i've read the book twice by Nicholas Sparks:A Walk To Remember.It also had been filmed and i watched it for 3 times alredy.Its a sweet love story that tells us about true love that will last long forever.Landon Carter, famous but rebellious student that finally fall in love with quiet,bookish girl Jamie Sullivan.Actually he has known her for many years but never realise about her existence until some incident that make them to be together.This was a great movie and the most romantic novel that ive ever read.It tell me about true and pure love that will change someone to be better.Sort of a 'miracle'.try to read it!!!

we had an assignment the last 2 days for subject fundamental engineering.at that time, we watched a video about the construction of klcc.
when i watched that video, i just realize that how really hard to achieve something that out of my mind like to build the tallest tower in the world. but all the engineers that involved during the construction of klcc prove it wrong.
the most memorable part of video was when the sky bridge have to attach between two towers. they have to lift the sky bridge between the two towers. if anything went wrong, it will be very disgraceful moment. then they decide to lift the sky bridge using 16 hydraulic. it will be the slow and dangerous process.the weather was also not on the engineers side. lightning was swoop down and seize and all the control system was closed. the construction places was dark. the sky bridge was be hanging in the middle of the air.but anything was went to succes. they succed to put the skybridge without something bad happened.
now, i'm conscious that to be a succesful engineer, i have to think out of the box and solve all the problems until i get the answer of all my problems.

i can't believe it that i'm started to write a blog again. I used to become one of the english unit blogger at my matriculation college. here I would like to share with you guys about chocolate. some of us might thought that some is not good for your health. Actually chocolate is needed to keep our body healthy. there is a chcolate that should be eaten and it is the dark chocolate. Dark chocolate contains more flavanyl than any other chocolate. Flavanyl will enhance the blood circulation and it might boost up your brain. If you are really a health-conscious person, you might wanted to know the actual quantity should be eatean. According to my research, the amount needed is about 14.23g.

I love spongebob!!!
its been a long time I never watch spongebob. I love the character of spongebob and I miss to watch him again. from him I learn how to be a good friends. he is a loyal friend and he always help his friends. most important, in whatever he do he will do it sincerely. he does not like mr.crab who only think about money, not like patrick who always disturb his friend and make trouble and also not like squidword that always be selfish. I think that is a great cartoon to watch. and for me I always love that cartoon as it teach me a lot and I know that some of my friend also like to watch that cartoon.

when I get upset or angry,chocs can neutralise my feeling..seriously..try it..from my reading, chocolate contain flavonoids which act as antioxidant.antioxidant can protect body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that lead to heart diseases.falvonoids also help relax blood pressure through the production of nitric acid and balance certain hormone in the body.Thats why it can reduce our anger or stress...

i want to share something about yakuza...or...the Japanese mafia...

Yakuza also known as gokudō are members of traditional organized crime syndicates in Japan, and also known as "violence groups"...

yakuza have their own rituals...

one of them is Yubitsume,or finger-cutting, is a form of penance or apology. Upon a first offense, the transgressor must cut off the tip of his left little finger and hand the severed portion to his boss. Sometimes an underboss may do this in penance to the oyabun if he wants to spare a member of his own gang from further retaliation...

Many Yakuza have full-body tattoos. These tattoos, known as irezumi in Japan, are still often "hand-poked," that is, the ink is inserted beneath the skin using non-electrical, hand-made and hand held tools with needles of sharpened bamboo or steel. The procedure is expensive and painful and can take years to complete...

one thing that i really like about yakuza is their style...their hair style...their hair style is cool and tidy...

i wish my hair style just like them one day...

hehehe...

I want to share about this horror book with title "The Last Vampire" by Christopher Pike.It is about the life of one vampire,named Sita that have been the vampire for 5000 year life and the interesting part is that she do not grow older by her age. Emm as all knows, vampire suck human blood to maintain their beauty and human look.She can stay out during the day, but it is incredibly difficult until she aged a couple thousand years.One day,Sita falls in love with the handsome Ray, and soon after she realizes that Ray looks alike of her long dead husband, Rama.But there is also a tragic part that when the first vampire named Yaksha finally tracks her down, he mortally wounds Ray, forcing Sita to save him by turning him into a vampire. It's a bit sad story that actually Sita be a vampire without her willingness.Actually she want to save her husband and son life from the cruel Yaksha. What a great woman! I've read this book so many times when I am in KMKN,but someone informed me that there are many series of the book that I should read but till now, I haven't found any series of it even in UMP's library..;) but sometime, I seek about it in web but the truth is, I don't really like to read novel by internet. I think that;s all..If you're interested to know more, do chat with me or read it use this link.

now, i would like to share among all of you about a woman name Susan Boyle. Her name was just came to international public attention in early 2009 after she appeared as a contestant on Britain's Got Talent. She was become known when she sang I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misarables in this competition.If you are You Tube maniac, you can see thousands of people watched her video when she sang I Dreamed a Dream.
I just really impress what she say in The Sunday Time, " Modern society is too quick to judge people on their appearances. [...] There is not much you can do about it; it is the way they think; it is the way they are. But maybe this could teach them a lesson, or set an example".
Susan Boyle could be one of the example of this cruel world that only judge people based on their appearance. And she also a woman who shut up Simon Cowell and all people around the world.

Again, again and again.. When will this virus get out of our life..Something that will be ruined human life!.. Today, I've read about the next victim of H1N1..he's died yesterday.. He is 46 years old Malaysian who worked in Belgium. he have died from severe pneumonia with respiratory failure and acute renal failure, seven days after being treated at the intensive-care unit of a private hospital in Subang Jaya.(New Straits Times Online)

So,guys,what can we conclude here is that we should take a really good care of our health especially now in college. This is because we mixed with many friends from different background.Besides, our parents now apart with us and cannot take care of us.So, we should aware and quickly go to the hospital if we got the H1N1 symptoms.

Symptoms:
* Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
* Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
* Sudden dizziness
* Confusion
* Severe or persistent vomiting
* Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough

With this, I hope my comments can aware you about H1N1. Healthy first!!

H1N1 alert!!

Ways to protect yourself!!

1. Stay informed.
2.Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
3.Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
4.Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
5.If you are sick with a flu-like illness,hurry have a medical check up.

Do you know that Japanese language is a combination of three types of script??? They are kanji, hiragana and katakana. But in modern Japanese, Latin alphabet called romaji is used. Japanese words were borrowed from Chinese, English, Portuguese and Dutch. Wow! Lots of borrowing there... For numbers, western style arabic numerals and traditional Sino-Japanese are used widely by the Japanese.

Hi...
It's me again. I feel like sharing my experience going to Pekan for the first time. If you are at Gambang, you will be surrounded by forest but in Pekan you are living in the desert. Though, there are two lakes but I guess nobody was dare enough to jump into the lakes. Unless that person is really bored to death. It was boring though, really. If you enter the male 'surau', you can see all the bodies of the 'syahid's lying on the floor that it was really hard to walk in there. Haha. Just an expression to tell you how boring Pekan really was.

Noon there was literally on fire. We could feel the heat and on the "desert", you can see the heat vapour rising.

One good thing, the scenery on the way to Pekan was magnificent. You can see the sea (I think) when you are about to enter the campus. That made me missed my 'kampung', with the trees and all... Huhu...

Specially for Session M06:
Friendship is co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people.Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other are what friends share between each other. These are just the general traits of a friendship. To experience what is friendship, one must have true friends, who are indeed rare treasure.Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyathly towards each other.They will also engage in mutually helping behavior such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship.Best friend is one who accepts the good as well bad qualities of his friend and also takes an initiative in correcting and mending them. The human survival is based on friendship. From the highest authority to the lowest bums living on the streets all of them have experienced in some way or the other one of these different kinds of friendships.

Dolphins are marine mammals that are closely related to whales and porpoises.I love dolphins since childhood.It is glad to know that dolphins are considered to be amongest the most intelligent of animals and their often friendly appearance and seemingly playful attitude have made them popular in human culture. Do you know that their perception of sound extends ten times or more above the upper limit of adult human hearing?Though they have a small ear opening on each side of their head, it is believed that hearing underwater is also if not exclusively done with the lower jaw which conducts the sound vibrations to the middle ear.Furthermore,dolphins have no sense of smell but they still can taste and do show preferences for certain kinds of fish. In fact,it is due to dolphins spend most of their time below the surface.By just tasting the water could act in a manner analogous to a sense of smell.It is amazing,right?Generally, dolphins sleep with only one brain hemisphere in slow-wave sleep at a time, thus maintaining some amount of consciousness required to breathe and keeping one eye open to keep a watch out for possible threats.

i want to share with all of you, friends, about an article that I have read. The title is "WHY THEY ARGUE ON HIJAB"

The wearing of Hijab is the Islam's rule which is ignored by Muslim women.Some people argue that, wearing a hijab is an individual freedom. Even they know that it is compulsory to cover their aurah, but they still neglect to obey the obligation.

Someone say that wearing hijab is as 'uniform' to muslimah or and Islamic identity..another said that by wearing hijab, it is to diffrentiate between man and animal.

Actualy, this Islam's rule is to gives an appreciation to woman.Women require to express their thankful to Allah and should question about this rule.

Also, wearing hijab is the best way to avoid from any disturbing such as sexual harrassment and getting involved in adultery.. nau'zubillah...

hijab is my choice,not compulsion.
hu..hu..hu..

question: do Sumaiyyah ummu Amar bin Yasir wear hijab??

answer: No..Why????

Influenza A(H1N1) virus is a subtype of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of influenza (flu) in humans.
There are alots of institutes of higher learning and National Services training camp close due to H1N1 signalling that the flu in the country is worsening.Will UMP becomes one of it?Yes,it is...Everyone must be responsible and on high alert. This is a pandemic season now.I think no one hope to be quarantined on campus.If you have flu and cough, take it seriously!You are advisable to wear mask, take care of your personal hygiene and try to practice social distancing if you were having sore throat and cough.For those with flu-like symptoms must go to the hospital and if confirmed to have with H1N1, they should take Tamiflu.The symptoms of H1N1 (swine) flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.also,some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with H1N1 (swine) flu.

Pahang at last has its own local-bred university when Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Malaysia or KUKTEM, was renamed and accorded full university status by the Higher Education Ministry on the 1st February 2007.The present UMP campus is temporarily located at Gambang, occupying the industrial complex premises of the closed down MEC electronics company.Next year our university will re-locate to its new campus, now still under construction, at Kuala Pahang, Pekan. We as a FKM's students had been start study at Pekan new campus this week.I found this as a great experience that we are having the chance to know about the progress of building a campus.Its is great that our new campus is located near to the seaside.wow...I am looking forward for more surprising events.Although there are many students complaint about the tiredness,besides that they are enjoyable with the new study environment too.Nothing much to say,well plan your time,everything will be okay,right?Hopefully we will having the chance to move in to the new campus as fast as possible.

Well..Since UMP going to close for one week time..our prensentation(1st assignment)will be postponed.However,i am going to share with you all about some points of views on how to deliver a good presentation. Firstly,you must understand the audience-about their needs, their background, and the place where your presentation will be delivered.Be clear in your opening statement.Each slide should normally contain around 25-35 words.Each slide should have clear heading.A lively speaking style captures attention, makes the material more interesting, and facilitates understanding.Smiling is often contagious and others will react favorably. They will be more comfortable around you and will want to listen to you more.When possible, relate your topic to other fields.The last slide should set out all appropriate contact details.This is what we should do in order to deliver a better and outstanding presentation.Bear in mind to stay calm.Always make eye contact with the audience. All the best..M06..

Hello...

Why are they giving this holiday to us? It is like giving us a present but take it back.

It is fine for them to give us holiday but they don't have to use our semester holiday. I know H1N1 is getting worse in UMP but maybe, just maybe they can give us holiday and they don't have to use our semester break. Haha... I don’t know if this break is good or bad for us. I guess since we do have a lot of assignment to be pass up next week and with the holiday, all assignment due date will be postpone. That is the bright side of it .

H1N1 do bring chaos to all the students in UMP. It cause a lot of buzz in KK2. Everywhere people were talking about it.

What UMP did was good though, with giving out the face mask and doing medical check-up on students as early precautions.

I would say though not all students care enough to wear the mask. Maybe they should take a more drastic move by making it compulsory for all the students to wear the mask.

Hope they won't close our beloved UMP...

I read this evening in a magazine about Micheal Jackson. Even after his death, people worships him. It was his presence when he was alive that made people really love him. I mean, they even willing bought tickets to watch a concert held for his memorials.

What I am trying to say here is how someone's charisma can make people remember them well even after someone is forever gone.

That picture was taken during autumn , all the plants are start withered and yellow . This picture make me feel that i'm alone ,helpless , desolate and sadness.Maybe those feels are because of I'm in a whole new environment which I still can't use to it. Tomorrow we will have to go back to UMP...hope that everyone is free from H1N1 and can continue our study as usual..

Here, I would like to share a story from a novel that i've read during H1N1 holiday.It is The Tenth Circle and it is written by Jodi Picoult.. Seriously, i am too lazy to study and doing assignment at home,and maybe tomorrow will be my extremely busy day to finish up all the assignment..

This novel is about a father, named Daniel Stone. He is a responsible father and nice.He has married and have a beautiful daughter named Trixie.He has always been close to his daughter as he is staying at home to look after Trixie while his wife pursued her career as a top level academic. But without notice, recently, Trixie is gone,and she is in a stranger place.

Until one night,Trixie comes home from a party and claiming that she was raped, and the man she is accused was her boyfriend. Daniel become shocked and think what should he do as Trixie accuse her boyfriend as rapist.He has no doubt, he think that his daughter is innocent and this thing should not be happen as the girl is only 14. He should protect the girl from this thing.He has failed to protect her once and he is so regret. After that, he will do anything to save her...

From my point of view, actually Daniel Stone is a good father but not so good. He is trying very best to be a responsible father but only after he knew that his little girl has been raped. Pity to Daniel as he have to take care all of his own as his wife is not around, and to raise a daughter is not easy..(as my mum also said that to me..;))

That's all.

Friends, do you like to enjoy BBQ? Of course yes, right??hu2
But, do you know that cooking meat over an open flame creates chemicals long suspected increasing cancer risk.Eating barbecued meat may raise the risk of prostate cancer in men and breast cancer to women.

Therefore, make sure all of you take these tips when enjoying BBQ.

*scrape off any charred portions, which contain many of the chemicals belived to lead to cancer.

*keep the temperature lower to lessen the smoke and flames that reach the food .

*flip with spatula-fork pierces food, releasing juice and fat that lead to flare-ups.

*choose skinless chicken and fish.They dont appear to raise cancer risk.

*microwave meat before barbecuing to reduce time over the charcoal.

but,i once read from an article(forgotten the source)..korean & japanese males today also tend to straighten their hair by applying special chemical gel(or chemical whatever)on it..:D however the effect of these chemical substance actually depends on its suitability with the user's scalp or the hair itself..if the chemical works well with the scalp or hair of the user,yup..the user will end up looking great or whatever.
On the other hand..if the chemical doesn't react well..Hurmm,i suppose u guys can already think what are the consequences..i don't have to mention it...

What is Metallic Hydrogen?

Metallic hydrogen results when hydrogen is sufficiently compressed and undergoes a phase change; it is an example of degenerate matter.Solid metallic hydrogen consists of a crystal lattice of atomic nuclei.The electrons are unbound and behave like the conduction electrons in a metal. In 2008, Shanti Deemyad and Isaac F.Silvera had metalized Hydrogen-rich alloy SiH and found to be superconducting.

Function of Metallic Hydrogen.

It is possible to use metallic hydrogen as fuel. Fuel as in to power up things. It may be possible to produce substantial quantities of metallic hydrogen for practical purposes. The existence has been theorized of a form called ‘Metastable Metallic Hydrogen’,which would not immediately revert to ordinary hydrogen upon the release of pressure. In addition, ‘MSMH’ would make an efficient fuel itself and also a clean one, with only water as an end product. Nine times as dense as standard hydrogen, it would give off considerable energy when reverting to standard hydrogen. Burned more quickly, it could be a propellant with five times the efficiency of liquid H2/O2, the current Space Shuttle fuel.

Today, I would like to share with all of you guys about color. I am sure all of us have their own meaning and intention on at least one color that attract them.

Color or can be colour...
The meaning of color is the visual perceptual property corresponding in humans to the categories called red, yellow, blue and others.

What information do you know about color..? As for me,color is something that attract us,and I also have my favourite color.Color also sometimes can give their own meaning especially about our personality. In addition, color also help students to understand more on their study with the variety of colors.
I have read the info about color in the brain in wikipedia. A dominant theory of color vision proposes that color information is transmitted out of the eye by three opponent processes, that is, each of the opponent will constructed from the raw output of the cones.
There is 3 opponent colors in brain which is red-green channel, a blue- yellow channel and a black-white channel.This info also been supported by neurobiology.
It also explains why we cannot perceive a "reddish green" or "yellowish blue," and it predicts the color wheel, which is, it is the collection of colors for which at least one of the two color channels measures a value at one of its extremes.

-xX TaeKwonDo Xx-

Taekwondo a Korean martial art and the national sport of South Korea.In Korean, 'tae' means 'to strike or break with foot'. 'Kwon' means 'to strike or break with fist'. 'Do' means 'way' or 'method'. So "taekwondo" can be translated as "the way of the foot and fist" or "the way of kicking and punching". It combines combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise, meditation and philosophy. Taekwondo is also used by the South Korean military as part of its training.

Formally, there are two main styles of taekwondo.One comes from the Kukkiwon, the source of the sparring system sihap gyeorugi which is now an event at the summer Olympic Games and which is governed by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).he other comes from the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF). There is also a more recent form called Songham Taekwondo or the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) and other variations of it such as STF (Songham Taekwondo Federation) and WTTU (World Traditional Taekwondo Union). Their 'Patterns' or 'Taegeuk' are also differ from one another. Basically, a taekwondo practitioner can recognize another practitioner which association are they from based on their 'patterns' or their fighting style.

Salam ramadan....
What is very common thing that cross in our mind as I said Ramadhan.It is fasting! ha!! do you fasting today??

Now, I would like to share with you guys on HEALTH benefits of fasting..

What is fasting?..
Fasting technically commences within the first twelve to twenty-four hours of the fast. A fast does not chemically begin until the carbohydrate stores in the body begin to be used as an energy source. The fast will continue as long as fat and carbohydrate stores are used for energy, as opposed to protein stores. Once protein stores begin to be depleted for energy ,a person is technically starving.

Benefits of fasting.First,is the healing process that begins in the body during a fast. During a fast, energy is diverted away from the digestive system due to its lack of use and towards the metabolism and immune system.This is also one reason that animals stop eating when they are wounded, and why humans lose hunger during influenza. Hunger has been proven absent in illnesses such as gastritis. Therefore, when one is fasting, the person is consciously diverting energy from the digestive system to the immune system.

Secondly,there is also a reduction in core body temperature. This is a direct result of the slower metabolic rate. So,a probability that a person will ill when they are fasting is reduce.Growth hormones are also released during a fast, due to the greater efficiency in hormone production.

Lastly,the most proven advantage to fasting is the feeling of rejuvenation and extended life expectancy. A slower metabolic rate, more efficient protein production, an improved immune system, and the increased production of hormones contributes to this long-term benefit of fasting.

I think that's all.Enjoy the reading and lets fasting together as it help a lot in our maintaining
the good health.

-xX Guitars Xx-

Guitar is a musical instrument with ancient roots that adapts readily to a wide variety of musical styles. It typically has six strings, but four-, seven-, eight-, ten-, eleven-, twelve-, thirteen- and eighteen-string guitars also exist. The size and shape of the neck and the base of the guitar also vary, producing a variety of sounds. The three main types of guitars are the electric guitar, the classical guitar, and the acoustic guitar. Sometimes the last two are put in the same category.

Guitars are recognized as one of the primary instruments in flamenco, jazz, blues, country, mariachi, rock music, and many forms of pop. They can also be a solo classical instrument. Guitars may be played acoustically, where the tone is produced by vibration of the strings and modulated by the hollow body, or they may rely on an amplifier that can electronically manipulate tone.But..Electric guitars were only intoduced in the 1930's and they have continued to have a profound influence on popular culture since then.
There are many brands of guitars, but some commonly known brands are Fender, Gibson, Dean, Gretsch, Ibanez, Martin, Jackson, Schecter, Taylor, Paul Reed Smith, B.C. Rich, ESP and Yamaha.

Ibanez is the like one used by Yuna-Malaysian Artist(there's a lot of other ibanez series actually)

ESP and Yamaha are the most common brand to be used by those who just wanted to get started with electric guitar.

Hello! I am Loh from M06.

The topic that I want to share with you today is my interest , fishing.

Even though I had already addicted to fishing long time ago , but today is the first time for me to explore the Wikipedia web site and find the real meaning of fishing and the history of fishing.

Fishing is an activity to catch aquatic animals such as fish ,shellfish, crustaceans, and echinoderms. This term is not usually applied to catching aquatic mammals such as whales.

Fishing activity already began about 40,000 years ago.The main purpose of fishing during ancient is more to survive ,but now a days , human being started take fishing as a sport.

Whats happening now is the quantity of the fishes are decrease sharply , so we have to do something to protect our beautiful fishes and our environment.

Thank you.

adzmil aziz m06 said...

assalamualaikum...The understanding about something would make us to appreciate it more. So, I like to share about al khawarizmi contribution specifically on mathematic that is al jabr (algebra).The term algebra is derived from the name of one of the basic operations with equations (al-jabr).
The al-jabr is considered the foundational text of modern algebra. It provided an exhaustive account of solving polynomial equations up to the second degree,[ and introduced the fundamental methods of "reduction" and "balancing", referring to the transposition of subtracted terms to the other side of an equation, that is, the cancellation of like terms on opposite sides of the equation.

Al-khawarizmi method of solving linear and quadratic equations worked by first reducing the equation to one of six standard forms (where b and c are positive integers)

squares equal roots (ax2 = bx)
squares equal number (ax2 = c)
roots equal number (bx = c)
squares and roots equal number
(ax2 + bx = c)
squares and number equal roots
(ax2 + c = bx)
roots and number equal squares
(bx + c = ax2)

by dividing out the coefficient of the square and using the two operations al-gabr(“restoring” or “completion”) and al-muqabala ("balancing"). Al-gabr is the process of removing negative units, roots and squares from the equation by adding the same quantity to each side. For example, x2 = 40x − 4x2 is reduced to 5x2 = 40x. Al-muqabala is the process of bringing quantities of the same type to the same side of the equation. For example, x2 + 14 = x + 5 is reduced to x2 + 9 = x.t is important to understand just how significant this new idea was. It was a revolutionary move away from the Greek concept of mathematics which was essentially geometry. Algebra was a unifying theory which allowed rational numbers, irrational numbers, geometrical magnitudes, etc., to all be treated as "algebraic objects". It gave mathematics a whole new development path so much broader in concept to that which had existed before, and provided a vehicle for future development of the subject. Another important aspect of the introduction of algebraic ideas was that it allowed mathematics to be applied to itself in a way which had not happened before.

In the 17th century, the scholar Robert Burton's The Anatomy of Melancholy argued that music and dance were critical in treating mental illness, especially melancholia.He noted that music has an "excellent power ...to expel many other diseases" and he called it "a sovereign remedy against despair and melancholy".Now,i totally proved that the statement is true.Music can heal emotional problem inside human.If u guys want to know more about music, u can go to this website:

Languages of Frances.

French language is one of the language that widely used around the world.The French language is by far the most widely spoken and the only official language of France, but several regional languages are also spoken to varying degrees. Other languages are spoken by a substantial percentage of the population due to immigration. The map to the right includes the French-speaking Belgium or Wallonia in the north-east (the Walloon language is spoken almost solely in Wallonia) and some small parts of the sprachraum of the Picard language, a (smaller) part of that of the Lorrain language and a very small area of that of the Champenois language.

The topic of the teaching of regional languages in public primary and secondary schools is controversial. Proponents of the measure state that it would be necessary for the preservation of those languages and to show respect to the local culture. Opponents contend that local languages are often non-standardised (thus making curricula difficult), of dubious practical usefulness (since most are spoken by a small number of people, without any sizable corpus of publications) and that the curriculum and funding of public schools are already too strained. The topic also leads to wider controversial questions of autonomy of the régions. Regarding other languages, English and Spanish are the most commonly studied foreign languages in French schools.

I think learning French language is interesting because their pronounciation is a little bit different with any other language.

Short Story On Friendship

Long time ago in ancient Greece, there live a man named Socrates, who was highly knowledgeable and an esteemed philosopher. One fine day, a fellow approached him. That person told Socrates that he has some information to tell him about his friend. Before he could even start talking about his friend, Socrates told him to take a test known as the 'Triple Filter Test'.

The first test of the 'Triple Filer Test' was the filter of truth. Socrates asked him if the information he had was the truth. The person said that he had just heard it on the way and was not sure if it was the absolute truth. The second filter was that of goodness. He asked if the information was regarding anything good about his friend. The man said it was actually the opposite. The third filter was that of usefulness. Socrates asked if the information was useful to him in any way. The man replied in the negative.

Socrates then replied that when the information regarding a friend is not true, good or useful, then why it should be conveyed at all. The moral of the story is that you may always participate in loose gossip, but when it comes to your friends ,it is just not worth it. You know your friends better than others. Therefore, you must avoid talking behind the back of your dearest friends. It only leads to strained relations and shows that you are not reliable or trustworthy as a friend.

Acknowledging The Benefits of Coffee
There are many people who have made coffee a regular part of their daily routine and lifestyle. They can't seem to live without it. They are those who look forward to their first cup of coffee as soon as they wake up in the morning. They are the habitués of coffee shops day-in and day-out.
The increasing number of coffee “addicts” have also raised concerns about the possible effects of coffee on the body, and whether or not caffeine causes harm to ones health. While some people acknowledge the beneficial effect of coffee when you have a headache, others claim that it's bad to drink coffee if you have stomach problems.

The general effects of coffee fall into the following categories:

* as stimulant – caffeine makes coffee a well-established stimulant as it stimulates the nervous system, including the nerves controlling intestinal activity, blood pressure and airway size which may keep you alert and awake, yet may also impair sleep, cause jitters and anxiety.

* as heartburn trigger – all types of coffee, even decaf, can stimulate secretion of stomach acid, which may lead to heartburn.

* as diuretic – caffeine encourages the kidneys to produce urine to rid the body of excess fluid. However, coffee leads to urination so effectively that it may cause mild dehydration.

In addition to yellowing of teeth which are common among regular coffee drinkers, burn injuries from steaming hot coffee are very common. Some mental health professionals even suggest that regular caffeine users, including coffee drinkers, should be considered dependent, addicted or struggling with substance abuse.

The therapeutic effects of caffeine includes:

* treating premature babies or those who have undergone surgery just after birth with caffeine to stimulate their breathing.

* Some over-the-counter headache or pain relief medication include caffeine, acetaminophen and aspirin. The effectiveness of these agents may be linked, at least in part, to the treatment of caffeine withdrawal, a common cause of headaches.

* Several studies found modest benefits with caffeine in the treatment of asthma as it gives dilating effects on airways. In fact, some recommend that coffee intake be avoided before breathing tests so as not to diminish the breathing abnormalities which the tests aim to detect.

* During the Experimental Biology 2007, an American Society for Nutrition's annual conference, research experts reviewed evidence that moderate intake of coffee, say 3 to 5 cups per day, might reduce the risk of diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, kidney stones, gallstones, and depression.

Since coffee causes minimal and rare health risks, the vast population of coffee lovers welcome the good news..

Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction

In the mid 1950s, Dr. Bedford reported on a number of older adults who exhibited cognitive problems (memory or planning or being able to sustain attention) following surgery where anesthesia was used. This effect is now called postoperative cognitive dysfunction (or decline; POCD). POCD typically lasts for a few months to a year with a small minority of patients exhibiting permanent decline. Studies about it were few at first, with most focusing on cognition following cardiac surgery. Over time and especially more recently, there has been an increase in research of POCD following non-cardiac surgeries (e.g., abdominal or orthopedic) as well as continued interest in POCD following cardiac surgery..

Are you experiencing hair loss or thinning hair? Losing your hair can be very stressful, especially for women.
Here are some effective methods to get back your hair.

1)take vitamins
Folic acid is essential in promoting healthy cell growth. The cell growth will cause healthy skin and hair regeneration. Vitamin E facilitates blood circulation. The B vitamins are big contributors to melanin, an essential element in giving your hair its color. Vitamin C helps in improving scalp circulation.

2)Using herbs and Essential oils
Saw Palmetto, Nettle Root, Panax Ginseng, aglae extract, and green tea are all herbs that have been proven effective to stop hair loss. Also, many oils and extracts, such as lavender and soybean extract, will stimulate your hair growth and prevent it from falling. Some of the best oils to regrow hair are Jojoba, Rosemary, and Basil oil.

3)Taking anti hair-loss supplements
There are many supplements out there which claim to stop hair loss and regrow your hair back, but not all of them work. Before buying any supplement, you need to check whether or not its ingredients are approved by the FDA. The supplement should contain at least a good blend of B vitamins, Saw Palmetto, silicon dioxide, pumpkin extract,magnesium, and zinc.

i hope these methods could help u all especially girls with hair fall problem....

gastric pain..
The kind of pain coming from an empty stomach instead of the intestine.you will feel painful, hungry, and a little nauseous.protein digestion begins in the stomach.by stimulating the Vagus nerve, which in turn causes the stomach to produce hydrochloric acid for the digestion of protein.feeling full early in a meal so I eat less.feeling hungry often so I eat less but more meals.
Losing weight which is good!
Chronic tiredness. I feel very helpless when I am tired.my mind wants to get up but my body tells me not to.

Symptoms of Dumping Syndrome: Symptoms of rapid gastric emptying include:

* diarrhea
* cramping
* palpitations
* nausea
* vomiting
* bloating
* dizziness
* tiredness.
Treating Dumping Syndrome:
Treatments for rapid gastric emptying include:

* diet: A low-carbohydrate diet based on eating “little and often” is the main treatment for managing rapid gastric emptying.

* medication: Medicines that slow digestion, in combination with dietary changes, are sometimes recommended for the treatment of severe cases.

* liquid intake: Patients with dumping syndrome are advised to drink between rather than during meals.

* surgery: Severe cases of rapid gastric emptying may require corrective surgery.

See, now I have a valid reason to go on a low carbo diet. heh heh

Twitter? Have you guys familiar with twitter? Well Im sure at least you already heard a little bit about it before right.So in this post i would like to tell you guys or maybe introduce you guys to Twitter.Twitter is also a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets.Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or,by default,allow open access.Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website,Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications.Since its creation in 2006 by Jack Dorsey,Twitter has gained notability and popularity worldwide.It is sometimes described as the "SMS of the Internet"since the use of Twitter's application programming interface for sending and receiving short text messages by other applications often eclipses the direct use of Twitter.Twitter has also been described as akin to a Web-based Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client.As a social network, Twitter revolves around the principle of followers.When you choose to follow another Twitter user,that user's tweets appear in reverse chronological order on your main Twitter page.If you follow 20 people,you'll see a mix of tweets scrolling down the page: breakfast-cereal updates, interesting new links,music recommendations,even musings on the future of education.

Today i would like to give some guide on how to choose the right laptop.Most of us tend to think of laptops in the same way,a fairly small portable computer that can open and close like a suitcase,with all of the capabilities of a desktop.In fact,the term “laptop” is really very generic.There are currently four main styles of these portable PCs,each offering something a bit different,depending upon your specific needs.Actually,finding a laptop is very easy.Just select your budget,manufacturer,notebook type,product line or other options such as RAM,hard drive or weight, and your choice will be narrowed down.Well first of all,Pick up the laptops at the store.Ask to have them unlocked if necessary.Choose one that feels sturdy,solid and not too heavy.Then,try the keyboard.Since you can't replace it except with the exact same item,make sure you're comfortable with its touch and responsiveness.Test it on a desk and on your lap.Test the pointing device,track pad or track ball,the laptop alternatives to a mouse.Some of these can be hard to master.Check if the computer's bottom gets uncomfortably hot when it's running,a problem if you actually use the laptop on your lap.Pay attention to screen size and resolution.Current liquid-crystal display (LCD) screens on laptops measure from 13 to 21 inches diagonally.Screen resolution may be as low as 800 x 600 pixels or as high as 1600 x 1200.The more pixels,the crisper the screen image.View the screen in a variety of settings.A screen that looks great in normal room lighting can look terrible in bright or dim light.Choose a laptop with at least two USB 2 connections and at least one Firewire (IEEE1394) connection. USB 2 and Firewire are very popular and fast ways of connecting iPods,digital cameras and some phones to computers.Makesure you check to see if the laptop has built in wireless capabilities,most do these days.And then,check to see if the laptop has a DVD Burner.That makes backing up documents,music files and pictures a snap because of the high capacity of the discs. And lastly look for cables that secure the laptop to a desk.Install software that disables a stolen laptop,or better yet,reports the laptop's location when it connects to the Internet.

2 post to go..Today I want to talk on medical plastics...
Coping with university life can be a quite a mind-boggling event for the average student. Those in a committed relationship now experience long distance love possibly for the first time and then there are those who are coming from home of mom and dad and are suddenly on their own for the first time.

How to feel good before entering the university?? Check out!!

step 1:Check out the map of your university campus and find the social student center. Sometimes this is called the student union, while at other times it might be referred to as the study hub.

step2:Discuss your fears and concerns with your significant other. Long distance relationships are possible and, with social networking and text messaging more popular than ever, communicating frequently is easy.

step3:Get the buzz about the classes you are about to take and the professors who will be teaching them. Know ahead of time which teachers are tough, but fair; which will give good grades as long as you spout back their political point of view and which require copious research and report writing.

step4:Keep open your door of communication with the people who love you the most and who are unselfishly looking out for you. This could be your mom or dad or both or a sibling, a family member, or a high school mentor or teacher; it does not matter who it is. Stay open and honest with them about what you are thinking, feeling and experiencing. They might be able to guide you into the right direction if you find that you are experiencing uncertainties.

step5:Learn new ways of stress management, such as meditation, yoga, or anything else that helps you to feel relaxed and at ease, even when life gets a bit hectic. Before long your nervousness and fears about how to cope with university life will all but vanish.

that's all..goodluck!!

Dental implants...
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that a periodontist places into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

While high-tech in nature, dental implants are actually more tooth-saving than traditional bridgework, since implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support.

Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you ever lost a tooth.You know that your confidence about your teeth affects how you feel about yourself, both personally and professionally. Perhaps you hide your smile because of spaces from missing teeth. Maybe your dentures don't feel secure. Perhaps you have difficulty chewing. If you are missing one or more teeth and would like to smile, speak and eat again with comfort and confidence, there is good news! Dental implants are teeth that can look and feel just like your own! Under proper conditions, such as placement by a periodontist and diligent patient maintenance, implants can last a lifetime. Long-term studies continue to show improving success rates for implants.
This implants is suitable for patient that have problems with their teeth.Maybe it is quite pain,but the long term effects is for their own good sake.. For those who have their problem with their teeth,check out with this solution..
Goodluck... bubyee

JEALOUSY ..
Overcoming jealousy is like changing any emotional reaction or behavior.It begins with awareness. Awareness allows you to see that the projected stories in your mind are not true.When you have this clarity you no longer react to the scenarios that your mind imagines.Jealousy and anger are emotional reactions to believing scenarios in your mind that are not true.By changing what you believe you change what your imagination is projecting and you can eliminate these destructive emotional reactions.Even when there is justification for the reaction,jealousy and anger are not beneficial ways to deal with the situation and get what we want.
The steps to permanently end jealous reactions are:
1) Recovering personal power so that you can get control of your emotions and refrain from the reactive behavior.
2) Shift your point of view so that you can step back from the story in your mind.This will give you a gap of time in which to refrain from a jealous or angry reaction and do something else.
3) Identify the core beliefs that trigger the emotional reaction.
4) Become aware that the beliefs in your mind are not true. This is different than “knowing” intellectually that the stories are not true.
5) Develop control over your attention so you can consciously choose what story plays in your mind and what emotions you feel.
