Dear M06

Dear M06,
I know that it is raining heavily outside and you might be imagining of you bunk. Somehow, you are to to write your comments in this blog tonight. Notice that it is already 24th of August 2009 and you have only less than a week to post your comments here. The first topic I gave you is up to your interest as long as it does not touch on any sensitive issue. I would like you to also post your comments on 'Literature and its Importance'. While you are writing on it, perhaps you could do a bit of flashback of your secondary schools and texts used for literature classes. Remember to post on the topic generally and include your personal experience in literature classes.

Phantom of the Opera..

This novel is written by Gaston Leroux. This story sets in Opera House in Paris. Its main character, Erik, is a romantic figure whose appeal reaches across different cultures and times. He is a sensitive soul, an accomplished composer and musician whose great unfinished work, Don Juan Triumphant, is described as breathtakingly beautiful by the one person he allows to hear it.He is an object of pity, whose face has been disfigured from birth, causing him to hide behind a silk mask and he is hopelessly in love with a young woman whom he can never seriously hope will love him back. At the same time, he a dangerous, menacing figure, lurking in the hidden catacombs beneath the opera house and blackmailing those who will not bow to his will. It happens because he was tormented during his life. He can hear things said in privacy and can create catastrophes that might or might not be the accidents that they seem to be.

Literature play its own important role in our life.
It acts as a medium for us to communicate regardless of its form..For example, novels can be used as a medium for an author to send good messages all over the globe..Even fantasy novels such as Harry Potter got its own messages from its very own author,J.K.Rowling..it will be depending on the readers on how to interpret the moral values from the novel they read.In our daily life, there is also an application of literature. For example,we can see it even from our very own surrounding..such as,young couples will tend to use nicer words when they are talking to each other in order not to hurt each other's feelings.Eventhough the words used are not very metaphoric...the words will be very well arranged so that it will not cause misunderstanding. In this contact, although the usage of literacy words are not clearly shown,it proves that literature got its own way in playing its role in our life regardless of its form.

Literature...
Meaning:The art of written works. Literally translated, the word means "acquaintance with letters" (from Latin word) and the academic study of literature is known as Letters (as in the phrase "Arts and Letters").
Besides,in Western culture the most basic written literary types include fiction and nonfiction.

What is the importance of literature:
Literature can expanses our learning. It helps you to think and in writing.Besides,it helps you to learn different phrases.
When we discover literature also, we can travel to any place at any time, even to the future, and see how others view the same world.

This is an example of literature:
Title: The Fate
By: Mr Praveen
Genre: Sad

It seems or so people say,
the moment we are born
our fate is already etched
on to our foreheads [1];

how i wish mine was a different one,
i could then do all that i wanted,
the way i want to, carefree
and not bound by any restrictions;

how i wish you could stay with me,
spend our time together without a care
not worrying when you will be taken away
and hidden from us all;

moment when you left, still visible
in my eyes, those sweet, laughter filled
eyes turning into a ravaging floods, once
the realization set in;

unable to stop you, unable to do much
beyond waving goodbye,
standing amidst a sea of gloom
we bid you farewell, hoping the next time
is much longer than this time

iSsuE: ABORTION!!
Here I want to share with you guys on current issue that I have read in related web and among all issues that have been discussed, one topic have attract me. It is ABORTION.It has become more volatile issue as it become worst and worst thing that had happened in this hectic world.
But, do we ever think why this should be happen?? Or any ways to avoid this??
Based on web that I have read, it tells me that abortion now is one of the most divisive and controversial issues of our day. It is not only a social issue, but it is an issue about life and death.
As I take The Humanistic word, "Man is the highest standard there is. You don't answer to anyone, so do whatever you want."
For me,our culture has a definite agenda supporting to overcome this problem and we as a society, should lend a helping hand or any ways to help this phenomena from becoming more worst. We as teenagers also should think this critically that when one abortion happened, one life have been killed. Can't we see this as an extremely cruel did.So think if do we have right to kill the baby that has been conceived?! The one that have zero sin and so innocent. It's a so pity thing.:(sad!!

WAYS TO OVERCOME NERVOURSNESS..

First of all,why I want to write on tips to overcome nervoursness? This is become,as a student,we will be exposed to the 2 ways communicatoin learning. As example, we will have to present any task given in front of our lecturer and friend and actually this will help us lots in preparing ourselves and our soft skill before entering the next phase after student life, that is working life. There are some tips to overcome nervoursness...

1.Be prepared. If you have a presentation, then study your notes and what you are about to say carefully before start the presentation.Doing this carefully can remove a lot of nervousness.Being well prepared can be helpful not only to remove nervousness but also to ace the presentation.

2.Visualize in a positive ways.Visualize how great the events will unfold.Imagine that you can see and hear it and also think how great will you feel.See yourself smiling, being positive, open and having a great time. See the excellent outcome in your mind. And they can make you feel less and less nervous in any situation.

3.Practise,practise and practise until satisfied. The more you practise, take action and put yourself in situations that may make you nervous the more confident you become. So you feel more and more comfortable and less nervous.

4.Be yourself and realize that people do not know what you will do. One big source of nervousness is focusing too much on what people will think of you. And thinking that their criticism is always about you.But actually people don’t think that much about what you do.

5.Stay in the present moment. Pay attention to what is happening right now. Just focus on what in front of you. Don’t think about the messy thing that can dies out your focus. Just pay attention to the present moment and nothing else for a few moments. Make it a habit and try to expand the time you can spend in the present moment before your thoughts drift away again.

I think that is all..Try it and share the result with me,as me too having the nervous feeling while present, exactly I will try this out. Good Luck for this nervoursness trial!!huhu;)

Assalamu'laikum M06!!

Friends, are you interested to write any extract about literature?
Although being an excellant engineer, you also have a chance to be an excellant writer. Who knows??

Some people say that they can just start writing and it all flows smoothly and evenly to become the perfect one.If you can write on this way, I envy you. But, most people need to form their ideas in some kind of outline. In order to be a writer, you need to decide what point of view you are going to use in a particular scene and stick with it.Dont jump back and forth, itc confusing. The obvious mistakes-This is actually one of the most important. No matter how great your word processing program or how many times you proofread yourself, you can always overlook missspellings, grammatical errors and incorrect punctuation. You should have someone very qualified in English or a professional editor proofread your work.

I hope these guidelines will help you a little on your journey to writing that perfect extract.

Hello, i am Loh ...Congratulation to all of my coursemate because all of you finished the first presentation in technical english class. After listen your's persentation, i have learn something new and i wanna to share with you all.
Today I wanna to talk about the hand gesture .This kind of action is not only make your persentation become more interesting, it's also can conceal your body shiver especially your hands when you are holding a sheet of paper.Although you are very nervous when stand in front of your audience, you still have to present in front of them .If your audience laugh because of your body shivering ,then your will feel embarrass and then totally lose your confidence.Lastly it's maybe will become a joke among your friends after this ,so ,try to make some hand gesture which is very helpful for your presentation.
Thank you

Hye again.Today I would like to share with you guys on our course which is Biomechanics. With this bit information,I hope we can have a clear view about our future undertaking. Check this out Biomechanics engineers...;)

What is Biomechanics?
Biomechanics is the application of mechanical principles to living organisms. This includes bioengineering, the research and analysis of the mechanics of living organisms and the application of engineering principles to and from biological systems. This research and analysis can be carried forth on multiple levels, from the molecular, wherein biomaterials such as collagen and elastin are considered, all the way up to the tissue and organ level.

The applications of biomechanics?
The study of biomechanics ranges from the inner workings of a cell to the movement and development of limbs, to the mechanical properties of soft tissue, and bones. As we develop a greater understanding of the physiological behavior of living tissues, researchers are able to advance the field of tissue engineering, as well as develop improved treatments for a wide array of pathologies.

Bit clear about this field??erm..anyway,I will continue write on this next time..

Salam to every one.
Ramadhan in Malaysia
19th April 2007 where I step my foot in Malaysia. That is first time in my life I’ve been away from my family and my country.
Malaysia is a beautiful country. Majority of the community is Malay with Islamic religion just like my country Yemen.
I still remember in the first year I’m in Malaysia celebrating ramadhan, I tried to adjust myself to adapt with the environment, food, community and others in Malaysia. I still couldn’t eat Malaysian food because most of their foods are spicy food. When the time of breaking fast, I just ate biscuit, bread with fruit juice and sometimes I cooked by myself. Luckily in the university where I studied before have many international students and most of them are from arab countries so they opened stall selling Arabic food.
Now is my 3rd year celebrating ramadhan in Malaysia and I already adapted with Malaysian food even not all but at least I still can eat their food. Usually the simplest thing I eat is roti canai with teh tarik, for heavy meals I will take white rice with fried chicken and with some gravy like curry. During my free time I will go out to see the places in Malaysia. This year, in my first day ramadhan I went to Shah Alam with my friend. We went to the biggest bazaar ramadhan in Shah Alam where it located at Shah Alam stadium. The place is so crowded with people who sell and buy. A lot of varieties of foods are being sold in that bazaar. My friend and I bought ‘roti john’, ‘rojak mamak’, curry puff and fruit juice. Then we went to MJ Briyani restaurant, this is where the best briyani rice that I ever taste in Malaysia and we had our break fast there.
Not to forget, in this holy month we as a muslim should do good deeds and ibadah as much as we can. During the night, if am not tired from my classes in that day or if I don’t have any class at night, ill go to masjid in my university with all my friends but if they are busy ill go alone because I know am not alone in Allah’s house. Performing terawih sunnah pray after isya’ pray is one of the ibadah that being done every night. Every single night has different fadhilat or wisdom and insha’allah Allah will give us reward as He promised.

Salam
Again this is me Hamdi
This time I am going to write about the universal language.
What is the universal language in the world?
The universal language of the world is English
English is without a doubt the actual universal language. It is the world's second largest native language, the official language in 70 countries
English can be at least understood almost everywhere among scholars and educated people, as it is the world media language, and the language of cinema, TV, music and the computer world. All over the planet people know many English words, their pronunciation and meaning.
English is one of the most analytical languages, with no significant synthetic, fissional or agglutinative characteristics
If there were one language that could have a chance of being considered universal, it would be English. The Internet is a great sign of this, since most of the Internet is only written in English. Also since the Internet is becoming the most effective way to communicate overseas, more cultures are being forced to learn English.

Hello everyone......
Love....
Love? What is love? Why everybody needs love? Why we need love? According to Oxford Dictionary love means an intense feeling of deep affection. Some people said, without love the life would be meaningless. Love is not just a feeling to one person, love is abstract, it can be love to country, love to our parents, love to all what we have and etc. According to Islamic believes the true love is the love to their creator which is Allah, this is the ultimate love. How we show our love to Allah? By doing all the things that He asked us to do and leave bad things that He forbid. When we follow all the rules in Islam, insha’allah we will live in a good life and Allah will bless our life and not just for that He will granted us His Jannah or heaven.
Other than that, love to our country. I’m from Yemen, I’ve been born and raised there. 22 years in my life I spent it in Yemen until I come to Malaysia in 2007, and I guess I start to love this country. I find out that Malaysia is the country that full of colours, it has multirational peoples, multireligion, customs and delicious foods. Even Malaysia have all these, it still stays in peace and harmony. Suitable with the campaign One Malaysia now. Unlike Arab countries, most of them are not unite together, we can see what had happen to Iraq and Palestine. There’s no love and sympathy among Arabic leaders to help them.
Lastly, love to a person. There’s one Malay proverbs says ‘from the eyes fall down to the heart’. When we see nice and beautiful things directly our heart will love it. Especially when a guy see a beautiful girl and vice versa. He starts to like the girl and try to make a move to win her heart. One says;’ love is the first feeling you feel before the bad stuffs gets in the way’. When we start to like or to love someone, we must be ourselves, the true ourselves. We don’t have to hide or to pretend to be someone else in order to get people’s love. We must be honest and sincere to love people. What will be they feel if they find out that we love them for something or we have hidden agenda, and we gave them false hope! Just imagine if other people do the same thing to us. Remember, never break four things in your life, TRUST, PROMISE, RELATION and HEART, cause when it break, it wont make any sounds but pains a lot. With love, someone’s life will be meaningful; he/she feels his/her life so cheerful and full of shine. Right now my heart is full of shine!Alhamdullah.....

Hi everyone.....
again me!
Kapas Island
Malaysia is one of the countries that have many beautiful beaches and island. Many tourists all over the world come to Malaysia just because of the beaches and the island. The sea water is crystal clear until we can see the floor of the sea. There many beautiful islands in Malaysia, such as Langkawi Islands, Redang Islands, Perhentian Islands, Kapas Islands and many more.
Kapas Island is the island that I’ve been last year in August. My friend and I took a bus from Kuala Lumpur until Kuantan, and then from Kuantan we ride a car with another friend who already waited us there. From Kuantan we continue our journey until jetty. From there we took a boat until Kapas Island. We reached there in the evening around 2 o’clock, then we moved to Kapas Island Resort and we checked in. After that we went to our chalet put all our stuff and take rest for a while.
The exciting part has come, after rest we all when to the beach and met the beach guard brother Awang, actually he’s the one who brought us to the sea for snorkeling. We did snorkeling and swimming for more than three hours, the sea water is so clear, clean and cold. It was a nice feeling that I would never forget. I can see the fish swimming in front of me, feed them with the bread that I brought before we go. It’s just so beautiful.
At that night, after we had our dinner, we walked around the island. Actually Kapas Island is just a small island, we can tour the island around 2 hours, with the help and guidance from brother Awang who companied us to tour the island, I find out that in certain time in August, turtle will come and landed to Kapas Island to lay it eggs.
I just stay in Kapas Island for two days and one night, so the next day after breakfast we swam at the beach and one hour before checked out time we prepared ourselves and all the stuff. After checked out, we managed to catch a boat to go to the jetty. Then we continued our journey back to Kuala Lumpur. It is really a nice memory that I wont forget about Malaysia....
Love you Malaysia....:):):):)

Assamualaikum / Hi M06!!
Literature and Science
We are future engineers, are we not? So, why are we learning literature? The answer is what I want to share with you today.
Literature is an art which teaches you to be creative and independent. Unlike science, literature does not get constrained by any physical or chemical law. You can write anything you want, and no one can blame you for what you write. However, from this independent hand motions, new ideas are generated from our scientific thinking, which lead to new inventions and structures. For example, ideas taken from novels, such as Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein (1959) and The Forever War by Joe Haldeman (1974), has been used to develop military and weapon technologies. Same goes to A.I. Artificial Intelligence movie which lead to the development of robotic and artificial intelligence technology.

Assalamualaikum / Hi M06
Literature and Moral Values
Apart from only learning about the literature components of a story or a novella, there is something that we can implement in our daily life, which is the moral value of the story.

No matter what story it is, there must be certain moral values, either clearly stated or hidden, which can be taken for it. During our secondary school, we had gone through some books and their literature reviews. For example, “The Pearl” novella by John Steinbeck had taught us about the importance of patience and the implications of greed and materialism. Another example is the famous Harry Porter series, which though seems to be mythical and fantasy, but it is full of friendship and justice values.

However, these values are not meant to be written on the exam papers only. We must put them into practice to get the good out of it. This is parallel to an Arabic proverb saying that, “Knowledge without any practice is like a tree without any fruit.” So, this proves that there is more to literature than the eyes can see. So, who would still argue that literature is not important?

Wallahu ‘alam.

Assalamualaikum/ Hi M06

Al-Quran is the best literature material ever..Do you argue friends??

Compared to the other literature material, Al-Quran's content is not time-based. It does not need to be updated as time flows and era changes, unlike other study material. It can be used as guidance by everyone anytime, anyplace. Although there are many researches, investigations and experiments done by the scientists, none of them can argue with the validity of al-Quran. Have you ever heard of Al-Quran 2nd edition? The answer is an absolute NO.

Al-Quran has no mistakes either in language structure or grammar. The language is very beautiful, lovely and nice. The verses in al-Quran may calm the soul and ease the pain in our heart.

Hi…

Do you know what the atmosphere is? The atmosphere is the layer of gases that surrounds the Earth. The gravity helps to stabilized the atmosphere. What made up the atmosphere? It is a combination of a mixture of different gases, solid particles and water vapour, or it commonly known as air

As we know, air is dense from the level that we are living in up to a certain point. At the atmosphere, the air is actually a lot thinner than on Earth.

Do you know why the sky is blue? The atmosphere is divided into four layers known as troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere and thermosphere. The troposphere is the nearest to Earth and this is where formation of clouds and storm occur.

Sunlight contains all colours of visible light. The air molecules in the atmosphere scatter the light similar to a prism. Blue light scattered the most and passes the atmosphere almost unchanged. When blue light collides with other molecules, the blue light will be scattered in all directions causing our sky to become blue in colour.

Hello…

A mobile phone or a laptop. Which gadget is more useful?

A mobile phone was created from a telephone that needed to be connected to be able to communicate. Mobile phone allows the user to communicate with others anywhere as it is cordless. Mobile phone makes life easy for us as we are also able to send text messages instead of a long conversation that can cost a lot of money.

As technologies improved, mobile phone evolved from just talking and texting to a whole lot more. We are now able to take pictures and surf the internet using the mobile phones.

One of the drawbacks of a mobile phone is that the youngsters started to misuse the advantages provided by a mobile phone. For example, we can see a lot of people using mobile phone to send phonographic images that could destroy the mind of the teenagers. By sending text messages, teenagers tend to use simplified language. This causes fear that the teenagers might forget how to write and speak using the correct grammar and sentence structure.

A laptop is very useful for a job that requires the person to travel a lot, especially to a very rural area. A lot of data can be saved inside a laptop which can make life easy as we don’t need to use a thumb drive because sometimes they are too small to store a lot of information. We can also use a laptop as a medium of communication as we nowadays have Myspace, Facebook and many other more.

One thing that is not the advantage of a laptop is that it can sometimes be very expensive. The laptop is so portable that it is easy to either misplace it or for someone to steal it. If you have an important data in the laptop and such things occur, there is nothing that you do.

Actually I feel very pity to our section (M06),because I think we have to work harder than other section .Why I think so?Firstly,we are the first batch for the Biomechanical student in Malaysia. We don't have any direct senior and we have to slove the problems ourself when we are in the third and fourt year.Seconly, we have to go to Pekan three times a week for study.Lastly is about the subject that we have to study.
Most of us are biology student during Form6 or Matriculation ,so that we have to take phycis in this semester.Beside that, we have to study Physic,Chemistry, and Biology but for other section ,they only have to study Physic and Chemistry. We have no choice because that is our fate,we have to face it.Let us work hard together .M06 GAMBATEH!!!

Greetings fellow friends…

I love my mom so much. Do you? How do you show her that you love her? Have you ever make something to or for her that made her cry? No matter the tears are tears of joy or tears of sadness. No matter whether it is intentionally or unintentionally. This is just a food for thought…

The burden on your shoulder
How can I put it off?
The tears in your eyes
How can I wipe it off?

The soul of a fighter
That’s what you are
The pain won’t stop you
The winding road won’t hold you back
The tears won’t weaken you down
Not once ever I saw a glint of failure
And never will I see it in your eyes

The fighter spirit that you have
Like a gladiator fighting for his life
It will never stop
Because you are who you are
And you won’t let others change that
No matter what
You will remain as yourself
Because that is who you are
And that is the person that we love…

Mother is the person that gave birth to us. Appreciate her because there is only one mother we can and will ever have. When she is gone, there will no one that replace her.
I wrote this for my mother on her birthday.

Literature is a reflection of society.A writer appeals to our feelings, emotions through various elements of literature, such as plot, character, theme, etc. There are different types and forms of literature. They are novel, drama, poetry, biography, non-fictional prose, essay, epic and short story.

Literature is a depiction of reality. It reflects the reality of life.Somehow,it is rather a value-addition.We gained new knowledge and understanding through the literature. It can change one's perspective towards life. It is great that literature is under our education during secondary school.Ancient poetic works by poets like Shakespeare's sonnets is one of it.Literature serves as an enormous information base.Literature is of importance to us to learn about human nature in all its foibles and greatness, to learn about the human past and our own pasts, and to learn about other cultures. In my point of views,it is beneficial by having literature's reading as a interest. We can learn to write,to comment and to think logically.

An Independence Day is an annual celebration observing the anniversary of a nation's independent statehood, usually after ceasing to be a colony or part of another state. All countries honor their respective independence day, celebrating it as a national holiday.Anyway, the independence of Malaysia is different from that of the independence of other countries. It was a peaceful independence attained by holding talks with the British. Thus on 31 August 1957, Malaysia got its independence from the United Kingdom.

On this glorious day Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman proudly declared the independence day of Malaysia by shouting out "Merdeka" seven times at the Merdeka Stadium. To me Merdeka is more appropriate as it means “freedom.” It was the day we were free to rule the country on our own and become a sovereign state with laws of our own.In a larger perspective this day is celebrates the formation of Malaysia. On August 31, 2009, Malaysia will celebrate its 51 years of independence.

MERDEKA!

Dealing Quarter-life crises:
When approaching mid-20's,that is the best time of your life. The transition from college to the real world sets the stage for the quarter-life crisis, hitting those in their early and mid-20s.We will have to deal with work, independence and new responsibilities.Be well-prepared yourself before entering the quarter-life.University life prepares you from the academic perspective, but the real world initiates you into what's needed to succeed. To avoid yourself from losing life's direction in the future.I think it is beter we enrich ourselves with the knowledge.Do not just fully dependent on the information provided by lecturer. We should search for extra information through internet and reference book in the library.Do the maximun work and get the least credicts. If it is possible, try to join some exhibition related to our future career. An important lesson of adulthood: Plans fail. Move to plan B!It is vitally important for us to change according to the situation.Be creative and innovative. As a FKM's students...we seems to learn alots of thing range from physic, maths, computer and also electrical...wow...Spend time wisely to get more.Learn more...

Assalamualaikum/ hi M06

Literature components consists of theme, moral value, plot, charactors and so on.
Each is important for more understanding towards literature extracts. For example:

SONNET 18
by William ShakeSpear

Shall I compare thee to summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of may
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date

Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d
And every fair from fair sometimes declines
By chance or nature’s changing course

Untrimm’d
By thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st
So long as men can breath or eyes can see
So long lives this
And this gives life to thee

Theme:
Beauty, immortalized in poetry , it continues to live while everything else dies with time.

Moral value:
-Beauty should be appreciated
-love is great motivator
-Nothing is permanent on Earth
-Time can change anything

-xX Guitars Xx-

Guitar is a musical instrument with ancient roots that adapts readily to a wide variety of musical styles. It typically has six strings, but four-, seven-, eight-, ten-, eleven-, twelve-, thirteen- and eighteen-string guitars also exist. The size and shape of the neck and the base of the guitar also vary, producing a variety of sounds. The three main types of guitars are the electric guitar, the classical guitar, and the acoustic guitar. Sometimes the last two are put in the same category.

Guitars are recognized as one of the primary instruments in flamenco, jazz, blues, country, mariachi, rock music, and many forms of pop. They can also be a solo classical instrument. Guitars may be played acoustically, where the tone is produced by vibration of the strings and modulated by the hollow body, or they may rely on an amplifier that can electronically manipulate tone.But..Electric guitars were only intoduced in the 1930's and they have continued to have a profound influence on popular culture since then.
There are many brands of guitars, but some commonly known brands are Fender, Gibson, Dean, Gretsch, Ibanez, Martin, Jackson, Schecter, Taylor, Paul Reed Smith, B.C. Rich, ESP and Yamaha.

Ibanez is like the one used by Yuna-Malaysian Artist,u can see the barnd at the bottom of her guitar.(there's a lot of other ibanez series actually)

ESP and Yamaha are the most common brand to be used by those who just wanted to get started with electric guitar.

I feel a long time ago not posted any comment here. So, now, I would like to share about the most desire band of mine, Boyce Avenue.

Boyce Avenue is a Florida-based band popular for its strong acoustic roots and constant drive toward a melody- and harmony-driven rock sound, consists of the three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. After Alejandro Manzano graduated from high school, he joined Fabian at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, where the band refined its signature sound playing out in traditional venues like Market Street and Side Bar, primarily with the help of drummer-friend Stephen Hatker, formerly of Code 55. In October 2006 and the months that followed, the band recorded its first three singles at Nickel and Dime Studios near Atlanta, Georgia. The project was engineered by Kris Sampson (Train, the Black Crowes) and produced by Don McCollister (Sister Hazel, Third Day). In late 2007, Boyce Avenue was honored in several songwriting competitions judged by a host of accomplished and renowned music industry artists, professionals, and executives. The band qualified as a Southeast Semifinalist in the 2007 IMWS competition; “All The While” was selected as a Semi-Finalist in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition, and as the Grand Prize Winner in the Pop category of the 2007 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Session I; and “Find Me” was selected as a Finalist in the Pop category for the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition.

On February 2009, the band went to the Philippines for their first Asian tour. Boyce Avenue's first performance in the Philippines and outside of the U.S. was in Cebu. The concert was held in the Atrium of SM City Cebu's Northwing last February 12, 2009. Boyce Avenue played songs from their album and from the videos that made them famous on YouTube. There were over 25,000 people in the audience.

I love them very much, especially Alejandro Manzano. They are really talented and the plucking of their guitar just made me fall in love.

now, we already fasting for 2 weeks. 2 weeks more we going to celebrate eid ul-fitr.Since that I have some friends that studying at UK, maybe I would like to share about eid ul fitr practicing by Muslim at UK.

There is a Khutbah (speech) in which the Imam gives advice to the Muslim community and usually Muslims are encouraged to end any past animosities they may have. He then goes on to the khutbah and then the prayer itself. When the local imam declares Eid ul-Fitr everyone greets and hugs each other. As Eid ul-Fitr is not a recognised public holiday in the United Kingdom, Muslims are obliged to attend the morning prayer. In a large ethnically Muslim area, normally schools and local businesses give exemptions to the Muslim community to take three days off. In the rest of the UK it is not recognised as it is not on a fixed date as it is decided by the sighting of the moon on the night before.

Like I mention before, Eid Ul-Fitr is not recognised as a public holiday at UK.According to my friend, some of her friends have to attend class at the morning of Eid Ul-Fitr. So just imagine how very sad and melancholy environment during Eid Ul-fitr.But when all Malaysian students gather to celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr, the environment change a bit. They wear baju kurung, baju melayu or baju kebaya.
They also eat special dishes such as ketupat, dodol, lemang and rendang that already cook the night before Eid Ul-Fitr and greet one another with "maaf zahir batin".

Thats a real life of oversea student.
They have to forget about the happines celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr with family. I just feel really lucky because I'm able to celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr with my family because I'm only studying at Pahang, not UK.

i also like to watch spongebob squarepants cartoons..and oggy and the coachroaches..
they are really funny..always making me laugh with their...err..stupid jokes..?ha3.
talking about laughing...we always hear that laughter is the best medicine..yup,i agree with that statement..it does help us to at least cheer up even a bit..
but,recently...i've read from a magazine about there are people who dies because of laughing..uh huh,i laughed at 1st a saw the title..but,there are scientific explanation about those phenomenon..but..unfortunately i forgot about all the facts..all that i remembered is that these people died because of laughing too much..loud & non-stop laugh..ouch,that really hurts i think.
a normal laugh like all we did wouldn't bring any harm but benefits.i also read an article about a patient who is paralyzed below the waist part who remarkably recovered even faster compared to other patients..because of the therapy that he made by himself, the laughter therapy as he called.he would stay on his bed every evening and watch comedy shows..and lots of 'em.his fast recovery did impressed the doctors especially the method the he used to recover help himself, the laughter therapy as it is almost like a miracle regarding what happened to him.
so..if we are facing any problems..we should learn to cheer up ourselves even a bit,at least we will not feel to much burden out of it.just like what comedian Tim Allen said..if we are having a hard time..we should always learn to laugh them away..so,always cheer up yourselves guys..but,pls,do not overreacted..or else, bad ending..he3!:)

Laughter’s the Best Remedy

Groucho Marx once said, “A clown is like an aspirin, only he works twice as fast.” Indeed, research suggests that humor can minimize our perceptions of physical pain. Various theoretical explanations have been offered to explain the analgesic effects of humor, and humor’s potential role in pain therapy appears promising.

Studies exploring the role of humor in pain perception involve showing participants funny videos prior to the “cold presser task,” in which participants submerge their hand into very cold water for as long as possibleResearchers measure the time it takes before the participants declare that the task is painful, indicating “pain threshold,” and the subsequent time that they can bear the pain, known as “pain tolerance.” One study found that when participants view a humorous video, compared to neutral and negative videos in similar length and interest level, they show increased levels of pain tolerance and duration. Intrigued as to which components of appreciating humor drive this effect, another set of researchers explored whether measuring participants’ cheerful mood invoked by humor, their extent of facial expressions of humor appreciation, or their focus on the humorous content of a short clip of “Mr. Bean” differentially effected pain perception. Interestingly, all three conditions yielded increased pain tolerance to the cold presser task.

Lose weight to go GREEN..

Hi there..
The newest target of the worldwide “Go Green” campaign is obesity. Virtually everyone understands the concepts of reduce, reuse, and recycle in the context of being better stewards of the environment, but now “reduce” may mean reducing your waistline. An article recently published in the International Journal of Epidemiology, suggests that the prevalence of obesity in the population today significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.

Of the nearly 7 million people on the planet today, more than 1 billion are overweight, and 300 million are obese. Of course, overweight and obesity contribute to numerous health concerns, including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. But, do overweight and obesity cause global warming as well? The authors of the article say “yes.” They compared 2 hypothetical populations: one consisting of a “normal” adult population and one consisting of an “overweight” adult population. The “normal” population of 1 billion people had a mean body mass index (BMI) of 24.5 kg/m2 and 3.5% of the population was obese, having a BMI of greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2. (A BMI between 18 and 24.9 kg/m^2 indicates a healthy weight, and a BMI of 25 to 29.9 kg/m^2 indicates overweight.) The “overweight” population had a mean BMI of 29.0 kg/m^2 and 40% of the population was obese. The normal population demographics were based on census data from the United Kingdom in 1970, and the overweight population reflects the predicted UK population in 2010.

Harvard University's a private university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a member of the Ivy League. Founded in 1636 by the colonial Massachusetts legislature,Harvard is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and currently comprises ten separate academic units. It is also the first and oldest corporation in the United States.Initially called "New College" or "the college at New Towne", the institution was renamed Harvard College on March 13, 1639. It was named after John Harvard, a young clergyman from the London Borough of Southwark, England, who bequeathed the College his library of four hundred books and £779 (which was half of his estate), assuring its continued operation. The earliest known official reference to Harvard as a "university" occurs in the new Massachusetts Constitution of 1780.

he main campus is centered on Harvard Yard in central Cambridge and extends into the surrounding Harvard Square neighborhood. The Harvard Business School and many of the university's athletics facilities, including Harvard Stadium, are located in the city of Boston's Allston neighborhood, which is situated on the other side of the Charles River from Harvard Square. The Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and the Harvard School of Public Health are located in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston.

Actually, when i was a kid, i was dreaming to be in this university.I'm not so clever to get in in this university.

Bleeding in the brain: Killer waves of depolarization in subarachnoid bleed..

Hemorrhages in the brain are responsible for about 15% of strokes and are particularly difficult to treat. Costantino Iadecola assesses a new clinical study that may change the view of why a common form of hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, often leads to death. Massive brain lesions often develop days after the initial event, a dangerous complication previously attributed to vasospasm, narrowing of the arteries. The study suggests that these lesions may instead by caused by neuronal depolarization, extending in waves across the brain. Gregory del Zoppo explores the connection between deposition of toxic amyloid-beta peptides in the brain and hemorrhage. He discusses studies suggesting that the peptides inactivate proteins in the blood that can stop hemorrhage.

Inheritance of an Illness...

People like most other animals and plants, have two copies of every chromosome and, therefore, two copies of every gene. However, the two members of any gene pair - one inherited from the mother and the other from the father - do not necessarily have identical DNA sequences. If a person carries two different DNA sequences at a particular site on a chromosome, the person is said to be heterozygous at that site. If they are both the same, the person is homozygous at the chromosome site.

Whether a person is homozygous or heterozygous for a given gene can sometimes mean the difference between health and disease. A well-understood example of this is the inherited disease sickle cell anemia. Sickle cell disease is due to defective hemoglobin, the protein that fills red blood cells and carries oxygen. The defective protein is caused by a defect in one gene. Moreover, this defective gene must be present in two copies before the disease arises. People with only one copy of the defective gene - who are heterozygous - are usually healthy and are called "carriers."

In the United States, about 9 percent of blacks are heterozygous for sickle cell trait, while much fewer than 1 percent are homozygous and show symptoms of the disease. In some African populations, almost 45 percent of the people carry one gene for the sickle cell trait.

Scientists believe that the heterozygous condition confers some advantage to those who carry it. Scientists now know that people who are heterozygous for the sickle cell trait are more resistant to infection by the organism that causes malaria. Inhabitants of areas in Africa where malaria is most prevalent are very often carriers of the sickle cell trait. Moreover, women carriers seem to be more fertile than women who have two normal genes.

today I want to share with you about night world..Do you know about nirht world??

Night World is a series of nine young-adult fiction novels written by L. J. Smith. The series takes place in a world similar to our own but one where vampires, witches, werewolves and shape-shifters live among humans without their knowledge. These supernatural races make up a secret society known as the Night World, which enforces two fundamental laws to prevent discovery

1) Never allow humans to gain knowledge of the Night World's existence
2) Never fall in love with one of them.

series follows a different protagonist (always a teenage girl) who must face various challenges involving love, the "soulmate principle" and the Night World's strict codethe plot focuses on the protagonist discovering her soulmate and the danger which ensues. In the seventh book of the series, the concept of an impending millennial apocalypse is introduced. Although the theme of the "soul mate principle" continues to be present, the plot now focuses on the search for four "Wild Powers" who, according to an ancient prophecy, will either save the world or aid in its destruction.

If you want to know more, just read the book...and you will enjoy it

Perhaps this is my fifth comment in this respective month..
ermm.Do you know how to control your focus to maximize your energy? Here are some tips that mat helps you how to save your energy and at the same time,focus..

In biological think, actually the sum total of your energy can be divided amongst many things. It can also be tied up in your own being. Your goal, if you want to perform at a maximum level, should be to free up as much of your energy as possible.

This ties into focus because your focus can either be in or out. You direct your energy through your focus. When you are angry, depressed, or worried, your focus is internal. You have an inordinate amount of energy tied up in how you feel. When you are happy, laughing, and positive, your focus is external. Not only is none of your energy tied up in yourself, but also you generate more energy through your emotions.

Think about your body when you are filled with a negative emotion. Typically, your muscles tense up, your body contracts, and your head is down. What do all these things point to? Tense muscles means you are using energy to tense them. A contracted body requires energy to keep it contracted. And what are you doing with your head down? You are reflective, focusing on things inside your own head. All of these things use up energy that could better be used elsewhere.

Now, think about when you are positive. What is your body doing then? The body in these cases is usually loose, pumped up, and your posture is good: straight back, head up, and eyes out. In these positive times, you are projecting energy out to the world. You are not tying up energy in tension, and you are focused on all he things going on around you.

Can you recall a time where you were feeling pretty average, or even a bit down, and then suddenly you received a piece of great news? What happened to you? Did you stay slumped in your chair, feeling pretty average? I’m going to go out on a limb and say ‘No way!’ You probably got really jazzed, and wanted to run out and tell someone about it. You may have found it hard to sit in one place, when just moments before you were content to lay around. That’s positive focus (focusing on the new, great news) generating energy for you!

Try to apply this principle in your own life. If you need to be productive and efficient, focus on the positive to increase your output.;)

Do you like flower??If you like, you should know how it reproduction.

flower, something know as a bloom or blossom.that was the reproductive structure found in flowering plants. In the biological function, flower must be union between male sperm with the female ovum in order to produce seeds. It have 4 step inthe process:-
1) polination
2) fertilization
3) leading to the formation
4) dispersal of the seeds

For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. The grouping of flowers on a plant is called the inflorescence.Besides that,to serving as the reproductive organs of flowering plants, flowers have long been admired and used by humans, mainly to beautify their environment but also as a source of food.

Today I want to share with you some poem..Who was broken heart can read and feel it..
ENJOY ITS!!!...

Sometimes I ponder about what will come next
Where will my life turn when it seems to stall?
When is the next time I will smile again?
and how will I get up, should I fall?

Happiness fills me with a touch of sadness.
By that I mean I know it can't last.
Beauty decays, laughter subsides
When will the stones be cast?

Tragedy can be measured
by the amount of happiness taken away
Elusion is our only protection
As we fall victim to its prey

So when I've reached a fork in life's road
and the choices are many or few.
I follow the one that leads away from misfortune
Thats all I can really do

When life is good
You have to hold it in your hand
You have to close your eyes
You have to breathe it in!

Happiness may end
While tragedy begins
Today is the beginning
Is tomorrow the end?

This about the broken heart feel like when a part of you has died when someone break with you..Try n learn from it..
And you will feel the pain.better days lie ahead and your true love will find you when the time it coming....

I want to share with you another poem.It was love poem.
Who now was fall in love must read it and maybe can write it for somebody special...

IT NOW BEGIN!!!....

My Dreams were gold
and they would never be sold
The skies were always the clearest blue
my hopes were real, but now I feel
reality has broken through

I thought I would always have time
I felt my life was a rhyme
but now the skies have turned cloudy and gray
I lost hold of my dreams and now how funny it seems
I thought they just would be handed my way

It feels like the older my life gets
The faster it slips
Each new day just brings home the night
The candles been burned, but yet I still yearn
To reach for whats now out of sight

Maybe I will stop writing for now
and hope the answers will be found
on the journey's I take while I pray.
I will look for the light and I'll hold on so tight
To any guidance you send my way

Now Days have went past
Since I've talked to you last and inside I feel like a fool
My answers have been found in whats always been around
All I needed was you.

You showed me that dreams of past light
May no longer feel right
And now I understand why
My dreams have just changed, and that no longer seems strange
In this world I will never fly

My dreams truly were gold
and they never would be sold
But now I'm living the dream of a man
My family is at home, and tonight I will show
They they are what I have had planned

Happiness is what I sought
Fame and fortune, I never got
All the while my life feels richer than gold
My wife and children are my pleasure, my priceless treasure
Thank you God for letting me know.

hello!! today i'm gonna share with you all about literature and it's importance..literature means simply a written records of the race, including all its history and sciences,as well as its poems and novels, and in narrower sense literature is the artistic record of life and most of our writing excluded from it..a history or a science may be a literature sometimes but only when we forget the subject matter and the presentation of facts in the simple beauty of its expression..the importance of Literature is that literature is like all arts is mere play of imagination, pleasing enough like a new novel without any serious or practical importance.nothing could be farther from the truth, Literature preserves the ideals of a people and these ideal are love, faith, duty, friendship, freedom and reverence which are the part of human life most worthy of preservation..in summary we can say Literature is the expression of life in words of truth and beauty,it is the written record of man’s spirit of his thoughts, emotions, aspirations, it is the history and only the history of the human soul having characteristics of its artistic quality, its suggestiveness and its permanent qualities which will never fade..

Reading and Writing
Today science and technology has come to pervade every aspect of our lives. Computer, television and radio have almost replaced the newspaper and letter once dominated our lives. Accordingly, the issue about whether the ability to read and write is more important today may attract our attentions. It is clear that classified views have converged into two: some think reading and writing ability is more important today than in the past, while others deny its importance. As I see it, I agree with the former view without any hesitation and my choice is based on a careful consideration of the following reasons.
The main reason which may win most of people's support is that if lack the reading and writing ability, one would be considered as illiterate who has been deprived of the most basic right of human beings in the 21st century. It will be hard for us to imagine how somebody who can't read and write communicates with other people. A case in point is that one of my neighbors who is an old man and cannot read and write may only talk with others face to face. As for making friends by email and search information in newspaper, it is absolutely impossible.
The second reason I would like to point out is that people today who cannot read and write cannot even make a living. Good jobs are difficult to find because of economic depression. Nearly all the jobs require people who can read and write very well. Even if one just plans to be a driver, he must read the road sign and know where he is and where he will go.
Furthermore, the ability to read and write could bring us lots of advantages. Suppose that people who have tired out with a hard week's sweat and effort may get lots of benefits and relief from reading a short novel and broaden his horizon by appreciating a nice poem. Many friends around me would believe reading and writing some effective ways to relax themselves.
People today especially those children may find it easier for them to manipulate the mouse of the computer than to write things down by hand. Watching TV instead of reading may still occupy someone's most leisure time. Yet if all the factors I discussed above are contemplated and we are to minimize the losses and maximize the gains, it will not be hard for us to realize that the ability to read and write is more important today than in the past

Smoking
I am sure that everyone know that smoking harms your body. Then why do you continue smoking? Maybe you do it because you haven’t really become conscious about all the effects that smoking has. There are a lot of reasons why you shouldn’t smoke. Some of them are that smoking affects your health, that you spend a lot of money on cigarettes, and that when you smoke you are not respecting people around you.
The first reason why you shouldn’t smoke is that smoking affects your health. If you smoke, your physical condition will be negatively affected, so it will be very difficult for you to succeed in sports. Also, smoking produces lethal diseases like cancer and reduces the length and quality of your life. Maybe you don’t notice all the physical effects of smoking immediately, but you surely will be sorry one day.
The second reason why you shouldn’t smoke is because of all the money that you spend on it. Maybe you start smoking only when someone offers you a cigarette, but there will be a day when you will feel the need of a cigarette. By this time, you will pay whatever to smoke, and each time you will smoke more, so you will spend more money. All the money you would spend on cigars could have be spent in something better, don’t you think?
The last reason why you shouldn’t smoke is out of respect for the people around you. When you smoke, you not only harm yourself, but you also harm all the people around you. So you mustn’t be selfish; you should at least avoid smoking in front of people who don’t smoke. Also, many people don’t like the cigarette’s smell, so they won’t enjoy your company. Would you like that?
I have said just some reasons of why you shouldn’t smoke, so I hope that now those of you who smoke are able to think a little and try to make a smart decision. In addition to all the reasons I’ve said, I would like you to think about how much you love yourself and then whether you want to continue harming yourself. Think also about all the people who love you, like your family who doesn’t want to see you suffering or sick. If you decide to continue smoking, what a pity. But if you decide to stop smoking, congratulations! Remember that "If you can dream it, you can do it

ReadING for Pleasure
In the past years the use of the television and the internet has increased; this situation has caused many people to change their likes and the way that they enjoy their free time. Because of television and the internet, many people spend less time reading, so the purpose for this essay is to present reasons why people should read just for pleasure. The reasons that I give you are quite simple: to improve your knowledge, to expand your general culture, to have more fun, to make your imagination fly, to find new ways to express your ideas, and finally to expand your vocabulary.
The first reason that I give you to enjoy reading is that when you read, you can expand your knowledge and also your culture. There are a lot of good books in which you can find history, novels, tragedies, comedies and a variety of other themes. You can see that people who read more often frequently have a bigger knowledge of life and also a bigger perspective of their environment. I think that fact gives them an advantage over all others who do not read frequently.
The second reason to read more often is that through books you can have fun and even travel in your imagination. Children have not yet lost the ability of getting into their dreams, and because of this, in their first years the parents read a lot of tales in which they use their imagination. Adults should try to keep this ability, so we do not forget the importance of the use of the imagination. The imagination also represents a tool that could help you to develop your professional career in a creative way.
Finally, the third and the most important feature that reading offers you is that it does not matter the age that you have, you always could expand your vocabulary and the ways to express your ideas to the others in a simple and correct form. By the time you can improve the kind of books that you read, there are a lot of categories, so you will never stop learning from the pleasure of reading. People who know how to choose a book generally have the capability of choosing a formal book in which they can find formal grammatical structures and obviously a formal vocabulary. All these things allow them to gain greater fluency in their communication.
In conclusion, I recommend that you enjoy reading more often. There are excellent reasons for doing it; you just have to want to expand your knowledge and your culture, to improve your imagination and also your vocabulary. I know that we should evolve with the technology; that is, it is good to know how to navigate in the internet, but we must also not forget the books. Try to choose good books at the beginning, and then I ensure you that you never will stop reading.

a cough in medicine, is a sudden and often repetitively occurring defense reflex which helps to clear the large breathing passages from excess secretions, irritants, foreign particles and microbes. The cough reflex consists of three phases: an inhalation, a forced exhalation against a closed glottis, and a violent release of air from the lungs following opening of the glottis, usually accompanied by a distinctive sound. Coughing can happen voluntarily as well as involuntarily, though for the most part it is involuntarily.

Frequent or severe coughing usually indicates the presence of a disease. Many viruses and bacteria benefit by causing their host to cough, which helps to spread the disease to new hosts. Coughing is classified as acute (of sudden onset) if it is present less than three weeks, subacute if it is present between three and eight weeks, and chronic when lasting longer than eight weeks. A cough can be dry or productive, depending on whether sputum is coughed up. Most of the time, coughing is acute and caused by a respiratory tract infection. Coughing can be triggered by food entering the windpipe rather than the esophagus due to a failure of the epiglottis in patients who have difficulties swallowing. Smoking and air pollution are common causes of coughing.Provided the patient is a non-smoker and has a normal chest X-ray, the three most common causes of chronic cough are asthma, gastroesophageal reflux disease and post-nasal drip. Other causes of chronic cough include chronic bronchitis, heart failure and medications such as ACE inhibitors.

Since cough is a natural protective reflex, suppressing the cough reflex might have deleterious effects, especially if the cough is productive.Nonetheless, coughing might be severe enough (in terms of psychological, physical and social distress) to warrant treatment. This should be targeted towards the cause as much as possible, for example by smoking cessation and discontinuing ACE inhibitors. Some patients may only be worried about serious illnesses, and reassurance may suffice. Cough suppressants (or antitussives) such as codeine or dextromethorphan are frequently prescribed. Other treatment options may target airway inflammation or may promote mucus expectoration.
Cough can be a sign of respiratory tract infections such as the common cold, pneumonia, pertussis, and tuberculosis. In patients with a normal chest X-ray, tuberculosis is a rare finding. Pertussis is increasingly being recognised as a cause of troublesome coughing in adults. Cough can also worsen in an acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In dogs, kennel cough, or tracheobronchitis, can be a cause of coughing.

The common causes of chronic dry coughing include post-nasal drip, gastroesophageal reflux disease, asthma, post viral cough and ACE inhibitors. When coughing is the only complaint of a person who meets the criteria for asthma (bronchial hyperresponsiveness and reversibility), this is termed cough-variant asthma. Two related conditions are atopic cough and eosinophilic bronchitis. Atopic cough occurs in individuals with a family history of atopy, abundant eosinophils in the sputum, but with normal airway function and responsiveness. Eosinophilic bronchitis is also characterized by eosinophilia in the sputum, without airway hyperresponsiveness or an atopic background. This condition responds to treatment with corticosteroids. In patients with unexplained cough, physician should always consider the possibility of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease as the etiology of cough. An Esophageal pH Monitoring can confirm the diagnosis of the GERD and its association with cough.

Individuals who smoke often have a smoker's cough, a loud, hacking cough which often results in the expiration of phlegm. Coughing is also alleged to be caused by air pollution.

salam everyone,
As for today I would like to share with all of you on the importance of literature. As we all know, literature has already been introduced since we're in our secondary school. And some, maybe since their primary school.literature not only describes reality but also adds to it. Yes, literature is not merely a depiction of reality. It is rather a value-addition.Literary works are portrayals of the thinking patterns and social norms prevalent in society. They are a depiction of the different facets of common man's life.Classical literary works serve as a food for thought and a tonic for imagination and creativity. Exposing an individual to good literary works,is equivalent to providing him/her with the finest of educational opportunities. On the other hand, the lack of exposure to classic literary works is equal to depriving an individual from an opportunity to grow as an individual.Through reading such great literary and poetic works, that one understands life. They help a person take a closer look at the different facets of life.In many ways, it can change one's perspective towards life.Lives of brilliant achievers and individuals who have made a valuable contribution to society, are sketched in their biographies.Literature serves as an enormous information base. Research works by famous inventors and literary works by notable scientists often narrate stories of their groundbreaking discoveries and inferences. Ongoing developments in the fields of science and technology are documented so that the world can know about them.Several ancient scriptures relating stories of human evolution and narratives of human life in the those times, have been of tremendous help to mankind. Thus, literature has always served as an authentic source of information from all around the world.

Sleep is essential for a person’s health and well being, according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF).Yet millions of people do not get enough sleep and many suffer from lack of sleep.According to psychologist and sleep expert David F.Dinges,Ph.D.,of the Division of Sleep and Chronobiology, irritability, moodiness and disinhibition are some of the first signs a person experiences from lack of sleep. If a sleep-deprived person doesn’t sleep after the initial signs, said Dinges, the person may then start to experience apathy, slowed speech and flattened emotional responses, impaired memory and an inability to be novel or multitask.Everyone’s individual sleep needs vary.In general, most healthy adults are built for 16 hours of wakefulness and need an average of eight hours of sleep a night. However, some individuals are able to function without sleepiness or drowsiness after as little as six hours of sleep. Others can't perform at their peak unless they've slept ten hours. And,contrary to common myth, the need for sleep doesn't decline with age but the ability to sleep for six to eight hours at one time may be reduced.

Good day everyone,
Today i would like to post a comment on the importance of education nowadays. The importance of education is quite clear. Education is the knowledge of putting one's potentials to maximum use. One can safely say that a human being is not in the proper sense till he is educated.

This importance of education is basically for two reasons. The first is that the training of a human mind is not complete without education. Education makes man a right thinker. It tells man how to think and how to make decision.

The second reason for the importance of education is that only through the attainment of education, man is enabled to receive information from the external world; to acquaint himself with past history and receive all necessary information regarding the present. Without education, man is as though in a closed room and with education he finds himself in a room with all its windows open towards outside world.

This is why Islam attaches such great importance to knowledge and education. When the Qur'an began to be revealed, the first word of its first verse was 'Iqra' that is, read. Education is thus the starting point of every human activity.

Today the sun shines so bright that i can't even continue my wonderfull sleep and so I woke up early with a smile on my face.Ate a wonderfull brakefast with friends and lifes good today.Hoo hoo. Therefore I would like to share with you guys something important.Which is How To Break A Relationship.Hoo Hoo.Some relationships are not worth having.Whether it is time to break a relationship with a friend, family member,or acquaintance, the time is now. There are a few reasons that breaking a relationship is necessary. If you are at the point where you realize that this relationship must end their is probably good reason. So take action into your own hands and end it.Breaking a relationship is difficult, and the longer you wait the harder it will be.Well firstly,go ahead and figure out all ties that you have with this person.Whether you share possession, friends,or feelings, you must figure out what is yours and what is theirs.Although it is hard to end any relationship for any reason it must happen. It becomes more difficult the longer you wait.So figure out how you are going to end it and get it done.Whether your conversation is going to be over the phone or face to face you must be prepared. It is a good idea to list out your points.Being prepared to break the relationship is key.In most cases the other party does not want the relationship to end so you must be prepared for this.Once you have made your mind up there is no turning back.So remember this during your final conversation. No matter what they say, there is no turning back. After you conversation is finished and the relationship has been broken you are finished.Do not keep in contact. This will only lead to further dismay.

Good Day again everyone :)
As I'm doing this posting thing again and again i found it quite interesting that i was actually giving you guys some of the usefull information or maybe some usefull tips which is basically from my research.Hee.And so in this posting,i would like to again share with you guys about the importance of sharing ideas. It is important to share all your information and never hide any sort of information from anyone.if you continually give away all your ideas, you put yourself in a need to replenish your ideas. This forces you to be creative and come up with new ideas and information. Also, when you share ideas others also tell you their ideas, and this gives you access to more ideas.People who hoard information constantly seem to have stale ideas because you only get their information when they deem it is relevant to tell you about them. Therefore the more you give away and the more you share the more comes back to you and the more you ultimately learn and know.sharing is one of the biggest characteristics of successful people. To share is to concentrate on the value that you give back. Most people are focused on their own growth, own benefits, and own gains. When this happens, success does not last for long, they are unhappy, constantly challenged, both emotionally and financially, and more importantly, others do not really love and trust them.Hence, your greatest objective should be how much ‘you’ can contribute to others and how your actions can make a difference in their lives. It is only then that you achieve true happiness and fulfillment.

good news for people out there who having obesity and try to get your nice shape back.
There are lots of good obesity gyms operating nowadays, and many of them try to cater to just about everyone who might be looking for a way to get in shape and participate in an effective workout. While a general fitness center may be enough for most people, some women like specialization and prefer to workout at women's gyms Gyms that concentrate on serving only women usually offer some unique benefits over a general institute that caters to both sexes. here are some advantages:
1Practically all women's centers have systems that are tailored specifically to women. This ensures that a woman who enrolls in a females-only fitness center may expect to find that there are classes and modalities designed for the unique needs of a female's health. We all know that men and women are unequal in lots of forms, and those charachteristics include our genetics and how they work and grow muscles. Women's gyms offer females the chance to work on their bodies under the orientation of instructors and trainers who are focused on the special needs of a woman. That's a major benefit to the body-conscious female
2Women's gyms allow females to workout without the fear of being harassed by men during their exercise. As we know, there are surely many people who think that today's gyms function as modern-day singles bars, when in fact most persons -- especially women -- go to their fitness center of choice to help themselves slim down. They aren't there looking for a husband, so women's gyms give female users the chance to workout and to feel comfortable at the same time. When a woman is working out, particularly if she's not looking her best because of the effort she's making, she probably doesn't want to worry about being hit on by a man.
3It seems that generally speaking, women's gyms are smaller and more comfortable. Co-ed fitness centers (like those famous major gyms) can be huge and, at times, overwhelming. A smaller and less intimidating gym can make it easier for someone to concentrate on their conditioning without feeling overwhelmed. Women's gyms quite often strive to provide a sense of intimacy and pride themselves by being compact and efficient, with a minimum of propaganda and a premium on having a quality workout experience without making their users feel overwhelmed.
If you're a female and you're searching specifically for a fitness center that accepts women only, you're probably in luck. There are various nice women's gyms operating with a focus on female fitness these days, and frequently every {{town of any size has several top-notch facilities for women to join. Finally, the benefits of a gym that is designed for females make them a cozy and calm environment for women looking for an effective workout

I'm sure that all of us had learn about literature during sedondary school. So i would like share about i think the most interesting poem that i had learn during secondary school, There's a been death in opposite house.

In stanza 1, the persona tells us that someone has died in the house opposite his. The death occurred recently and he knows this because of the sombre atmosphere of the house. The house is said to have a numb look because the occupants of the house are numb with grief.

In stanza 2, he tells us about the goings-on at the house of the deceased. The neighbours come and go, and they try to be quiet and this is conveyed by the word “rustle”. The doctor drives away probably because there is nothing he can do. Then a window opens suddenly, mechanically. This is also how the family of the deceased behaves because they are overcome with grief.

In stanza 3, we learn that a mattress is thrown out, frightening the children who walk past the house. They wonder if the deceased died on the mattress. We learn that the persona used to do the same when he was a boy. From the last line we can infer that the persona is now a grown man. The deceased is referred to as “It” because he/she is no longer alive.

Stanza 4 describes the minister’s arrival. He appears to be stern and takes charge of the funeral arrangements.

Stanza 5 focuses on two people, the milliner and the undertaker who have come to make arrangements for the funeral. The milliner is there to take measurements to make a hat for the deceased while the undertaker, “the man of the appalling trade”, is there to take measurements for the “house” (coffin).

Stanza 6 tells us that once arrangements have been made, there will be the funeral procession (“the dark parade”) where the coffin will be taken to the cemetery on a horse-drawn carriage with the mourners following it.

Setting: The death takes place in a country town where people know one another. This is why the persona is able to recognise the people who come and go.

The theme of this poem is death is a natural occurrence. Yet, it is a sad event for those who lose a loved one (the people are numb with grief).

The tone of this poem is though the theme of this poem is death, it does not have a sad and mournful tone. The persona tells us of the goings on in a matter-of-fact manner to convey the idea that death is a natural occurrence.

The present tense is used to convey the idea that death is an everyday occurrence.

hello everyone. its me again. Eventhough all of us already enter public university like UMP, most of us still have problem studying English especially communication. Here are some tips about how to improve your english.

1.Remember that learning a language is a gradual process - it does not happen overnight.

2.Define your learning objectives early: What do you want to learn and why?

3.Make learning a habit. Try to learn something every day. It is much better to study (or read, or listen to English news, etc.) 10 minutes each day than to study for 2 hours once a week.

4.Remember to make learning a habit! If you study each day for 10 minutes English will be constantly in your head. If you study once a week, English will not be as present in your mind.

5.Choose your materials well. You will need reading, grammar, writing, speaking and listening materials

6.Vary your learning routine. It is best to do different things each day to help keep the various relationships between each area active. In other words, don't just study grammar.

7.Find friends to study and speak with. Learning English together can be very encouraging.

8.Choose listening and reading materials that relate to what you are interested in. Being interested in the subject will make learning more enjoyable - thus more effective.

9.Relate grammar to practical usage. Grammar by itself does not help you USE the language. You should practice what you are learning by employing it actively.

10.Move your mouth! Understanding something doesn't mean the muscles of your mouth can produce the sounds. Practice speaking what you are learning aloud. It may seem strange, but it is very effective.

11.Be patient with yourself. Remember learning is a process - speaking a language well takes time. It is not a computer that is either on or off!

12.Communicate! There is nothing like communicating in English and being successful. Grammar exercises are good - having your friend on the other side of the world understand your email is fantastic!

13.Use the Internet. The Internet is the most exciting, unlimited English resource that anyone could imagine and it is right at your finger tips.

Have you guys ever heard of nokia n82?The Nokia N82 is a smartphone announced by Nokia on November 14 2007. It is part of the company's Nseries line of smartphones which features the N-Gage gaming platform and the Nokia Music store (where available). The N82 runs Symbian OS v9.2 based S60 3rd Edition platform with Feature Pack 1.

The first Nokia phone with xenon flash, it has a 5 megapixel camera and is still considered the best camera phone on the market.[1][2]

The N82 includes a built-in accelerometer, for video stabilisation and photo orientation (to keep landscape or portrait shots oriented as taken). The N82 has automatic screen rotation as a standard feature. The latest available firmware version is numbered v31.0.016 and is dated December 9 2008. U.S. releases of the N82 do not support U.S. 3G frequencies (850 and 1900 MHz) and Nokia has not announced plans to release N82s in the United States which do. As a result, applications and features that require the N82 to connect to a 3G network cannot be used in the United States.

The China market version of the N82 has a different hardware platform and has the WiFi and the UMTS radio removed (i.e. no 3G support). It also has a different product code (RM-314 as opposed to RM-313) and the firmware is not compatible. It can be easily identified by the lack of the line saying "WLAN scanning" on the idle screen. This version is for mainland China only and the N82s in Hong Kong and Macau are standard APAC RM-313s with the 3G and WiFi.

Purse.
In the world of accessories, no one can dispute the fact the importance of 'the purse'. From the beginning of mankind to present day, the purse serves the purpose of carrying what the owner may need or want to have with them. With the assumption that purses are often used by women verses men, a purse reflects a woman's style and status in life. It is often considered a vital accessroy. A purse can be any color and fabric mixing in metals, gemstones, leather. The key is fashion and fuctionality, whether it be for ornate purposes tiny clutch or a large carry-on-bag. The list is quite extensive as the purpose of the purse has become more functional over time, by supporting the lifestyle of today's women.

As a man, I often wonder, what do women carry in their purses or handbags? Whether I am at a bank or in a grocery line, I have seen woman reach into their bags, digging despately for a checkbook, credit card, money, etc., signing with exasperation "I know it is in here somewhere?" of course, but where? Or "I just saw it, I know it is here!"

Unlike a man, who perfers to stuff my pockets, with keys, a wallet and money, a woman would rather have there handbag hold their worldly possessions (how ever many there may be). Did you know that a group of psychologists studied how woman carry their handbags? Apparently the way a woman carries her purse can reveal whether she is generous in spirit, easy-going in nature, careless or greedy.

yum yum.Big Apple.
Did you guys ever heard of big apple?what is the history of big apple?where does the name big apple came from?
The Big Apple is a nickname or moniker for New York City. It was first popularized in the 1920s by John J. Fitz Gerald, a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph. Its popularity since the 1970s is due to a promotional campaign by the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau, known now as NYC & Company.
Although the history of the Big Apple was once considered a mystery, research over the past two decades, primarily by noted amateur etymologist Barry Popik and Professor Gerald Cohen of Missouri University of Science and Technology, has provided a reasonably clear picture of the term's history. Prior to their work, there were a number of false etymologies,of which the most ridiculous was the claim that the term derived from a New York brothel whose madam was known as Eve. This was subsequently exposed as a hoax[6] and has been replaced on the source web site with more accurate information.
The Big Apple. The dream of every lad that ever threw a leg over a thoroughbred and the goal of all horsemen. There's only one Big Apple. That's New York.

salam,
Today i would like to share with you about food.Food is one of my favourite thing in life. What is food?Food is any substance, usually composed of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and water, that can be eaten or drunk by an animal, including humans, for nutrition or pleasure. Items considered food may be sourced from plants, animals or other categories such as fungus or fermented products like alcohol. Although many human cultures sought food items through hunting and gathering, today most cultures use farming, ranching, and fishing, with hunting, foraging and other methods of a local nature included but playing a minor role.

Most traditions have a recognizable cuisine, a specific set of cooking traditions, preferences, and practices, the study of which is known as gastronomy. Many cultures have diversified their foods by means of preparation, cooking methods and manufacturing. This also includes a complex food trade which helps the cultures to economically survive by-way-of food, not just by consumption.

Many cultures study the dietary analysis of food habits. While humans are omnivores, religion and social constructs such as morality often affect which foods they will consume. Food safety is also a concern with foodborne illness claiming many lives each year. In many languages, food is often used metaphorically or figuratively, as in "food for thought".
