?

Today I would like to talk about philosophy and its importance to human life. Philosophy is a study that seeks to understand the mysteries of existence and reality. It tries to discover the nature of truth and knowledge and to find what is of basic value and importance in life. It also examines the relationships between humanity and nature and between the individual and society. Philosophy arises out of wonder, curiosity, and the desire to know and understand. Philosophy is thus a form of inquiry a process of analysis, criticism, interpretation, and speculation.
The term philosophy cannot be defined precisely because the subject is so complex and so controversial. Different philosophers have different views of the nature, methods, and range of philosophy.
The importance of philosophy is thought an inescapable part of human existence. Almost everyone has been puzzled from time to time by such essentially philosophic questions as "What does life mean?" "Did I have any existence before I was born?" and "Is there life after death?" Most people also have some kind of philosophy in the sense of a personal outlook on life. Even a person who claims that considering philosophic questions is a waste of time is expressing what is important, worthwhile, or valuable.
By studying the philosophy, people can clarify what they believe, and they can be stimulated to think about final questions. A person can study philosophers of the past to discover why they thought as they did and what value their thoughts may have in one's own life.
Philosophy has had large influence on our everyday lives. The various languages we speak uses classifications derived from philosophy. Every institution of society is based on philosophic ideas, whether that institution is the law, government, religion, the family, marriage, industry, business, or education. Philosophic differences have led to the overthrow of governments, drastic changes in laws, and the transformation of entire economic systems. Such changes have occurred because the people involved held certain beliefs about what is important, true, real, and significant and about how life should be ordered.
That’s all from me,

Today I would like to talk about friend.I think it is very important to have at least one real friend. You know there's some stuff that you can't talk to family about like maybe you're having an issue with a family member and you don't want to go to another family member for advice because you don't want them to have to choose or you don't want them to get involved. Well if you have a real friend that you can talk to you just go up to them and be like "Ok, I'm having this problem with this person what should I do?"Some people make friends easily. Sometimes only after the first time you met them you can call them your friend but there is a difference between a real friend and just a friend. A real friend will never stab you in the back or talk crap about you but a friend is just someone you enjoy talking to.
There may be a time when we are in a particularly bad mood and we don't feel like seeing friends, but if they were to be taken away permanently then we would certainly notice a change in our lives and we'd be pretty miserable. Friends make life fun and interesting and they also provide support and advice when we need it. Receiving support and help from a friend gives us confidence and makes us feel like we have someone there for us, and we do the same for them in return, because we value them and want them to feel like we care about them.

Thats all.

Do you know what is star? A star is a massive, luminous ball of plasma that is held together by gravity. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun, which is the source of most of the energy on Earth. Other stars are visible in the night sky, when they are not outshone by the Sun. Historically, the most prominent stars on the celestial sphere were grouped together into constellations, and the brightest stars gained proper names. Extensive catalogues of stars have been assembled by astronomers, which provide standardized star designations.
For most of its life, a star shines due to thermonuclear fusion in its core releasing energy that traverses the star's interior and then radiates into outer space. Almost all elements heavier than hydrogen and helium were created by fusion processes in stars. Astronomers can determine the mass, age, chemical composition and many other properties of a star by observing its spectrum, luminosity and motion through space. A star begins as a collapsing cloud of material composed primarily of hydrogen, along with helium and trace amounts of heavier elements. Once the stellar core is sufficiently dense, some of the hydrogen is steadily converted into helium through the process of nuclear fusion. The remainder of the star's interior carries energy away from the core through a combination of radiative and convective processes. The star's internal pressure prevents it from collapsing further under its own gravity. Once the hydrogen fuel at the core is exhausted, those stars having at least 0.4 times the mass of the Sun expand to become a red giant, in some cases fusing heavier elements at the core or in shells around the core. The star then evolves into a degenerate form, recycling a portion of the matter into the interstellar environment, where it will form a new generation of stars with a higher proportion of heavy elements.
Thats all.

A black hole is a region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, not even light, can escape. The black hole has a one-way surface, called an event horizon, into which objects can fall, but out of which nothing can come. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits it, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black-body in thermodynamics. Quantum analysis of black holes shows them to possess a temperature and Hawking radiation.Despite its invisible interior, a black hole can reveal its presence through interaction with other matter. A black hole can be inferred by tracking the movement of a group of stars that orbit a region in space which looks empty. Alternatively, one can see gas falling into a relatively small black hole, from a companion star. This gas spirals inward, heating up to very high temperatures and emitting large amounts of radiation that can be detected from earthbound and earth-orbiting telescopes. Such observations have resulted in the scientific consensus that, barring a breakdown in our understanding of nature, black holes exist in our universe.
Thats all.

All country have their own flag.We also has our own flag.I am sure you know our flag which we call it “Jalur Gemilang”.But,did you know who was its designer? The Malayan flag was designed by Mohamed Hamzah, a 29-year-old architect working for the Public Works Department (JKR) in Johor Bahru, Johor. He entered the Malayan flag design competition in 1947 with two designs which he completed within two weeks. The first design was a green flag with blue kris in the middle, surrounded by 15 white stars. The second design, which was among the three finalists, was similar to the current flag but with a five-pointed star. It heavily borrows it design from the American flag, from the red and white stripes, to the idea of the stars representing districts; even the same colors, except the yellow colored star. The competition attracted 373 entries and voting was made by the general public via post. Malayan senior statesman Dato' Onn Jaafar met with Mohamed Hamzah after he won the competition and suggested that the star be changed to an 11-pointed one to represent all the Malayan states. Mohamed Hamzah died just short of his 75th birthday on 13 February 1993 in Jalan Stulang Baru, Kampung Melayu Majidee, Johor

Time is running . But my posting still much more to do.Huhu..When talking about the time, its related to the clock..What is clock actually? A clock is an instrument used to indicate, measure, keep, and co-ordinate time. The word clock is derived ultimately from the Celtic words clagan and clocca meaning "bell". For horologists and other specialists the term clock continues to mean exclusively a device with a striking mechanism for announcing intervals of time acoustically, by ringing a bell, a set of chimes, or a gong. A silent instrument lacking such a mechanism has traditionally been known as a timepiece. In general usage today a "clock" refers to any device for measuring and displaying the time. Watches and other timepieces that can be carried on one's person are often distinguished from clocks.

4. Place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Fold in and stir the salad before serving.

Tips
• You also may want to refrigerate the coleslaw overnight, if possible.
• Use Splenda instead of sugar to lower calorie content.
• Use light or fat-free mayonnaise to reduce fat.

Do you like pizza? If yes,you should read this.Pizza can be high in salt and fat. There are concerns about negative health effects. Pizza Hut has come under criticism for the high salt content of some of their meals which were found to contain more than twice the daily recommended amount of salt for an adult. European nutrition research on the eating habits of people with cancer of the mouth, oesophagus, throat or colon showed those who ate pizza at least once a week had less chance of developing cancer, they found. Dr Silvano Gallus, of the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmaceutical Research in Milan, who led the research said that tomato sauce could offer protection against certain tumors, but did not expect pizza as a complete meal also offer such protective powers. While Nicola O'Connor, of Cancer Research UK, told BBC News Online said that the secret is probably lycopene, an antioxidant chemical in tomatoes, which is thought to offer some protection against cancer, and which gives the fruit its red color. But before people start dialing the local pizza takeaway, they should consider that some pizzas can be high in saturated fat, salt and calories. In contrast to the classic Italian pizza used in the research, most UK pizza takeaway varieties are often loaded with high fat cheeses and fatty meats and yeast, a high intake of which can contribute to obesity, itself a risk factor for cancer. He advice is to enjoy selected Italian pizza in moderation as part of a balanced diet that includes plenty of vegetables and fruit.Italian Carlo La Vecchia, a Milan-based epidemiologist said Italian pizza lovers should not see the research as a license to indulge their fondness for pizza food. There is nothing to indicate that pizza is the only thing responsible for these results.Pizza could simply be indicative of a lifestyle and food habits, in other words the Italian version of a Mediterranean diet.A Mediterranean diet is rich in olive oil, fiber, vegetables, fruit, flour and freshly cooked food - including traditional Italian healthy pizza.
That’s all.

The modern Western form of the practice of giving or exchanging engagement rings is traditionally thought to have begun in 1477 when Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor, gave Mary of Burgundy a diamond ring as an engagement present.
Customs for engagement rings vary according to time, place, and culture. An engagement ring is worn on the fourth finger of the left hand. The tradition of wearing a ring for engagement originated from the Egyptians, who believed the circle was a bond between the two people who were to be married, but was initially first practiced on the fourth finger by the Romans, who believed this finger to be the beginning of the vena amoris ("vein of love"), the vein that leads to the heart. In countries from South America, like in Argentina, man and woman each use one ring, and these are generally very similar to the wedding rings, with the difference that they are made of silver instead of gold. In Nordic countries such as Finland and Norway, both men and women wear an engagement ring. In Brazil they are always made of gold, and there is no tradition for the engagement ring. Both men and women wear the wedding band on their right hand while engaged, and after they marry, they shift the rings to their left hands.
In the modern era, some women's wedding rings are made into two separate pieces. One part is given to her to wear as an engagement ring when she accepts the marriage proposal, and the other during the wedding ceremony. When worn together, the two rings look like one piece of jewelery.

That’s all.

Studies show that children who eat breakfast do better in school. It doesn't take much further thought to realize adults will feel better and perform better at work as well. Whether you work at home, on the farm, at the office, at school, or on the road, it is not a good idea to skip breakfast. Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day.
When you skip breakfast, you are likely to become tired when your brain and body run low on fuel. By mid-morning, you might grab a cup of coffee or wolf down a sugary candy bar to wake up again. This might work for a few minutes, but by lunch time you are hungry, crabby, and perhaps your mood might make you a little more prone to make unhealthy choices at lunch.
Skipping breakfast is a common strategy for losing weight, but not a smart one. Many people believe that they will lose weight if they skip meals, but that just isn't true; the body expects to be refueled a few times each day -- starting with breakfast.
Actually, eating breakfast is good for weight loss. In fact, people who eat breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight.
That’s all.

History of Chocolate...

Christopher Columbus is believed to be the first European to discover chocolate. When Columbus returned to Spain in 1502 from his fourth voyage to the New World, he introduced many treasures to the court of King Ferdinand. Among them were cocoa beans, almond-shaped seeds from the cacao tree that are the source of all the chocolate and cocoa products we enjoy today.

A few decades later, during his conquest of Mexico, the Spanish explorer, Hernando Cortez, found Aztec Indians using cocoa beans to prepare a drink called "chocolatl", meaning "warm liquid". The Aztec Emperor Montezuma, who reportedly drank 50 or more portions daily, served guests this royal drink in ceremonial golden goblets, treating it like a nectar for the gods.

In fact, the cacao tree's botanical name, Theobroma cacao, pays homage to its mythical origins. Translated from the Greek, "theobroma" means "food of the gods". The Aztecs held that prophets had brought cocoa beans to their lands. Thus, the beans were a valued commodity, not only for use as a kingly drink but also as a medium of exchange. Four cocoa beans was the price of a turkey, for example.

Cortez, who described chocolatl as "the divine drink ... which builds up resistance and fights fatigue", and his countrymen, conceived the idea of sweetening the bitter drink with cane sugar. The recipe for the sweetened frothy beverage underwent several more changes in Spain, where newly discovered spices such as cinnamon and vanilla were added as flavorings.

Spain wisely began to plant cacao trees in its overseas possessions, but consigned the processing of cocoa beans to monasteries under a veil of secrecy. They kept the recipe to themselves for nearly 100 years, but the secret was finally leaked to the rest of Europe. As first, chocolate was restricted to the nobility. In fact, the Spanish Princess Maria Theresa presented cocoa beans as an engagement gift to Louis XIV, and soon chocolate was the rage of the fashionable Court of France. The famous historic figures Casanova and Madame DuBarry both believed that chocolate was conducive to romance. So popular did chocolate become that in 1657 the first of many English "chocolate houses" was established, to serve the drink to the general public.

Chocolate drinking arrived in the American colonies in 1765, when the first chocolate factory opened in New England. Even Thomas Jefferson extolled chocolate's virtues, describing "...the superiority of chocolate for both health and nourishment".

Mass production of chocolate began when the steam engine, invented by James Watt in 1770, mechanized the cocoa bean grinding process, thereby replacing the time-consuming hand method of manufacture. The invention of the cocoa press in 1828 by C.J. Van Houten did much to improve the quality of the beverage by squeezing out part of the cocoa butter, the fat that occurs naturally in cocoa beans.

In the middle of the 19th century, two significant developments revolutionized the chocolate industry. In 1847, an English company introduced solid "eating" chocolate. Now the public could enjoy chocolate eaten out of the hand as well as in the form of a drink. Three decades later, at Vevey, Switzerland, Daniel Peter found that milk could be added to chocolate to make a new product, appropriately named milk chocolate.

Since that time, chocolate has been manufactured in solid bar form and to enrobe confections, as well as an ingredient in baked goods, ice cream, and flavored milk. The value of chocolate as a portable food for both energy and morale has long been recognized. From the Civil War on, chocolate has been carried into the field by soldiers.

Good day everyone...
Lets explore the experience in love stages… Lust is the initial passionate sexual desire that promotes mating, and involves the increased release of chemicals such as testosterone and estrogen. These effects rarely last more than a few weeks or months. Attraction is the more individualized and romantic desire for a specific candidate for mating, which develops out of lust as commitment to an individual mate forms. Recent studies in neuroscience have indicated that as people fall in love, the brain consistently releases a certain set of chemicals, including pheromones, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, which act in a manner similar to amphetamines, stimulating the brain's pleasure center and leading to side effects such as increased heart rate, loss of appetite and sleep, and an intense feeling of excitement. Research has indicated that this stage generally lasts from one and a half to three years.
Since the lust and attraction stages are both considered temporary, a third stage is needed to account for long-term relationships. Attachment is the bonding that promotes relationships lasting for many years and even decades. Attachment is generally based on commitments such as marriage and children, or on mutual friendship based on things like shared interests. It has been linked to higher levels of the chemicals oxytocin and vasopressin to a greater degree than short-term relationships have.
Enzo Emanuele and coworkers reported the protein molecule known as the nerve growth factor (NGF) has high levels when people first fall in love, but these return to previous levels after one year.

Thats all.

Guavas are low in calories and fats but contain several vital vitamins, minerals and antioxidant poly-phenolic and flavonoid compounds that play role in prevention of cancers, anti-aging, immune booster etc.The fruit is very rich source of soluble dietary fiber , which makes it a good bulk laxative. The fiber content helps protect the colon mucous membrane.Fresh guava-fruit is an excellent source of antioxidant vitamin-C, provides more than three times the DRI. Outer thick rind contains exceptionally higher levels of vitamin C than central pulp. Scientific studies shown that regular consumption of fruits rich in vitamin C helps body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge cancer causing harmful free radicals from the body.It is also a very good source of Vitamin-A and flavonoids like beta carotene, lycopene lutein and cryptoxanthin. These compounds are known to have antioxidant properties and are essential for optimum health. Vitamin A also required maintaining healthy mucus membranes and skin. Consumption of natural fruits rich in carotene's known to protect from lung and oral cavity cancers.Fresh fruit is a very rich source of potassium. Potassium in an important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. It is also a very good source of B-complex vitamins such as pantothenic acid, niacin, vitamin-B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin E and K, and minerals like magnesium, copper and manganese. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase. Copper is required in the production of red blood cells.

Easy Weight Loss Rules You Must Know

Choose low fat foods …
Do your weekly shop online, and look up the fat content of what you are buying. If there are no fatty foods in the house, you won’t be able to eat them. I so cut back on cookies and chocolates after I stopped bringing this stuff home!

Pick healthy snacks …
Swap your chocolate bar and crisps for fruit, cheese sticks, and nuts, and you’ll notice the difference within days. I now take a sliced apple with me every day and whenever I feel hungry I no longer run for a candy bar!

Check what you are drinking …
It’s a common diet mistake to calorie analyze everything we eat, but forget about calories consumed in drinks. If you can, cut out all sugary drinks altogether, or at least allow yourself 5 cans a week for the start.

Have a proper mealtime when you eat …
If you’re watching TV, it can be easy to get distracted from how much you’ve actually eaten, so it’s better to stay clear of the silver screen if you have food before of you. better to sit at the kitchen table and have that meal before your favorite show starts.

Check the labels …
A lot of ‘healthy’ milkshakes and smoothies contain really high sugar levels. Whenever is possible, substitute them with fresh squeezed juice. They taste great and they have no sugar, just fructose which does not turn into fat and vitamins which you need for the health and beauty of your skin and hair.

What is the history and status of US support of Israel?
There are many reasons for the strong bond between the US and Israel, on many levels. The fundamental moral and philosphical basis for the support is explained very well in the article A Nation Like Ours: Why Americans stand with Israel by David Gelernter, referenced in the Sources section at the bottom of the page. On a practical level, the following sections review various dimensions of the US support.

Economic Cooperation
In 1951 the US provided the first aid to Israel, $65 million to help Israel take in Holocaust survivors and endangered Jews from Arab lands. Within 3 years, Israel's 650,000 Jews absorbed 600,000 refugees from Europe and the Arab nations.
There has been economic aid to Israel every year since 1949, with the amounts fluctuating, generally increasing as the cooperation with Israel became closer or in years when Israel was forced to fight defensive wars or terrorism. From 1960 until 1985, there were no grants; aid consisted largely of loans, which Israel repaid, and surplus commodities, which Israel bought. The reference "U.S. Assistance to Israel" gives a table of annual amounts. The aid to other countries in the region has also increased and is similar in total amount. Much of the aid to Israel is for defense and the money is actually spent with U.S. suppliers so it recycles back to the United States.
Israel is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world. Several binational programs allow American companies and universities to benefit from Israel’s expertise in agriculture and high technology, while others aim to break down barriers to trade and cooperation between the two countries to make collaboration easier. Israel was the first country to sign a free trade agreement with the US, which has resulted in a quintupling of trade between the two countries. The US-Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA) has served as a model for other trade agreements including the October 2000 FTA between the US and Jordan.
For many years Israel received US financial and military assistance in a combined total of about $3 billion, divided into $1.2 billion in economic assistance and $1.8 billion in military aid. As the Israeli economy grew, and Soviet-era refugees were absorbed, the need for the aid package decreased. In recent years the economic aid has been reduced, while the military package has grown a little since the start of the al-Aqsa intifada.

Why do Christian Zionists support Israel?

A Christian Zionist is a Christian who looks with favor on the Jewish return to Zion, the city of Jerusalem and the land of Israel, specifically because of the biblical significance of this return.
Christian Zionism

Traditional Christian thinking said that God's covenant with the Jews had been diluted by the Jews failure to accept Jesus as the Messiah. The Church viewed itself as the continuation of the 'Israel of God', made up of Jews and Gentiles alike who accepted Christ. Under the doctrine of "Replacement Theology" it was the Christians who now were God's chosen people, carrying out God's will on earth. All earlier religions, including the Jews, had to accept Christ or were lost.

But in the 1830s a new school of thought was put forth by John Nelson Darby, an Englishman. Darby's views, known as "dispensationalism", held that God's dealing with mankind in history were divided into three consecutive "dispensations":

* First Dispensation: Mosaic Law, through which God offered salvation to the Jews through the observance of His commandments.
* Second Dispensation: The coming of Christ, who instituted the age of Grace, in which God became preoccupied with Christians.
* Third and final Dispensation: The return of Jesus, who will establish a literal thousand-year reign upon the earth.

In Dispensationalist doctrine, the final stage of history before the advent of the Antichrist and the Second Coming of Christ would see a return of Diaspora Jews from around the world to the Biblical Land of Israel. While this was inconceivable in the first half of the 19th Century, that's exactly what happened. The Zionist began the return of European Jews, to join the communities who never left, in the late 19th Century and the nation of Israel was reborn in 1948.

Today, tens of millions of Protestant Christians in the United States and more around the world support Israel with an uncritical fervor, exceeding even Jewish support. The Israeli government has recognized the significance of this support since the 1970s, and has courted these Christians for a generation.

In 1980, Christian supporters of Israel established the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. The Embassy opened after the international community condemned Israel for declaring united Jerusalem the "eternal and indivisible capital" of the reborn Jewish state. As thirteen nations moved their embassies from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv due to a threatened Arab oil embargo, 1400 Christians from 40 countries decided to open their own Embassy in Jerusalem.

During the al-Aqsa Intifada and continuing through the murderous terrorist attacks on Israel in 2001 and 2002, Christian Zionist groups sent thousands of visitors to Israel on Solidarity Missions. These groups came to Israel from the United States and the rest of the world to meet Israelis, to pray in the Holy Land, to visit Christian shrines, but most of all to show that they believe in and support Israel's right to exist and the justice of Israel's cause vs. the immorality and injustice of Israel's enemies.

Christians in the Middle East have suffered under Islamic rule. A further reason for Christian Zionist support, therefore, is the realization that an Islamic victory over Israel would swiftly mean the end of the Christian Holy Places in the Middle East.

Role of Christian Zionists in American Support for Israel
The United States supports Israel for many reasons, rooted in shared values of morality and common ideas of secular, religious and economic freedom. Possibly the most fervent and steady of Israel's American supporters are the Evangelical Christians.
Anti-Israel forces try to spread the idea that the United States is in the grip of a "Jewish lobby" that somehow controls the actions of Congress and the White House. They suggest that Jews -- about 2.2% of Americans -- are making American policy toward Israel different from what most Americans want. One fact quickly disposes of this nonsense: there are 70 million Protestant evangelicals in North America who are as devoted to Israel as any Jew.
Quoting Dennis Prager:
• Given the grave implications of this charge - that pro-Israel policy is against U.S. interest and that Jews and their money are the reasons for U.S. support of Israel - it is very important to clarify why the charge is untrue. The first reason is that it ignores Christians, specifically evangelical Christians. These Americans have supplanted Jewish Americans as the most powerful support group for Israel. They believe the Bible when it says, in Genesis, that God will bless those who bless the Jews and curse those who curse the Jews. They are, incidentally, quite right: the United States and the Arab world today are examples of that biblical promise. [Washington Times, July 6, 2002]

Why was Gandhi against the Zionists?

Gandhi, as a young lawyer, assumed leadership of protest campaigns against apartheid in South Africa and gradually developed his program of nonviolent resistance. Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian nationalist leader, is one of the towering figures of moral authority in the world. He was not in favor of the State of Israel or the Zionists who produced it.In a letter titled "The Jews in Palestine 1938". Gandhi set forth his ideas about the Jews and Arabs in Palestine, then under the British Mandate government. Although he starts off with "My sympathies are all with the Jews", his analysis mostly favors the Arab cause. In the letter he says, among other things:
• ... my sympathy does not blind me to the requirements of justice. The cry for the national home for the Jews does not make much appeal to me. ... Why should they not, like other peoples of the earth, make that country their home where they are born and where they earn their livelihood?
• ... if [the Jews in Palestine] must look to the Palestine of geography as their national home, it is wrong to enter it under the shadow of the British gun. A religious act cannot be performed with the aid of the bayonet or the bomb.
• I am not defending the Arab excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regarded as an unwarrantable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming odds.
• If I were a Jew and were born in Germany and earned my livelihood there, I would claim Germany as my home even as the tallest gentile German might... I would refuse to be expelled or to submit to discriminating treatment
Gandhi says, in a quote beloved by supporters of the Palestinian Arabs:
• Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs... Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home.
