Assalamualaikum and good evening (since I’m writing this blog comment at night)
This will be my first blog post and to test out my profile at Google, before I started mumbling to other things that are not related let me get straight to the point.
There was a newsletter arrive at my inbox on July 03, 2009 from Code Project since I subscribe it. The newsletter subject was “No to SQL? Anti-database movement gains steam”. And it was very shocking for me, as a computer student SQL was one of the programming language that we learned in order to understand database, and the reason why is because my effort to score for this subject was wasted because somebody is starting revolution in the computer industry and make a fool of people that study and work with database.
But after reading the news article I gain a new insight of this movement, the word database maybe obsolete one day, but as we made discoveries and gain new knowledge it is inevitable for a revolution to happen. The new concept of this movement not only creates opportunity for the smaller company to gain a new way to store data, but also manage data up to 6 petabytes of data (petabytes is the next count in storing data after terabytes). Since the movement also promoting the new database system in open source, there’s a chance that small and medium enterprise can save a lot of money in term of licensing. It also means the design of the database will be more independent thus allowing more support from the current SQL.
But for now I think that we shouldn’t ditch the current technology just because this movement is gaining more popularity in the IT world, but as a student we must at least know what is going on, adapt to change. Take every chance that we have to learn something new things, we shouldn’t be held down by something that we can’t understand. Information is everywhere; seek it to improve knowledge and understanding.

Assalamualaikum and greetings to you sir Adnan, I, Hilman Amzari Bin Mohd Zawahir from C12, would like to share with you a story from the novel (and also from movie) that I already read few month ago. This is a very interesting story because…I don't know what to say, but you should hear it first.
The story is about a high school massacre which occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine. Well, actually, it was a sad story after all but, there is something about this tragedy which make me keep telling myself like "wow…is this story were really happen?" or "gosh…Poor all this kids..."
The story began when two boys, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold declare war against society (my opinion based on what I understand). This two boys were the victims of the unfair society and they tried to show their unsatisfied feeling by doing something that will make people, all around the world to remember them, and also to show the world that, "THIS IS REAL"....by killing all the creature whose called themselves "HUMAN".
Sound like this story are full with violence, am I right?? But actually for those who are willing to spend a few moment to explore and to research the true story about this tragedy will end out with a very sad feeling...including myself.
This story really touches my heart and also my mind. I am not sad for those who had been murdered, but I felt pity for these boys who had became murderer. I am touched by the last word that these boys leave before they became wild...the words are..."Killer was not born, but they were made…"
So, the last thing I want to say that you should search this story at
" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbine_High_School_massacre "

and I am really glad to know your feelings when you really understand about this true story...well, before that, I would like to said that this story are based on the true story (in other words, it is really happen). It also had been remake as a movie in the title "ELEPHANT". I am still looking for this movie because I just watched it on astro once a few months ago...

Title: Teen Dating Abuse

I found it on Oprah.com, a site where I’m always seeking for advices. But, what interesting here, it’s about us, the super-young teenagers who fighting with feeling an opposite sex. First of all, don’t get this wrong, it’s not sex education in general. It’s not pornography that young genes love for; it’s more that ladies especially should aware.
“Dating couple” become common scenes in UMP. We can see they both hang out from dawn to dusk. I never said it’s wrong to have someone special while studies, if (ATTENTION LADIES!) your boyfriends are not kind of “king-control” then its okay. But when he begin to slowly manipulate you, controlled then abused you, YOU ARE A VICTIM.
In Oprah.com, Dr. Jill Murrays exposed few signs that your boyfriends are actually abusing you as women.
- Isolation
Ask yourself, how is your relationship with your friends after you met your boyfriend? Not good? I got fewer friends? Those are the signals. They are tried to isolate you from your friends first, then from outside activities even worse from your family. You’ll be depending on him emotionally and won’t be able to leave him instantly or in long period.
- Emotionally Changes

You won’t find this out, but friends will notice this. You’ll be depressed and sad as your boyfriend keep abusing you. You will change your emotions, become desperate and feel alone.

- Constantly Calls

Have you ever stressed out when your boyfriend begin to give calls constantly, sometimes many times per day. He will keep asking about your location, when you’ll come back, what are you doing etc.

- Jealousy Issues

This is what “couples’ do. Jealousy. He might saw you with other boy speaking formally then feel upset. And he might tell you he is the one who love you in first place. Girls love this so called “hook”, they (girls) find it’s romantic while it can be red alert that your boyfriend is controlling you, slowly.

Other than this signs above, is the boyfriend’s background. You should be troubled when your boyfriends are coming from tragic family and might be, he will do the same things as the parents do. Other than that is “the Need to Impress”. Have you ever got his advices about how to dress up or put your make up, or something that make him satisfied in the eyes? You might in fear to object caused you think what he will do if you are not follow his advices. Yes! You are in the abusive date. Finally, you are keeping make excuses for him. He asked you to go out for dinner, and since you are afraid that he will do something if you refused, you will make any excuses that time while to escape, not from your boyfriend, but from your family, friends, and lecturers.

Thus, we can say you are victim of date abuses. Be careful, ladies. We have honour to protects. Find your friends for advices, or else reports to responsible organizations. Women are not things to abuse.

Thanks to Oprah.com

Assalamualaikum and greetings to you sir Adnan, i hope you are in good term and having a magnificent and a cheerful day. This is my first time posting so I don't really know what to write about so I will just go on to share a little bit of my experience organizing and publishing my own blogspot for the first time. Actually my real purpose in creating a blog is to keep the memory with my crew (team of friends)alive before all of us continue for further studies and by creating this blog, whenever we are far away we still can have a look to the memories that we carve and still keep in touch by using the chat box. However as time change, I found out that my friend rather use myspace, facbook, frienster and tagged so i think that it is such a waste to create a blog that no one ( my friends ) open and have their time reading or comment. Starting from that moment I created a new blog but this time its about me and some stories that passes through my ordinary life as a teenage university student. In my first blog, I have so many problem in publishing it since there are so many coding that I don't know so most of the elemets such as header and gadget are according to the template setting and I never try to change it. However thanks to a friend knowledge, he show me how to modify template HTML and a few days later my 100% perfect blogspot have complete and just waiting for a new post to be write. Well, I guess this is all for now. Thanks for listening.

Topic : Enjoying your moments in life.

Salam and good evening. Just a few minutes ago, I just received (again) another news form Oprah.com about how you can live your life in 30 seconds. It sounds impossible, right? Even drugs can't respond in this time limit.

So, how?

There are some researches conducted by certain organizations on how people can drown into happiness in less than 30 seconds... here are the few methods (thanks to Oprah.com)

1. Joke

People loves joke, even telecommunication companies making profit by giving "Jokes of the days" to their loyal customers. According to University in London, jokes can work out you brain area which can make you smile then laugh, so get some jokes now! HAHAHA!

2. Photo Album

Memories won't faded. It's us who always forgot what the memories tells us. Some photos of the past, like during your childhood moments, your school friends, college-us, team members or the simple one, your own family. Looking back at your own-old photo album might reminds your past and make you smiling to ears! It is approved by a survey conducted by British psychologist, that a photo album could make you feel warm and enjoy instead of other methods like chocolate, wine, music etc.

3. Partner

Tips for marriage couples, hug your partners everyday! It proven in North California that when women received a hug from their own husband, it'll low the blood pressure. Hugging your life-partner absolutely will make you feel home. And there are also researches that proved women intends to be less reactive when touching the loved ones instead of strangers.

4. Ask

Be friendly, ask your house mates, even our office friends how there are doing today. Sometimes, it can't be sounds annoying to your friends but at least it will released out your stress feelings.

>>>That just a few methods discovered on how to enjoy your life in simple way yet fast in 30 seconds.

Assalamualaikum wbt sir, i hope u having a nice day today. This is my first post for this month and hopefully its not too late for me to do so hehe.. I will just go on to share about the last series of manga i had read a few months ago.

The Japanese title,Midori No Hibi means Midori Days (English version)or Hari-hari Midori (Malay version)is a Shounen fantasy manga by Kazurou Inoue. It was published and collected in 8 volumes.

The series is about a toughest student in a high school, Seiji Sawamura. His grades aren't very good because he fights more than he studies, but he tends to protect the weaker students from bullies.A girl from a different school, Midori Kasugano idolize him; she the one shyly loves Seiji from afar but the others are just afraid of him, which has made it impossible for Seiji to find a girlfriend.

In desperation, he says to himself that he will grow old with only his right hand as lifelong companion—until one morning when he wakes to find a miniature Midori attached to where his right hand used to be and his attempts to return her to her real body.Over the next two weeks the pair adapt to this sudden and forced closeness.Seiji does his best to hide Midori from other people; she wears a bandage around her head and pretends to be his injured hand. Midori frequently impress her love to Seiji but Seiji fails to notice, even as he frequently laments that he'll never find a girl who loves him.

At the end of the series he finds Midori's diary, when she is off his hand, and reads it. He realizes how much she loves him, and waits for her to approach him in her real body. She confesses her love for him, without any memory of being on his hand. He tells her that he is in love with her, too. After that, it becomes obvious that they become a couple.

In the manga, however, Seiji admits that he likes Midori, besides looking at all the girls. And the manga ends with them becoming a couple, with Seiji buying a new diary for Midori, after letting her read her old one.

Good evening,I am Thilageswari d/o Sinnasamy from C12 would like to write a comments about stress. When you are under stress ,what will you do? Smoking, drinking too much, using pills, slepping too much, or zoning out for hours in front of the television or computer. These are actually unhealthy ways to reduce stress. There are many ways to reduce stress among the peoples.
Firstly, you must avoid unnecessary stress by learning how to say “no”. Whether in your personal or professional life, refuse to accept added responsibilities when you’re close to reaching them.Avoid people who make you stress. If someone consistently causes stress in your life and you can’t turn the relationship around, limit the amount of time you spend with that person or end the relationship entirely. You also must avoid hot button topics such as about politics, latest news and others. You just cross them off conversation list.If you repeatedly argue about the same subject with the same people, stop bringing it up or excuse yourself when it’s the topic of discussion.
Next, you also must alter situation and just figure out what you can do to change things so the problem doesn’t present itself in the future. Express your feelings instead of bottling them up.If someone concern talk to you, communicate with them. If you don’t voice your feelings, resentment will build and the situation will likely remain the same. Moreover, you also must willing to compromise to the person who you belief most. For example, when you ask to change their behavior,be wiling to do the same.If both are wiling, you will have a good chance of finding a middle ground. You also manage your time better. For your information, poor time management can cause a lot of stress. So, make a time table for yourself.
Futhermore, if you can’t change the stressor, change yourself. You can adapt to stressful situations and regain your sense of control by changing your expectations and attitude. You can look at the big picture and take perspective of the stressful situation.next, focus on the positive things. If you stress take positive moment to reflect on all the things you appreciate in your life including the gifs tha you have been get.
This are some way to reduce yourself from stress.I hope this comments give alot of benefit to your life.Thank you.

In announcement board today, a memo was stated that Universiti Malaysia Pahang(UMP) were closed for one week beginning today after a number of their students were suspected with ILI or influenza A(H1N1. All of students should return to campus only after this campus had recovered from the illness.Yesteday the university have already provide face masks to all suspected students when they having their medical check up at UKP.

Students had advised not to attend any classes or lectures from Thursday evening and if there were not feeling well, they have to attend a soon as possible and to wear face masks if they did in the order for the immediate closure was issued to prevent the spread of the ILI virus to other students.

In Bernama News had state that measures to control the spread of influenza A(H1N1) are being further intensified with six schools and a teaching institute asked to close today after students were found to have contracted Influenza A (H1N1) or influenza-like illness (ILI) at them.

Four schools in Pahang -- Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Jengka, Maran, Sekolah Menengah Abdul Rahman Talib (SMART), Kuantan, Sekolah Menengah Sains Tengku Abdullah, Raub and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Clifford, Kuala Lipis -- were ordered to remain shut until Aug 7.

Pahang Education Department director Datuk Abdul Aziz Abdul Latif said the action was taken after checks conducted by the Health Department found eight students from the schools were positive for H1N1.

Although more schools and educational institutions in all of Malaysia were closed due to the illness, the situation is under control because I think the Malaysian Health Department had taken various steps immediately due to the Chief Of Deparment advised those infected to be disciplined and to abide by the quarantine order issued by the Health Department.

Good day,
Hello to everyone.I'm Chan Chui Teng from C12.This is my first posting. As i viewed those comments above, i feel a bit guilty, because my comment will be very short.
So, here is my comment on an article which is about H1N1 which is now spread widely in our country. From the article,it mentioned that there are two Nasional Service camps have been closed. It is White Resort Camp in Penang and Tasik Chini Camp in Pahang. This is to avoid more trainees from infected by H1N1.
Besides, Sarawak, Kedah and Penang are some of the state which is influenced by H1N1. According to the article, there were 4 H1N1 positive cases which were reported in Sarawak. So far, there were already 8 H1N1 patients who were dying from H1N1.
As a citizen in Malaysia, i don't wish to see any increses of the number of H1N1 case. So, i would like to advise everyone to take care of yourself. Avoid yourself to go into crowded place. If you are feeling not well, please go and have a check up with doctor.please be aware, our healthy is one of our treasure. Be appreciate.

Greetings to you again Sir Adnan and my fellow friends. As usual myself, Hilman Amzari Bin Mohd Zawahir from C12, with gladly, would like to share one of the most famous histories in Japan that I think would be quiet interesting for all of us. Of course the story is about history (that I think most of the student not really interested) but this story really touch my heart and it open my mind to understand more about loyalty, love, honor, and respect which I definitely sure that it cannot be found in this world nowadays.
The story is about “The revenge of the Forty-seven Ronin“ (四十七士 Shi-jū Shichi-shi…”I got it from a dictionary..”), also known as “The Forty-seven Samurai” , “The Akō vendetta”, or “The Genroku Akō incident” (元禄赤穂事件 Genroku akō jiken – Don’t know whether the spelling is correct..) took place in Japan at the start of the eighteenth century. The tale has been described by one noted Japanese scholar as the country's "national legend." It recounts the most famous case involving the samurai code of honor, bushidō. (err..Do you guys know what is bushidō??)
The story tells of a group of samurai who were left leaderless (became ronin) after their daimyo (feudal lord) was forced to commit seppuku (famous ritual suicide that basically means cutting your stomach with katana) for assaulting a court official named Kira Yoshinaka, whose title was Kōzukeno suke. The ronin avenged their master's honor after patiently waiting and planning for over a year to kill Kira. In turn, the ronin were themselves forced to commit seppuku, (as I think that they had already know they would be for committing the serious crime of murder). With little embellishment, this true story was popularized in Japanese culture as emblematic of the loyalty, sacrifice, persistence, and honor that all good people should preserve in their daily lives. The popularity of the almost mythical tale was only enhanced by rapid modernization during the Meiji era of Japanese history, when it is suggested many people in Japan longed for a return to their cultural roots.
After reading this story, I felt that bushido is really quite amazing and this code had been used totally in the life of the samurai (warrior). And believe it or not, this code also made the samurai to become one of the strongest warrior and also a soldier (and also a bodyguard, mercenary, and human) in the asia long time ago. This code teach them the way of life as a human and also the importance of the loyalty, sacrifice, persistence, and honor that people should deserve in our daily lives.
As the conclusion that I can make is…for those who would like to know more about this story, you can ask me directly or you can also find it in Wikipedia (but I think listening is much more fun than reading, don’t you think so..??hehehe..). Have a nice day…

Hello Sir Adnan,

Hope you are fine as always. I guess this is the first post on the month of August. Just now, I'm watching a famous Disney Pixar film, Ratatouille. And what makes me addicted to watch it again and again is the messages from the film.

"Everyone can cook". I like that phrase much, even though it's clearly seen that I can't cook. But I'm still learning it. The phrase actually hide a meaning of possibilities.

Nothing is impossible in this world, we always heard that. Not everyone can have certain talents but experts also doesn't exist inside the group of intelligent people. (Is my sentence right?)

What important is we have to keep learn and learn. Knowledge will take us beyond our imagination.

And another thing is keep trying new thing. Discover new things. Imagine a thing will help us discover something and we will learn from it.

I guess that's all~

Good afternoon to Mr.Adnan and my lovely friends. This time I want give comment about how to meet new people and making friend. When you need friends? You need friend when you are under stress, problem and to enjoy. There are two ways to find friends:-direct and indirect. You may get friends ditrectly from class mates, roommates, or neighbourhood. For example, when you in class, take a seat beside someone and make friends with them. Indirectly you may find friends from websites example frienster, facebook, and blogs.
Now, I want to comment about how you going make friends with them. Firstly, I sure that you will shy when you face with new people. You make initiative to overcome the shyness. Self-help books and websites are always available to provide answers to your questions and possibly solutions to your problems. If the shyness becomes overwhelming, it would be best to consult a physician or therapist. These are the best way to solve your problem with positively.
Other than that, you also might be having a condition known as social anxiety disorder. This you are not a person who is socialist or polite. For you, there’s always a way to learn behaviors that can make one more outgoing. The first and most helpful step is finding the right location. Look for a place, where there is a at least one person similar with your interest and charatestics. So that, you feel more comfortable. Prepare a list of potential questions to ask someone even before you get to the location. You just start by wish ‘good morning’ or ‘hi’.If that person smile or show anything positive have a sit and introduce yourself. Get know their interest and charatestics, if you thing that person suitable for you, talk about problems without shyness. If you things that person not suitable for you discuss your problems just say ‘thank you’ and find other people.
Furthermore, avoid yes or no question. During your conversation, try to ask a question more than one word. For example, ‘Can you tell about your family background?’.You must change your mind set to things that would make you both feel comfortable, because the other person could be shy, too. Take time to look around the room after you walk in the door. . Don’t panic when you’re not talking to anybody yet. Try to get a feel for the group while looking at the people. Look around for somebody who’s alone ,it’s usually easier to approach a person on his/her own than in a group and chances are, that person may be just as shy as you! Do your best to make the person comfortable when engaging him/her in a conversation. The main point is find person who’s really comfortable to you, including sex, style, dress and others.
Now, I hope now you all know to make friends with new persons. You must have friends to release your tension and share your problems. I end my comment with small advice ‘bad habits die hard’. Thank you…

Assalammualaikum to sir Adnan. I hope you always in pink of health. I just want to share with you about harry potter. Actually, I just finish watched the movie of harry potter and half blood prince. For your information, this is the latest movie about harry potter.

In this movie, Voldermort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle (which is not magician) and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts(a school for magician) is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspect that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldermort' s defenses and to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings towards Ron (one of her best friends). As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be same again.

That’s all about harry potter and half blood prince. I think it more enjoy if you watch the movie.
Thank you.

Thank you.

evening sir, since im writing at 1130 pm
well for tonight i like to spend some time to tell you a story. This story is actually from a movie I just watch a few minutes ago, the title of the story is " The Thing ".
The story takes place in the year somewhere around 1980 at the arctics. The story is about some scientist who accidentally found a corpse of an alien. The scientist thought that it is already dead but actually the alien still alive and it tries to play dead so that in can transform itself to a form of human by assimilating with human. As the story continues, the scientist discovers that the alien body is a compilation of a few living organism and it will react to others if its life is in danger state. Since the alien have already transform itself to one of the scientists so the others have to take precaution while trying to track and kill the alien. At the end of the story, the alien was successfully killed however there are only 2 survivors from this attack an the story ends. I found the story quite interesting however the story plot was not very satisfactory. Well I guest that all for now.

Title: Love and Age

Assalamualaikum and good evening Mr Adnan. Since today we don't have class so I decided to drop by here to fullfill my task to giving comments. And once again my sources come from Oprah.com.

For today subscription, I got an article about love and age. Age differences in relationship. It was wrote by Lois Smith Brady.

What I found interesting about this article, Lois is telling us the facts and the myths of having relationship with someone who either too young or too old for us.

Of course there are no law stated in this world that no one can get their spouse with major differences in age. I'm also think about that, age leave no boundaries when comes to sincerely relationship. I've seen many cases happened around me, where my friend who her sister is marrying with a guy who 5 years younger than her. Sound too much, right?

Lois wrote some stories of her friends she met, a couple who met in the middle of Utah, Mike and Dianne.

Dianne who a single mother who been divorced and having two children figured out that Mike is kind of cute and young guy, and she never imagine that Mike is falling for her. While Mike never think that his ideal type of woman is someone who above 40, just when it comes to been attract on someone, age doesn't matter.

And they live a good life today!

Dianne once feel that she might be look too old with wrinkles and anything that describe a woman as an old lady, but Mike doesn't even doubt with physical beauty. He even object Dianne's wish to get some Botox treatments.

Sometimes, what bothering for few couples with age-gap is physical appeareances and not forget, desire to get children.

Carol sometimes feel odd when going out with her husband, Duncan who younger than her. And the question about having children, it never answered. Since Carol is a determine woman who love working and having crush with Duncan is not in her imagination. But, that's what happened.

Carol do feel awkward to go in public with her husband at the beginning but as she said, "The more we're together, the more we look like we belong together". And now, she used to live that way.

People might found this issue is funny. Even they might captured that this is not normal. But, we can seen some examples who finally living happily ever after.

In today world, nothing is impossible. Having crush with someone who older or younger might giving you life or hell. But, it depends on your heart. If you find he/she is suits, and you should get him/her as the soulmates. Age isn't a red flag in relationship.

Good everning to Mr.adnan and my friends. This time I would like to start my comment with a smile .
This time I want share about what a boy wish to tell a girl? Actually this topic will be such a interesting topic to all us.Hi girls! It’s fun to talk about boys. Boys with gorgeous eyes, groovy hair, cute smiles and ripped stomach muscles. Really handsome, but what do they say when they talk about you? A surveyed as been within 150 guys about this topic. This surveyed start with girl’s makeup.
"Why do girls think they need to have so much crap on their faces?" asks Billy. "Girls at my school wear all this black crap on their eyes, and their lips are, like, thick with brown goop. It's ugly. Do they really think that will get them a guy?"
Actually Billy did not release that not all girls apply makeup to get them a guy. Not all the guys will think like Billy but some guys like to girls who are apply makeup. Right, girls? In this modern world most of girls are apply makeup this also become a new technologies. In my opinion, over makeup will damage our skin so be careful when choose a product and the girls are much prettier without all that makeup.
"Please, tell me why a girl thinks calling her equals I want her to be my girlfriend," says Mikey. Blunt, but we like blunt. Nearly every guy we talked to says he feels tons of pressure from girls when it comes to the telephone. "It's like calling a girl means I'm admitting I like her, but that's not what's up," explains Mikey. "It's more like I'm calling because I might like her. I hate calling because the next day the girl acts like she owns me. Or, if she's shy, suddenly she can barely talk to me because she's scared. It's stupid."
Some guys are like this,
"I'm just calling because you're cute or nice or whatever," says Jordan. "If you treat me like I'm a dog just because I think you're cool enough to dial up, then you're a b-word."
So, according Mikey who said girls are think her girlfriend when calling on the phone. As a girl, I accept Mikey’s statement but it depend on how that guy talk too.
"What is up with girls hopping up and down when they're happy about something?" asks Pete. "A girl definitely invented the word 'yay!' because no guy I know has ever used it."
I really do want to know why girls are so excited about normal stuff," says Pete. "Every other thing, it’s like, 'Ohmigosh! No way!"'
Okay, I think girls are just different from guys. I have seen a guy friend cried but I have seen a girl friend cried. That girls feeling when over happy or sad.
Girls, these are some of opinion from the guys. So, beware forever….
I hope you enjoy read my comment .Thank you.

Evening Sir Adnan
Today, I want to talk about relationship. As a normal human we need relationship with others but for now I would like to stress more on our relationship with friends. Dear sir, friends are very important to us so that we can stand tall in this life so, I want to share on how to make friends. Let us start with on how to make friends, I will jolt down in points so its easy for you to read.

1.Start with a smile and try to give a warm expression to the individual that we want to make friend by starting with a welcoming hand shake and a simple introduction of ourselves.
2.Try to talk on simple topics like music, movie or sports to give a brief information about the individual likes.
3.Talk more on the things the individual likes and try to give more space to the individual to give his opinion and avoid interrupting the person when he talks.
4.Ask a simple connected question with the individual likes but not to much so he wont thinks that we are arguing with him.
5.Never look away or doing something else when the individual is talking and try to respond to what he or she ask.
6.Try to put some humor during the conversation so that we can show that we are a fun person.

So that is all for now, I hope this information will be useful. Arigato gonzaimas and thank you.

Good morning Mr Adnan. Few weeks ago I had visited this site to find out how many people have started doing their homework. Actually that night I wished that I could write out at least 1 post. Then I started surfing net and reading newspaper, hoping that I can find some inspiration and finish this homework as soon as possible. But that time my mind was blank and finally I did nothing at all that night.
Then few days ago, I had read a news. Its topic is “Eight More Swine Flu Deaths in Malaysia” (http://www.hindu.com/thehinu/holnus/003200908091681.htm). I was shocked that there are already 26 swine flu deaths in Malaysia since I had not read newspaper for few months. At that moment only I realized how serious the flu is.
But yesterday I went out with friends and one of them bought the newspaper. Then I was being told that the death toll of H1N1 is up to 56 cases in Malaysia now. According to the newspaper, there were already 6 swine flu death cases and hundred over patient have tested positive for the H1N1 virus in Perak.
Just now I surfed net for the latest news of H1N1 and saw “Malaysia Confirms 6 New Swine Flu – Related Deaths” (http://www.gmanews.tv/story/169957/Malaysia-confirms-6-new-swine-flu-related-deaths). That means there are already 62 swine flu deaths in Malaysia. It’s really a big and terrified amount.
Anyway, I think we need to take good care of ourselves and not to make our family worry about us since we are far from our home now. And hope that the fatal sickness will be under controlled soon so that all of us will be able to enjoy the mid semester break holiday and raya holiday which is around the corner. Take care, friends. =)

Good day,
This is my second post in this month. my last post was on 4th of August. It is just 2 weeks between my first post and my second post. I feel very sad to know that the no of death of H1N1 is still increasing.
From the newspaper that i read last week, it was just thirty something of people who die from H1N1. But til now, it is already 64 cases of death. It is a unbelievable incident for me.
Based on the Sin Chew Jit Poh(chinese newspaper) with the date 15th of august, there were 5 more people who were die from H1N1.Among the 5 death, there are 2 babies,a teenager who was just 19 years old, fat guy and lady with diabetes each. In my view, mostly of the death were happened among the children, eldest, pregnant woman and those woman who are after giving birth.
One of the causes of death is, people are late to discover that they are infected of InfluenzaA, even some of the doctor also cannot notice the symptom and just treat it like normal fever and flu.
So, for the citizen, we must take good care of ourselve, try not to go to the place which is crowded oftenly. Please wear up face mask whenever we go like what our Health Minister told us.We must give our full coorperation to the government.
That's all my comment. Thanks for reading.

Hello to everyone.I'm Nurul Ain Ahmed (C12LBG).This is my first posting for this month,i'm sorry to be late because i got problem with internet connection in my dorm.I'm a die-hard-fan of triller, death & horror movies. I have a lot of triller & horror movies which all are my favorite movies collection.

So here,I would like to share about a movie that i watched last weekend,SAW directed by James Wan inn 2004.Actually this film is the first installment of the Saw film series of 6. Here is the story about:

Starting with two men wake up at opposite sides of a dirty, disused bathroom, chained by their ankles to pipes. Between them lies a dead man loosely clutching a hand-held tape player and a handgun. Each finds a tape the perfect fit for the player in their back pocket. They play the tapes. One is threatened, the other isn't. But they have a task: One must kill the other by 6:00, or his wife and daughter will die. They find hacksaws in a toilet, and try to cut the chains, but it doesn't work. They are the two newest victims of the Jigsaw Killer. In a flashback, we learn of Amanda, a girl who falls victim to the Jigsaw Killer. On her head is a mask, which is hooked into her lower jaw. There is a timer on it. Only one key will unlock it, and that key is in the digestive tract of her cell mate who lies paralyzed on the opposite side of the room. If she doesn't unlock the mask in time, her lower jaw will be ripped wide open. She survives, but her cell mate doesn't. Through a series of flashbacks, we learn of more victims, and of the nearly-successful capture of the Jigsaw Killer, who doesn't actually kill his victims. Instead, he finds ways to make them kill either themselves, or each other, and he thinks the entire 'game' out perfectly, with no other ways out.

So what do you think?interesting right? So my recommendation to all of you is to watch Saw and have a good time like I did.If you sharing my favourite too,let me know any suggestion of interesting movies to watch. Thanks

Good evening everyone, since i wrote this at night about to releasing my tension doing my revision on programming tecnique subject hee.. so i gonna to share with other which is in the same boat with me. it about a joke i read at http://www.lawakjenaka.com/. The title is The Computer Programming by matlempang(the author's name).

A man was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, “If you kiss me, I’ll turn into a beautiful princess.” He bent over, picked up the frog, and put it in his pocket.

The frog spoke up again and said, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will tell everyone how smart and brave you are and how you are my hero.” The man took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it, and returned it to his pocket.

The frog spoke up again and said, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will be your loving companion for an entire week.” The man took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it, and returned it to his pocket.

The frog then cried out, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I’ll stay with you for a year and do ANYTHING you want.” Again the man took the frog out, smiled at it, and put it back into his pocket.

Finally, the frog asked, “What is the matter? I’ve told you I’m a beautiful princess, that I’ll stay with you for a year and do anything you want. Why won’t you kiss me?”

The man said, “Look, I’m a computer programmer. I don’t have time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog is cool.”

Funny right?so keep cool, do your best for HOT (except miss hanum hehe)

assalamualaikum and hello to everyone.today,i would like to share with all of you about frienship..Do you know why we need friendships when we have a loney life in this world?and why we need friends in our life??Well friends, this ia a tedious question to answer. Lets see each questions..

*Why we need friendships??
frienships are the gift to the man kind. Rhe relation which we get in this world are blood related. But the only relationships which does not related to blood is frienship. Friendship has many forms and shapes. It is like water. if we pour the water into a jug it takes the shape of jug. If you pour the same water into a bowl it takes the shape of bowl. Sameway friendship wll take a different shapes and sizes according to our heart. Friendship gives pleasure to human being. Where there is frienship then there will not be any sorrow. When you see a child laughing you will forget your sorrow for a second, sameway when you are with a friend you forget your sorrows.

*Friendships crosses boundries
The world is rotating smoothly because of the friendly hearts in the world. It crosses boundries and share a mutual bonding of love. friendships will take care of this entire world from problems. if we are friends then our countries will, when our countries are friends then there is not need of the weapons. So take weapon named friendship and love and conqure the world with love.

*friendships saves life
trusted true friendships never makes others down. it helps a lot to make friends to comeup from the situation. Friendships never expect anything in return for all its offering. It saves life without looking into situation.

*Why we need friends & friendships?
Friends comes with frienships.they are the channel of loves and affection. Friends are like child's heart which doesn't know wrong thinkings. When there is a friend with us we feel secure, happy, huge support and comfortable which you can't get from others.

therefore, everyone need friends in their life..so,make a friends as many as you can..

Dear miss, I just wake up from my afternoon nap so if my writing looks weird i apologize for that.

OK im going to start my posting. Recently i have just watch a concert (video) that i borrowed from my classmate hilman. the concert was at Tokyo dome and the band that does the concert is X-JAPAN. maybe, just maybe you never heard this band but for me, they are like an icon for rock anthem in japan. continue my post, the concert was name as "on the verge of destruction", don't know why but what can i say, just enjoy the concert anyway but the best part is that the concert was recorded in July but the year was back 17 years ago. yes like i said 17 years which mean the concert is in 1992. i never guess that there still a record of the concert and i think i am so lucky to watch the concert although on video form. well about the concert, X-JAPAN entertain the fans with 18 songs and most of the songs that they sang on the stage at that day are hard to be found nowadays when download (seriously,I have to find those songs but not in the search list.. huh..). about the concert, the band didn't entertain the fans with only songs but also with some sketch and i think it was magnificent. to tell you the truth, the most incredible part for me was the sketch done the drummer of this band, he plays the drum to symbolize the hardness and tiredness of the band from zero to well known, to be hated with conspiracy, standing again after fall and to be what they are today. although using drum-set as the main music transfer but for me the message was superbly clear. well, that's all i think for now, i am already feel dizzy to write, continue with other posting. Thanks for listening.

Assalamualaikum and good afternoon…

On BBC news website I discover a unique photo showing a single molecule, for me this advancement in science can help human life better. As electronics are going down nano-meter scale it can further help us in understanding and creating better drugs, electronics that doesn’t take too much space and material that strong, cheap and environmentally friendly.

IBM Research Zurich the same team that responsible for measuring the charge of a single atom, the team uses what is known as atomic force microscope or AFM to do their research. Their version of the device acts like a tiny tuning fork, with one of the prongs of the fork passing incredibly close to the sample and the other farther away. When the fork is set vibrating, the prong nearest the sample will experience a minuscule shift in the frequency of its vibration, simply because it is getting close to the molecule. Comparing the frequencies of the two prongs gives a measure of just how close the nearer prong is, effectively mapping out the molecule's structure.

The team aims to use the new technique in tandem with a similar one known as scanning tunneling microscopy - in which a tiny voltage is applied across the sample to determine if the two methods in combination can deduce the nature of each atom in the AFM images.

Assalamualaikum and good morning…
This is a good article for first time programmer, I would recommend to all to read it. Basically it’s a step-by-step technique that most can use when having problem programming a system or trying to determine error in a system or program.
1. Start small
When programming it is better to start with what you know, identifying the problem is the main key, but by starting bit-by-bit you actually can understand more about your program, compiler behavior and basic assumption test to a program. It’s also good to experiment with stuff that you’ve already known and familiar with.
2. Build in increment
Almost all programming language has their own module, or in visual basic different form for different purpose, by building a programming in module or form it’s easier to detect error. By building a program or system in module, you generally have the basic flow of how the program would work. If you don’t know what to write in the next module, it’s better to write code that is simpler than you thought.
3. Backtracking
When you’re building your program bit-by-bit it’s easier for you to process any error or function that doesn’t work well. It also saves a lot of time as when you’re programming with code more than 100 lines you’re prone to problems.
4. Staying focused
What is mean by staying focused is you as a programmer can stay focus on the project without too much testing going on, as you build the program bit-by-bit you’ve tested and corrected most of the error involve earlier.

I hope that this article will help others as many of C12 student are first time programmer, so I really hope you will enjoy the programming class.

Feelings

Feelings, emotions - what are they?

"I still have feelings for her, but I don't love her anymore."

"It just feels so right to be together."

"I just can't bear the pain and anger anymore, I've got to get away from him."

"Our marriage is over - I just don't feel the same way about her anymore."

Our emotions are one of the things we use to measure life by. If we feel happy in a certain situation, we think it's a healthy place to be. If we feel unhappy, we think we should get out or change things. The danger is that we easily let our feelings take over from any values or common sense we have.

What are feelings - they are the emotions that rise up in us in reaction to events going on around us. We can feel happy, sad, excited, bored, anxious, embarrassed, miserable, to name just a few.

They are not thoughts or opinions arising from the mind, but sensations arising from the heart. If we say’ "I feel that you shouldn't do that," we're expressing an opinion or thought and not an emotion.

Many men don't think they have any feelings. They've been brought up by our society to hide their emotions. "Boys don't cry." Yet some men do! It's funny how Italian men seem to be made differently - they don't mind crying!

Men really do have feelings. If you've ever seen a football fan when his team scores a goal, you'll see some feelings surface!!! At most other times many think it's somehow unmanly to express emotion, somehow a sign of weakness!

Everyone has emotions. It's just that some of us push them down out of the way. Some of us do this so well that we think we're unemotional; that actually means we don't acknowledge or express them, not that they aren't there.

Feelings are simply the way we respond to what's happening to us and around us. They are a sign of what is going on inside. They are also unique to us. No other person is quite like you and so know other person has quite the same set of feelings.

We can't control them or make them really go away. Have you ever tried making yourself feel happy, when you're miserable. It's not that easy.

How are you feeling right now? Calm, excited, bored, interested, anxious, fearful, embarrassed, irritated?

Public health
Fears of high cholesterol were frequently voiced up until the mid-1990s. However, more recent research has shown that the distinction between high- and low-density lipoprotein ('good' and 'bad' cholesterol, respectively) must be addressed when speaking of the potential ill effects of cholesterol. Different types of dietary fat have different effects on blood levels of cholesterol. For example, polyunsaturated fats tend to decrease both types of cholesterol; monounsaturated fats tend to lower LDL and raise HDL; saturated fats tend to either raise HDL, or raise both HDL and LDL; and trans fat tend to raise LDL and lower HDL. Dietary cholesterol itself is only found in animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy, but studies have shown that even large amounts of dietary cholesterol only have negligible effects on blood cholesterol.
Media coverage of mass-produced, processed, "snack" or "sweet" products directly marketed at children has worked to undermine policy efforts to improve eating habits. The main problem with such advertisements for foods is that alcohol and fast food are portrayed as offering excitement, escape and instant gratification.
Particularly within the last five years government agencies have attempted to combat the amount and method of media coverage lavished upon "junk" foods. Governments also put pressure on businesses to promote healthful food options, consider limiting the availability of junk food in state-run schools, and tax foods that are high in fat. Most recently, the United Kingdom removed the rights for McDonald's to advertise its products, as the majority of the foods that were seen have low nutrient values were aimed at children under the guise of the "Happy Meal". The British Heart Foundation released its own government-funded advertisements, labeled "Food4Thought", which were targeted at children and adults displaying the gory nature of how fast food is generally constituted.

Cultural and psychological factors of health.....
From a psychological perspective, a new healthy diet may be difficult to achieve for a person with poor eating habits. This may be due to tastes acquired in early adolescence and preferences for fatty foods. It may be easier for such a person to transition to a healthy diet if treats such as chocolate are allowed; sweets may act as mood stabilizers, which could help reinforce correct nutrient intake.
It is known that the experiences we have in childhood relating to consumption of food affect our perspective on food consumption in later life. From this, we are able to determine ourselves our limits of how much we will eat, as well as foods we will not eat - which can develop into eating disorders, such as anorexia, bulimia, or orthorexia This is also true with how we perceive the sizes of the meals or amounts of food we consume daily; people have different interpretations of small and large meals based on upbringing.
While plants, vegetables, and fruits are known to help reduce the incidence of chronic disease,[citation needed] the benefits on health posed by plant-based foods, as well as the percentage of which a diet needs to be plant based in order to have health benefits is unknown. Nevertheless, plant-based food diets in society and between nutritionist circles are linked to health and longevity, as well as contributing to lowering cholesterol, weight loss, and in some cases, stress reduction.[citation needed]
Indeed, ideas of what counts as "healthy eating" have varied in different times and places, according to scientific advances in the field of nutrition, cultural fashions, religious proscriptions, or personal considerations.

HIV/AIDS

The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a retrovirus that infects cells of the human immune system, destroying or impairing their function. In the early stages of infection, the person has no symptoms. However, as the infection progresses, the immune system becomes weaker, and the person becomes more susceptible to so-called opportunistic infections.
The most advanced stage of HIV infection is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It can take 10-15 years for an HIV-infected person to develop AIDS; antiretroviral drugs can slow down the process even further.
HIV is transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse (anal or vaginal), transfusion of contaminated blood, sharing of contaminated needles, and between a mother and her infant during pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.

healthy diets ang lifestyle..
Promoting healthy diets and lifestyles to reduce the global burden of noncommunicable diseases requires a multisectoral approach involving the various relevant sectors in societies. The agriculture and food sector figures prominently in this enterprise and must be given due importance in any consideration of the promotion of healthy diets for individuals and population groups. Food strategies must not merely be directed at ensuring food security for all, but must also achieve the consumption of adequate quantities of safe and good quality foods that together make up a healthy diet. Any recommendation to that effect will have implications for all components in the food chain. It is therefore useful at this juncture to examine trends in consumption patterns worldwide and deliberate on the potential of the food and agriculture sector to meet the demands and challenges posed by this report.
Economic development is normally accompanied by improvements in a country’s food supply and the gradual elimination of dietary deficiencies, thus improving the overall nutritional status of the country’s population. Furthermore, it also brings about qualitative changes in the production, processing, distribution and marketing of food. Increasing urbanization will also have consequences for the dietary patterns and lifestyles of individuals, not all of which are positive. Changes in diets, patterns of work and leisure - often referred to as the “nutrition transition” - are already contributing to the causal factors underlying noncommunicable diseases even in the poorest countries. Moreover, the pace of these changes seems to be accelerating, especially in the low-income and middle-income countries.
The dietary changes that characterize the “nutrition transition” include both quantitative and qualitative changes in the diet. The adverse dietary changes include shifts in the structure of the diet towards a higher energy density diet with a greater role for fat and added sugars in foods, greater saturated fat intake (mostly from animal sources), reduced intakes of complex carbohydrates and dietary fibre, and reduced fruit and vegetable intakes (1). These dietary changes are compounded by lifestyle changes that reflect reduced physical activity at work and during leisure time (2). At the same time, however, poor countries continue to face food shortages and nutrient inadequacies.

Air quality and health

KEY FACTS
• Air pollution is a major environmental risk to health and is estimated to cause approximately 2 million premature deaths worldwide per year.
• Exposure to air pollutants is largely beyond the control of individuals and requires action by public authorities at the national, regional and even international levels.
• The WHO Air quality guidelines represent the most widely agreed and up-to-date assessment of health effects of air pollution, recommending targets for air quality at which the health risks are significantly reduced.
• By reducing particulate matter (PM10) pollution from 70 to 20 micrograms per cubic metre, we can cut air quality related deaths by around 15%.
• By reducing air pollution levels, we can help countries reduce the global burden of disease from respiratory infections, heart disease, and lung cancer.
• The WHO guidelines provide interim targets for countries that still have very high levels of air pollution to encourage the gradual cutting down of emissions. These interim targets are: a maximum of three days a year with up to 150 micrograms of PM10 per cubic metre (for short term peaks of air pollution), and 70 micrograms per cubic metre for long term exposures to PM10.
• More than half of the burden from air pollution on human health is borne by people in developing countries. In many cities, the average annual levels of PM10(the main source of which is the burning of fossil fuels) exceed 70 micrograms per cubic metre. The guidelines say that, to prevent ill health, those levels should be lower than 20 micrograms per cubic metre.

ART
(This article is about the general concept of art.)

Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture, and paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics.

The definition and evaluation of art has become especially problematic since the early 20th century. Richard Wollheim distinguishes three approaches: the Realist, whereby aesthetic quality is an absolute value independent of any human view; the Objective, whereby it is also an absolute value, but is dependent on general human experience; and the Relativist position, whereby it is not an absolute value, but depends on, and varies with, the human experience of different humans.[1] An object may be characterized by the intentions, or lack thereof, of its creator, regardless of its apparent purpose. A cup, which ostensibly can be used as a container, may be considered art if intended solely as an ornament, while a painting may be deemed craft if mass-produced.

Traditionally, the term art was used to refer to any skill or mastery. This conception changed during the Romantic period, when art came to be seen as "a special faculty of the human mind to be classified with religion and science".Generally, art is made with the intention of stimulating thoughts and emotions.

Photographer

A photographer is a person who takes photographs using a camera. A professional photographer uses photography to make a living whilst an amateur photographer does not earn a living and typically takes photographs for pleasure and to record an event, place or person for future enjoyment.

A photographer's pursuit of photography may be as an art form or to sell photographs for commercial purposes, or both.

Photographers are often categorized based on the subjects they photograph. Some photographers explore subjects typical of paintings such as landscape, still life, and portraiture. Other photographers specialize in subjects unique to photography, including street photography, documentary photography, fashion photography, wedding photography, war photography, photojournalism and commercial photography.Paparazzi are photographers who take candid photographs of celebrities.

What is music?

We are all aware that music and "atmosphere" go together. We might put on relaxing music for a quiet romantic dinner, but listen to something livelier while doing some physical work or exercise or out socialising in larger groups. You might have heard of farmers who increase production by playing music to their animals, recent studies showing that listening to fast music whilst driving increases the rate of car accidents, and the Mozart Effect claims to increase intelligence. While some claims may be exaggerated, there is no denying that music can suggest and affect our state of mind. But the reason for this is very mysterious. Why should organised sounds affect us to such an extent that billions are spent annually making music?

We're sure some professors may have written volumes about this topic but don't worry, we won't! We just think that it might be useful to record some thoughts on this question, since it is so relevant to other explorations on the mfiles web-site. We think that the main aspects of music which influence us can be summed up as:

* Tempo & Rhythm
* Pitch, Melody & Harmony
* Pattern recognition
* Culture aspects

and will explore each of these facets in turn.

Cell Phone Danger

as we become more and more keen on cell phones there remains the open question of what effect these cell phones have on our health and well being.
Our dependence on and investment in cell phones rise steadily. The annual sale of cell phones is approaching 1 billion units. Is the result of all the accompanying electromagnetic radiation going to have an effect on our health? Almost everyone has heard some 'anecdotal evidence' where there have been some undesirable effects on people: headache, concentration problems, irritability, insomnia, etc. But, can anything be said on a scientific basis?

The topic is difficult in itself and made more difficult by the enormous financial interests involved. Ideally, in a cold, scientific experiment, one should find a group of humans, some of whom would be subjected to the electromagnetic radiation produced by cell phones and their base stations for several years and some of whom in the group would not be exposed. All of them would be blind to exposure and they would not differ in terms of other factors influencing their health. One could carefully measure their health status and their well being, distinguishing between those exposed and those not exposed. Obviously this has not been done nor will it be done in the future.

What Is Stress?

First, and answer to the question, 'What is stress?' The term 'stress' refers to the response you have when facing circumstances that force you to act, change, or adjust in some way to maintain your footing, or to keep things balanced. (The circumstances themselves are known as 'stressors', but we'll have more on them later.)
This stress response, also known as the fight-or-flight response, triggers many involuntary changes in your body, which give you an extra burst of energy so that you can fight or run away from perceived threats. This was a helpful response for us in earlier times, when most of the stresses we faced were physical--this burst of physical energy was needed to keep us alive in many cases. Nowadays, though, more and more of our threats are psychological--job stress, interpersonal conflict, etc.--and this response to stress, which can actually make us think less clearly, isn't always necessary, or even helpful.

Chronic Stress

When you face stressors often, and find that you have little control in these situations, you are at risk of experiencing chronic stress, which can affect your health in may negative ways. Having your stress response activated long-term, and not getting your body back to a state of relaxation can tax your system, leaving you overstimulated and depleted at the same time. Studies on health and stress have shown that stress can be a causal or contributing factor to virtually all major illnesses because chronic stress can lower immunity

hi, today i would like share tips for good sleep:

Tips For Good Sleep:

Keep regular sleep habits.

Try to get to bed at the same time and get up at the same time every day—even on weekends and vacations.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol in the late afternoon and evening.

If consumed too close to bedtime, the caffeine in coffee, soft drinks, chocolate, and some medications can keep you from sleeping or sleeping soundly. Even though it can make you feel sleepy, drinking alcohol around bedtime also can disturb sleep.

Avoid daytime naps.

Sleeping in the afternoon can interfere with nighttime sleep. If you feel you can't get by without a nap, set an alarm for 1 hour. When it goes off, get up and start moving.

Reserve your bed for sleeping.

Watching the late news, reading a suspense novel, or working on your laptop in bed can stimulate you, making it hard to sleep.

Time your exercise.

Regular daytime exercise can improve nighttime sleep. But avoid exercising within 3 hours of bedtime, which actually can be stimulating, keeping you awake.

How To Exercise When You Have Arthritis
Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool.

If your bedroom is hot, noisy, or hot, it can make it harder to sleep.

Avoid liquids and spicy meals before bed.

Heartburn and latenight trips to the bathroom are not conducive to good sleep.

Wind down before bed.

Avoid working right up to bedtime. Do relaxing activities, such as listening to soft music or taking a warm bath, that get you ready to sleep. An added benefit of a warm bath is that can soothe aching muscles.

water pollution...

In the United States industry is the greatest source of pollution, accounting for more than half the volume of all water pollution and for the most deadly pollutants. Some 370,000 manufacturing facilities use huge quantities of freshwater to carry away wastes of many kinds. The waste-bearing water, or effluent, is discharged into streams, lakes, or oceans, which in turn disperse the polluting substances. In its National Water Quality Inventory, reported to Congress in 1996, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency concluded that approximately 40% of the nation's surveyed lakes, rivers, and estuaries were too polluted for such basic uses as drinking supply, fishing, and swimming. The pollutants include grit, asbestos, phosphates and nitrates, mercury, lead, caustic soda and other sodium compounds, sulfur and sulfuric acid, oils, and petrochemicals.

In addition, numerous manufacturing plants pour off undiluted corrosives, poisons, and other noxious byproducts. The construction industry discharges slurries of gypsum, cement, abrasives, metals, and poisonous solvents. Another pervasive group of contaminants entering food chains is the polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) compounds, components of lubricants, plastic wrappers, and adhesives. In yet another instance of pollution, hot water discharged by factories and power plants causes so-called thermal pollution by increasing water temperatures. Such increases change the level of oxygen dissolved in a body of water, thereby disrupting the water's ecological balance, killing off some plant and animal species while encouraging the overgrowth of others.

Instead of trying so hard to get back his love

Cry for me, try for me, look for me

Cry for me, try for me, look for me

For his love, don´t cry for his love.

If you only knew how long I have loved you
If you only knew how much I want you
I would do anything to prove
That my love for you is true
I would do anything you asked me to do

And each day I wake up, I feel so lonely
That I can only, think of what went wrong
And each day I wake up, I look out the window,
And look for a love that, that surely is gone

But each day I try to find, a little peace of mind
I try to start living without you
And each day I try to find, a little peace of mind
To go down the road of life, living without you

And losing your love is a heartache unending
A grief unbending, that won´t go away
And losing your love is like longing for sunshine
Like looking for springtime, on a cold winter´s day

And so the time has come, to start moving on
A time to start living without you
And so the time has come, to sing a different song
To go down the road of life, living without you

To go down the road of life

And each day I wake up, I feel so lonely
That I can only think of what went wrong

Assalamualaikum and have a nice day to all..

I want say a little bit about music. What is music? It’s what comes out of the speakers when we play a CD on our stereo. It’s what we hear on the radio. Music is singers singing and musicians playing. Music is a sound that we enjoy hearing. Music is enjoyable and it makes us feel good. We could expand on this a bit and say that music creates emotions, or interacts with the emotions we already feel and, sometimes, it makes us want to dance. Music is something that people create and something that people respond to. People are living organisms, and biology is the study of living organisms.

BBQ Recipes
My favourite thing about summer is being able to fire up the barbecue and enjoy good food outdoors with family and friends. It's the best way to have a party and the food always tastes great. For me, bbq recipes should be cooked on charcoal barbecues. No gas fuel cookers for me. The charcoal should be good quality too, either lumpwood charcoal or briquettes. If you grow fruit trees, the dried cuttings also make an excellent fuel.
A barbecue feast should smell, look and taste good. Be careful not to undercook anything as that can be harmful, but there's no need to set everything on fire either. Good cooking outside comes with practice. Just do the basics to begin with and then confidence will come with experience. Then you can experiment with different bbq recipes.
Barbecues don't have to be just sausages, chicken drumsticks and burgers, although there should always be some of those as people expect them! Even these can be spiced up with marinades and sauces etc.
There are traditional, classic sauces such as Aioli Sauce. This is the basis of mayonnaise and consists of garlic, egg yolks, olive oil, lemon and seasoning. A tasty Barbecue Sauce can be made with garlic, salt, paprika, clear honey, tomato puree, orange juice, white or red wine vinegar and soy sauce. You can also make Japanese marinades that use Sake and Indian marinades that use cumin and coriander. The use of herbs and butters also adds to the flavor of bbq recipes. You can have accompanying butters with foods such as lobster, shrimp or anchovy.
There are lots of bbq ideas for meat dishes to satisfy the carnivores. One of my favorite bbq recipes is Fillet Steak with Blue Cheese. I also like Lamb Chops with Tarragon and Pork Chops with Fennel. Poultry can include less common items such as pheasant, quail or guinea fowl.
Fish lovers will also enjoy barbecues and there are certain types of fish that are suited to being grilled. Bass, Mackerel, swordfish, cod, bream and sardines are just some examples of tasty bbq recipes using fish.
Vegetarians, and lovers of vegetables generally should also enjoy going to barbecues. There's nothing more full of flavor than grilled sweet corn or aubergines. Mushrooms are also very tasty, cooked in garlic butter.
People tend to forget pudding at barbecues. I have come across some imaginative bbq recipes for fruit deserts, including Caramelized Bananas and Apple Kebabs. If you prefer cheese as a last course, there's nothing finer than barbecued goats' cheeses.

Valentines Day

When you think of it, it is rather strange that a festival that had its origins in a pagan ritual has come to become one of the most important, commercial ventures of the modern day. And mind you, there is very little that is religious about this festival. Each year, in February, scores of young, middle aged and even old people sit up and take a look at their personal lives to cater to this festival. If you haven’t already guessed what it is, I’m talking about Valentines Day here!
February the 14th, or Valentines Day holds a special place in my heart. Like scores of other incurable romantics, I too proposed to my childhood sweet heart on Valentines Day. And now, several years later, I can gladly say that we are still together, and still celebrate Valentines Day together. For both of us, the day has a special significance. While we did not get married on Valentines Day as several couples are wont to do, we did decide to spend the rest of our lives together on that day. Which is what makes it so special! But it is when you look at the ringing cash registers of major retailers that you will realize that Valentines Day is a very important day for them too! Valentines Day, which started off as a pagan festival to celebrate the coming of spring, has grown to become the most important commercial season in the books of almost all major retailers in the present world.

If you take a look at the shops and malls around you, you will realize the truth of this statement. Major clothing stores have their own Valentines Day designs. These designs flood the markets and the malls from December itself, and the young and the young at heart gladly lap them up. Even jewelry stores make a killing during Valentines Day. Most of them seize the opportunity to introduce new and novel designs of jewelry as this is the season that has proven to be the most lucrative one for them. Even hotels and restaurants witness a flurry of bookings during Valentines Day. But the biggest business opportunity, and especially one that is worth millions of dollars, belongs to the greeting cards, flowers and chocolate manufacturers.
No Valentines Day, no matter on how small a budget can do without a card to profess your love, a big bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. Together, these three items have their biggest and best sales during Valentines Day. The season itself is one of celebration and what better way to say it than through the killer combination of flowers, cards and chocolate? In the United States, sales directly attributed to Valentines Day total billion of dollars.

Sipadan Island

one of the world’s famous diving paradises, is located off the coast of East Malaysia. It rises about 600 meters from the seabed and is also strategically placed in the heart of the Indo-Pacific Ocean, home of the richest aquatic habitats in the entire world. The legendary diving heaven is said to house more than 3,000 species of marine life and recorded hundreds of coral species in its ecosystem.
The Best Diving Spots
As many as nine established dive spots can be found in Sipadan Island. These spots are named after the captivating encounters divers had such as the Hanging Garden, Barracuda point, White-tip Avenue, Coral Garden and Turtle Patch. The most popular diving spot is Barracuda point where divers normally come across a big school of barracudas swimming around the area.

The Best Time to Visit and Dive
Malaysia is blessed with a unique climate, boasting an all year-round sun ranging from 21ÚC to 32ÚC with the humidity of 85-95%. Rainy season can be expected between November and February with annual recorded rainfalls around 2,000mm to 2,500mm.

Limited Dives per day
Since Sipadan Island has been issued as a protected island by the Malaysian government in 2004 as an act to preserve the ecology and protect the wildlife, only 120 dives are allowed each day. The dives are distributed evenly between the 12 resorts in Mabul and Kapalai for their visitors.

Accommodation
Accommodations can be found on Mabul and Kapalai Island and divers will be ferried to the diving spots by resort operators daily. The resorts offers water bungalows and wooden duplex chalets, both equipped with air-conditioning, hot/cold shower, ceiling fans, private balcony with panoramic sea view, satellite TV, mini bar and fly screens in each unit.

Electricity Supply
The resorts provide a 24-hour a day power supply, using 3 pin rectangular plugs similar to British plugs.

Currency
All purchase and trades are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Money changers can be found at the airport and Semporna with VISA and MasterCard accepted in all resort. There are no ATM machines provided at the resort.

Other Attraction
4 hours by land transportation from Semporna to Sukau Rainforest Lodge, changing from blue sea and hot sun to rainforest green and fresh air. Hop on the Kinabatangan river cruise and enjoy watching some primate species hanging on treetops.

Advice on Relationships
Romantic partnerships are part and parcel of the human condition and are a necessary part of our daily experience. From time immemorial, people have sought varying advice on relationships: how to get them, how to keep them, and how to finish them. Seeking the council of friends and are some ways to gain a broader perspective. People may also take cues from the media, in the form of popular magazines, newspaper columns and television shows- that help them relate the experiences of others into their own lives.
Good friends can often be the first port of call when one is seeking sound advice on relationships. Friends will often lend a kind ear to your relationship troubles, and celebrate your love interests when things are going well. One downside to spilling out your heart to friends is that, though they care and sympathize with you, they often will remain loyal to your interests. If you profess that you no longer want anything to do with boyfriend X, label him a lout who treats you abominably, and then return to him the following day, friends are not normally as sympathetic to your woes as they once were. If you tend to do this chronically, friends may not want to hear about your on-again, off-again relationship altogether.
Asking family members advice on relationships may also be an emotional minefield, from which there may inevitably be casualties. Parents and siblings normally have your best interests at heart, and they can be even more fiercely loyal to you then friends. The saying “blood is thicker than water” has serious implications in this instance. They can be harsh judges of character, wishing to protect you from hurt. Confessing your fears about a partner may only serve to make them more cautious of your partner, and you can almost guarantee the next Sunday lunch together may probably be tense.
For women, popular magazines and love columns are an anonymous way of finding advice on relationships. Topics can range from dating to sex, friendship conflicts to familial acrimony. They usually appear in question and answer form, where one appointed “expert” responds to people’s problems. These columns are only helpful if you trust the respondent and the question asked is relevant to your life. If instead, you need a more immediate response and don’t wish to ask someone, relationship books often help to negotiate the complicated web of love. Psychologists or academic experts in the field may sometimes write these pieces, but the advice they give is not relevant to everyone.
Whether consciously or not, we often take advice on relationships through the media. Songs, films and television programs help to paint vivid pictures of relationship ideals and horrors. They may seem so idealized that they appear far removed from our day-to-day experiences, but they may be a balm for some, or an unrealistic model for others. Whichever the case may be, the media gives veiled advice on what we value and what we take for granted in our society.
If one is seeking help in solving a problem in their relationship, it doesn’t seem that there is a shortage of people willing to give advice. The most important thing to remember is that you are ultimately the sole bearer of responsibility for the decisions you make. It is therefore in your best interests to trust yourself above all. You are, in the end, the best suited of them all to give advice on your own relationship.

Who is shoppingholic..man or woman.??

Women are happy to meander through sprawling clothing and accessory collections or detour through the shoe department. They like to glide up glass escalators past a grand piano, or spray a perfume sample on themselves on their way to, maybe, making a purchase.

For men, shopping is a mission. They are out to buy a targeted item and flee the store as quickly as possible.

Women react more strongly than men to personal interaction with sales associates.Men are more likely to respond to more utilitarian aspects of the experience such as the availability of parking, whether the item they came for is in stock and the length of the checkout line.Women tend to be more invested in the shopping experience on many dimensions. On the other hand, after generations of relying on women to shop effectively for them, men's interest in shopping has atrophied.Shopping behavior mirrors gender differences throughout many aspects of life.Women think of shopping in an inter personal, human fashion and men treat it as more instrumental. It's a job to get done.

Stage of relationship...

Stage theories in general describe how we go through distinct stages as we develop. Thus, rather than gradually changing, we typically make sudden shifts to different plateaus of perception and behavior.

Relationships go through a series of stages as they mature. Levinger's model has ABCDE stages.

A = Acquaintance/attraction. We meet other people and feel an initial attraction, often based on physical beauty and similarity.

B = Build-up. We become increasingly interdependent as we reveal more and more about our private selves. We get irritated by one another, but the more pleasant aspects may well keep the relationship going.

C = Continuation/consolidation. Longer-term commitments are made, such as marriage. The partnership enters what may be a life-long stable relationship.

D = Deterioration. Many relationships decay, due to several factors. These include relative effort, rewards, barriers to exit (such as marriage and social obligation) and the availability of alternatives.

E = Ending. The relationship ends when partners agree to separate or one leaves.

Factors which increase the chance of making friends....

Similarity, how much we have in common with them like birds of a feather. Similar friends provide social validation for our beliefs, characteristics, etc. In practice, opposites seldom attract.Proximity, the propinquity effect leads us to like most people we see often.Reciprocity,we like people who like us and dislike those who dislike us.Beauty, physical attraction counts although how it is defined varies around the world.Competence,we like people who are competent but they should not be too perfect.

Marriage..wedding..

When two people meet and grow in love, the purpose of their meeting is to help each other in a certain area, on a certain level of their lives. How could you possibly promise something about a time that is decades away? How could you possibly be so sure that you and your partner will continue to grow together for the remainder of your lives and not grow apart? Why would you promise something you might not be able to fulfill? Two people meet for a particular reason, a reason related to emotional growth or lessons to be learned to foster that growth so that they can become all they are meant to be, become who they really are, as opposed to their false perceptions of self.Someone entered your life as a result of that relationship, you grew to be more of who you really are. When the relationship fulfilled its purpose, you no longer felt the need to remain together, so you went your separate ways. But in many cases, two people are meant to share the remainder of their lives together those are the couples who are still happily married decades later, and this is perfectly fine as well. So,it is not that marriage is right or wrong, good or bad.It is a wonderful thing to be with one person for as long as the relationship is of mutual benefit, to help each other grow, to explore life, to engage your minds in new areas.Marriage can be a wonderful thing, there is nothing intrinsically right or wrong with it.

5 facts about women's health

While life expectancy is higher for women than men in most countries, a number of health and social factors combine to create a lower quality of life for women. Unequal access to information, care and basic health practices further increases the health risks for women.

Discrimination on the basis of their sex leads to many health hazards for women, including physical and sexual violence, sexually-transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, malaria and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Tobacco use is a growing threat among young women, and mortality rates during pregnancy and childbirth remain high in developing countries.

This fact file highlights 10 key areas that have serious consequences for women's health.

Read more about women's health

1.Smoking rates among men tend to be 10 times higher than women. However, due to recent aggressive tobacco marketing campaigns aimed at women, tobacco use among younger females in developing countries is rising rapidly. Women generally have less success in quitting the habit, have more relapses than men, and nicotine replacement therapy may be less effective among women.

2.Of all adults living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa, 61% are women. In the Caribbean, the proportion of women living with the virus is 43%. Though lower, the numbers of women living with HIV in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe are also growing.

3.Between 15% and 71% of women around the world have suffered physical or sexual violence committed by an intimate male partner at some point in their lives. The abuse cuts across all social and economic backgrounds. Violence has serious health consequences for women, from injuries to unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, depression and chronic diseases.

4.Some studies show that up to 1 in 5 women reports being sexually abused before the age of 15.

5.Even though early marriage is on the decline, an estimated 100 million girls will marry before their 18th birthday over the next 10 years. This is one third of the adolescent girls in developing countries (excluding China). Young married girls often lack knowledge about sex and the risks of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS.

6.About 14 million adolescent girls become mothers every year. More than 90% of these very young mothers live in developing countries.

7.Every day, 1600 women and more than 10 000 newborns die from preventable complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Almost 99% of maternal and 90% of neonatal mortalities occur in the developing world.

8.Insecticide treated nets (ITNs) reduce malaria cases in pregnant women and their children. When women earn an income, they are more likely than men to buy the nets for their households. However, use of the nets is often linked to sleeping patterns that sometimes preclude actual use by women.

9.Insecticide treated nets (ITNs) reduce malaria cases in pregnant women and their children. When women earn an income, they are more likely than men to buy the nets for their households. However, use of the nets is often linked to sleeping patterns that sometimes preclude actual use by women.

10.Across the world and at all ages, women have a significantly higher risk of becoming visually impaired than men. Even so, women do not have equal access to health care to treat eye diseases often due to their inability to travel unaccompanied to health facilities, and cultural differences in the perceived value of surgery or treatment for women.
