Milk, Sunshine Each Day Keep the Doctor Away..

kids from newborns to teenagers is adviced to drink vitamins D twice a day because it may help prevent serious disease.

before this, its recommended to take 200 units per day for kids, but now the doctors said that children must take 400 units Vitamin D per day.

most milks that sells, have fortified with Vitamin D. that's why most kids have to drink milks.
but, there are several other foods including cereal, oily fish tuna, mackerel and sardines. but the best way is to get Vitamin D by the sunlight.

Today I wan to talk about a short story that I read just now.The title of the story is "Eagle In The Storm".

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm will breaks?Yes,when an eagle can fell that the storm will happen in certain time, the eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the wind to come.Whwn the storm hits,it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up above the storm. The eagle does not escape from the storm but use it to lift it higher.

From this story,we can learn that when the storm of life come upon us,we also can rise above them by setting our minds and our believe toward god.

God enable to give the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and dissappointment in our lives and we can handle it by soar above the storm.

Remember,it is not about the burdens of life that weigh us down, but it is about how we handle them.......Thank You......

Just now, I had read a news which is about pregnant teenager was raped by a man entrusted by her boyfriend to look after her.

The incident occurred in a house in Damansara on Saturday, where the girl had stayed with her boyfriend. It is learnt that the boyfriend had asked his friend if he could stay with the girl who was four months pregnant. The friend then raped the girl as soon as the boyfriend stepped out of the house.

The girl went back to her parents' house and after relating her ordeal, lodged a report at the police station here. Police picked up the boyfriend on Saturday and are now looking for his friend.

Assalamualikum to all muslims and best regards to all,

Recently i,ve read and article entitled "Deevali shopping spree". Yes, i know, Deepavali is just around the corner.
A station radio called THR Raaga will make an exciting offer to their choosen listeners. All the listeners got to do is to call in and answer a list of Deepavali-related questions and 10 callers will be chosen before Saturday for a shopping spree at Chennai Silk Palace, Klang. In addition to the RM100 given to each of them that day. Sounds fun to me!
Moreover, 100 orphans will also be there to pick out their own outfits. The shopping excursion will culminate with a scrumptious meal for all.

Well, for all those who celebrates Deepavali they must grab this offer. As a Malaysian , we have many celebrations especially Malaysia is known as multi-racial country. So, people, this upcoming Deepavali , don't just do nothing but spend our time to visit our Hindu's friends.

Assalamualaikum everyone!!!

when we talk about fantasy, what do you think in your mind?
Is it fairy, magical world, magic stick, unicorn or any other things??

As what I remembered, we are disposed to these kind of fantasy since our childhood time.
Begins with stories like Snow White, Cinderella until now we have The Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia and many other stories.

However, from my opinion I think we should be very carefully in choosing the right fantasy stories. We must take the moral values inside the stories but at the same time we shouldn't be very fanatic to any of them.

At our age, I believe that we are very sure on what we do including to choose this fantasy story. My advice is to take a bit more care about the child or in another word, help them choose the right story.

Hopefully, all of you can learn something about it.
That's for now!!! Farhana bt halim

Insomnia is a symptom of a sleeping disorder characterized by persistent difficult falling asleep or staying asleep despite the opportunity. People with insomnia might experience these symptoms such as difficulty falling asleep, awakening during sleep and having trouble getting back to sleep, awakening too early in the morning, feeling unrefreshed upon awakening and etc that associated with it. There are many steps you can take to break the cycle of poor sleep quality and daytime fatigue. Eliminate or limit caffeine, check all of your medications with doctor, keep established bedtimes and wake times, make excercise as a regular part of life and most important thing is don't stay in bed longer than 8 hoursand try avoid naps. Use the evening hours for settling down and avoid challenging activities in the hours before bedtime. Hi everyone.....

Today i want to share about the bermuda triangle...

The Bermuda Triangle, also called the Devil's Triangle, is an imaginary area that can be roughly outlined on a map by connecting Miami, Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the Bahamas, an island chain off the coast of the United States. Within that triangular area of the Atlantic Ocean have occurred a number of unexplained disappearances of boats and planes. Furthermore, readings on directional devices do not operate normally inside the triangle.

The term "Bermuda Triangle" was first used in an article written by Vincent H. Gaddis for Argosy magazine in 1964. He claimed that several ships and planes had disappeared without explanation in that area. The article was expanded and included in his book, Invisible Horizons: True Mysteries of the Sea (1965), where he described nine mysterious incidents and provided extensive detail. Many newspapers carried a story in December of 1967 about strange incidents in the Bermuda Triangle after a National Geographic Society news release brought attention to Gaddis's book. The Bermuda Triangle marked the height of the disaster area legend, but some of its sensationalized claims were quickly proved inaccurate.
I really admire about the bermuda triangle's technology...

Today i want to talk about the computer virus..I hope everyone know about the computer virus, but you realize that Some viruses can erase all the information from the place where it's stored on the computer's hard disk. But each virus is different. Some display strange messages on your computer screen; others make small changes in your computer programs.

Where do these viruses come from? They certainly don't float around in the air like some human viruses. Instead, like any other computer program, a human must create them.

Why do people create them? It's hard to say. Some people create these programs out of meanness to get even. While others create them just as a challenge.

Commercial and shareware programs have been created with the sole purpose of detecting and fixing suspect programs that might be viruses infected. These detection might help you to avoid computer virus.

so,I hope that we take precaution to avoid computer virus.

That all for now..

Today I want to share to everyone about the preparation to your study..this is a few step..

Be sure you know what is to be tested.
Ask questions of the lecture if there are any doubts. Once you know what will be covered on the test or quiz, then you can more successfully direct your studying efforts accordingly.

Organize your study aids.
Include class notes, past quizzes, handouts, and notes from chapter and outside reading assignments. Usually, it is useful to organize all study.

Start at least two weeks before the test to read through all of your notes. Try to obtain "the big picture," how all the material is going to come together, how major topics relate to one another, and how important each topic is to the lecture.
Look for clues that were given in class.
"This is a very important point".
"Put a big star by this".

Quiz yourself often.
If your answer feels shaky, then your understanding of the material is probably weak.

In practicing essay questions, check to see whether you left out major points?
Are all statements clearly understood?
Continue this process during the course of the next two weeks or longer.

I hope not to late to do something to yourself about your study.
No one perfect. But we must try..try and try...
Never give up..
And then you can success..
All the best!!!

I was reading about something and was thinking about how people say Islam being the world order and stuff, and what strikes me as interesting is just that; how people say it out loud, not do it in practice.

It is simple, work for what one believed in, and God willing, one will reap what one sows but when people say Islam will certainly come on top someday, do they really walk their talk?

I mean, we all know that that will inevitably happen, but what do we do?This is especially true for students, who has the most free time of all adults.Don't be so conceited and arrogant by saying that I have no time, I need to concentrate on my studies; these are, quite frankly, selfish and rather immature.

If you want to talk like that, fair enough, but please list down how many hours you waste on the internet doing stuff that doesn't really matter to the world, watching on youtube things that doesn't add anything to your knowledge, talking to friends about the latest trends and fashions, talking about gossips of this artist and that.

If you still don't want to care, then fine but don't give the excuse of not having enough time to do your part in society if you are doing things like that and don't study, it makes one looks rather weak.

And stop saying things like I don't care about politics, or I don't want to get involved in society because I'm bad at communicating with people; fact is, very few people are good with people. In fact, if you're bad at it, then it is precisely why you should do it.

It is funny that we say we study hard in the university for the sake of ALLAH and that we will contribute to His cause when we work, when in reality we sit in our own corner, doing enough to satisfy our whims, and do the bare minimum for Islam.

Funny, isn't it? When students say 'I want to be an Islamic doctor,' or 'I want to be an Islamic engineer,' when all they do is read books, pass exams, get a job, get a spouse, buy a big house, produce some kids, and die.Let's think together...

Hi everyone!!

Today I want to share about an interesting article about Eating for a Better Mood
Researchers who study the food-mood connection have found that certain vitamins and other compound in food can change brain chemistry. Studies shown that omega-3 fatty acids may be effective at combating depression. The best food sources are fatty fish such as wild salmon, sardines and herring.
Another food that you may take is sunflowers seeds, soybeans, beets and oranges that rich in folic acid. Multivitamins typically 400 micrograms of folic acid, which is generally thought to be enough to keep your body sufficiently stoked. Moreover, vitamin D is also important for our body in reducing the risk of osteoporosis, various caner and autoimmune diseases. A carbohydrate overhaul is another ways to help the blues. Cut back on sugar and other refined carbs. Sugar and carb will leads to short-lived, blod sugar high, followed by a tumble that may leave you irritable, tired and shaky. Lastly, when you eat has as a much of an impact on your mood as what you eat. If routinely go for long stretches between meals, rethink your schedule and plan ahead accordingly.

Assalammualaikum,

Today,I want to share to everyone about the food allergy..

The food allergy is the reaction triggered by the immune system. The number of the people who have a food allergy is growing.
This is little consolation if you've had a bad experience with a particular food and fear a recurrence.
If you have a reaction to a particular food, tell your doctor about it. Tests can help diagnose a food allergy so that you can take steps to avoid a repeat problem.

And now,I want to talk about how to prevent to get the worse food allergy.
The best way to prevent an allergic reaction is to know and avoid foods that cause signs and symptoms.
If you know you have a food allergy, follow these steps:
1.Know what you're eating and drinking. Be sure to read food labels carefully.
2.If you have already had a severe reaction, wear a medical alert bracelet or necklace that lets others know that you have a food allergy in case you have a reaction and you're unable to communicate.
3.Talk with your doctor about carrying emergency epinephrine (adrenaline).
4.If you have asthma, be sure to ask if sulfites have been added to foods when dining in restaurants. When shopping for foods, check labels for the terms "sodium bisulfite," "potassium bisulfite," "sodium sulfite," "sulfur dioxide" and "potassium metabisulfite."

Hope that we can take note about this food allergic

Hi everyone…

Today I had read about “ Babies Know Happy From Sad Song”. Weird right? That what recently research comes out about.

Babies as young as 5 months can differentiate an upbeat tune, such as "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, from a lineup of gloomy tunes.

Researchers displayed an emotionally-neutral face for the baby while sad music played. When the baby looked away from the face, the music stopped and a new sad song would start. When the happier "Ode to Joy" played, the babies stared at the face three to four seconds longer, suggesting they were interested in the shift. By 9 months old, babies can do the opposite, picking out the sorrowful sound of Beethoven's Seventh Symphony from a pack of happy pieces.

The finding is another example of how babies make sense of the world long before they can talk, said Brigham Young University psychology professor . This proves that for babies, first thing they understand is emotion, so for them the melody is message. Their study also showed that by nine months, babies are classify songs as happy or sad the same way that adults do.

So what makes a happy song? There are technical differences between the happy and sad songs the babies heard. The happy songs were all in major keys with fairly short phrases or motives that repeated and the tempo and melodic rhythms were faster than any of the sad selections, and the melodies had a general upwarddirection. Four of the sad songs were in minor keys and all had a slower beat and long melodic rhythms. For an infant to notice those differences is fascinating.
So this is how babies know happy from a sad song.

I found this article in :

I just want to share about want I feel now, there are people out there who just use religion as their easy way out, remember the movie "Kingdom Of Heaven"? The Christians in the movie keep on saying "God wants/wills it" to justify their intention kill the Muslims, a part of that, honor killing in Pakistan, killing innocent lives while chanting the takbir does not justify your act, Allah has mentioned that "do not let your hatred of a people prevent you from being just"(Al-Quran, 5:8), another thing that I would like to point out here is the differences between form and substance, people keep on saying that we need to have "Islamic" this and that, it's not that I against any of this move, but what we should emphasize at the first place is the substance or value of Islam, Islam is just too beautiful for the believers, in order for us to really understanding how beautiful Islam is to us, we should ask ourselves how strong is our faith, why do we pray 5 times a day? Is it just our daily routine? What is our purpose of life? Looking back at the history when Al-Quran being revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad the earlier years keep on emphasizing on to strengthen our faith, in other words, if we are strong in our faith, insyaallah we will be well attached to the Islamic values, it's all about our faith.. The substance of being a Muslim...

Hi everyone!!

Today I want to share something about gothic Lolita. Gothic Lolita or "GothLoli" (ゴスロリ, gosurori; sometimes alternatively "Loli-Goth") is a youth fashion among Japanese teenagers and young women. It emphasizes Victorian-style girl's clothing and often aims to imitate the look of Victorian porcelain dolls. This trend started around 1997-98 and now it became a well-established genre available in various boutiques and some major department store. This trends also being follow by Malaysia youth now days. There is even a completion that people had to wear Gothic Lolita style.

Gothic Lolita is usually combination of balck and white, often with white lace and typically decorated with ribbons and lace trims.Skirts are knee length and may have a crinoline or petticoat to add volume. Over-knee socks, black fishnet stockings and white or black are also common. Shoes or boots with high heels will complete the look.

Makeup is used sparingly and is seen more often with EGL styles than with other gothloli styles. Black eyeliner is typical. A pale complexion is preferred, so white foundation might be used. Red or black lipstick is seen but lighter makeup is the rule.

Gothic Lolita was influenced and popularized by the imagery of more feminine Visual Kei (or "visual rock") bands. Visual Kei is a Japanese form of rock music defined by bands featuring performers in elaborate costumes but whose musical style varies. Mana, the cross dressing former leader and guitarist of the Visual Kei band Malice Mizer is widely credited for having helped popularize Gothic Lolita. He coined the terms "Elegant Gothic Lolita" (EGL) and "Elegant Gothic Aristocrat" (EGA) to describe the style of his own fashion label Moi-même-Moitié, which was founded in 1999 and quickly established itself as one of the most coveted brands of the Gothic Lolita scene.
"Gothloli" as a fashion is not as strongly associated with a particular style of music or outside interests as goth, and individual followers of Gothloli fashion may listen to a wide variety of music including regular Japanese pop.

Due to the popularity of this cute style with many fans of Japanese animation and comics, characters dressed in the "Gothloli" style may be found in numerous anime and manga. Some of the most prominent are Paradise Kiss, Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, Rozen Maiden, Tsukuyomi - Moon Phase, Othello, Chobits, xxxHOLiC, and Pitaten

Today, I like to share about the power of mind. It is unlimited in potential to create something you desire. For students, of course they want to achieve their goals in studies and become the best student.

Actually, whatever your mind can imagine it can create. This means the mind can create wonderful things if you know how to use it and how to send the right messages to your subconscious. However, most people don't know how to do this.

A research that was carried out stated that doctors believe that 75% of all sickness and disease start in the mind. This means that 75% of people who are sick today are only sick because they did not know how to use their minds.

Scientists said that human only use 10% of mind. Therefore, can you imagine how far human can go if they use more than this 10% of mind?

Human are lucky because of this gift...the gift from The Almighty God. This is the only thing that make human speial than any creatures. So, use it for a good purpose and take care of it as good as you can...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_blindness

Color blindness, a color vision deficiency, is the inability to preceive differences betweeen some of the colors that others can distinguish. It is most often of genetic nature, but may also occur because of eye, nerve, or brain damage, or due to exposure to certain chemicals. There is generally no treatment to cure color defeciencies. However, certain types of tinted filters and contact lenses may help an individual to distinguish different colors better. Optomettrists can supply a singular red-tint cn tact lens to wear in the dominant eye. This may enable the wearer to pass color blindness tests for certain occupations. The effect of wearing such a device is akin to wearing red or blue 3D glasses and can take some getting used to as certain wavelengths can 'jump' out and be overly represented.

Yet another interesting article that I have read is "The Great Ketchup Mystery" written by Patrick L Barry and Dr Tony Phillips. When I was learning Phisics during SPM, I was taught about fluid properties. However, there is a new theory of certain fluid properties such as tomato ketchup which is shear thinning. After struggling to dislodge a meager few drops of the ketchup, an avalanche suddenly gushes out. With suspiciously perfect timing, the ketchup changes from a thick paste to a runny liquid. In my point of view, science can't explain everything. However, similar properties like paint are beneficial as the paint will stick to the surface that we desire. The formation of the sun may have been triggered by shockwaves from one or more nearbysupernovae. Sunlight is Earth's primary source of energy. This energy can be harnessed via a variety of natural and synthetic processes—photosynthesis by plants captures the energy of sunlight and converts it to chemical form (oxygen and reduced carbon compounds), while direct heating or electrical conversion by solar cells are used by solar power equipment to generate electricity or to do other useful work. The energy stored in petroleum and other fossil fuels was originally converted from sunlight by photosynthesis in the distant past.

assalamualaikum, & good morning for all blogger...

i just read an article "Body's Fuel" The main FUEL in our body is Carbohydrate which is stored in muscle and liver in the form of glycogen. If we eat before exercise, automatically we’ll have the extra oomph we need for an energetic and effective workout. The reason is, Carbohydrates will enters our bloodstream in the form of glucose before tucked in muscles and liver. If we have a fair amount of stored glycogen, our body will use the glucose as body’s source energy and spare the glycogen. It’s mean that we have two sources of fuels for body and we can last a lot longer. Something else we should know is that the muscles and liver can store so much glycogen. It’s important to limit our food each day. During night’s sleep, our body depletes as much as 80 percent of the glycogen stored in the liver. Eating before morning’s exercise will not only help depleting our glycogen level, it will also help settle the gastric juices that make our stomach growl and fatigue that can make it difficult to perform

From the article ‘Saving Butterflies’ which I found on the internet, I understand that the Monarch butterfly is facing a great danger of extinction since their number is depleting at an alarming rate when they migrate from Mexico throughout the U.S. each year. In my opinion, the article is extremely informative as it informs readers about the problem butterflies are facing and also how to help reduce the decreasing number of these butterflies. So, why not save butterflies by preserving the flora and their natural habitat? This article can be referred on the web page: www.sciencedaily.com

Hi,have a good day,
Today I have read about TITANIC.Many of us already know about it and I want to share something that was hotly debated for a number of years, that is tragic sinking of Titanic,by the comments and reports from survivors the ship broke into two sections, this become questions for the people as well as scientists and researchers the question was question was exactly what had occurred to sink the 'unsinkable' Titanic. While there was no doubt regarding the collision with a gigantic iceberg, many wondered how even such an impact could have caused enough damage to result in the rapid sinking of the huge ocean liner.
And recently the researchers have found the answer and proven the report of survivors that was the ship had not sustained one long gash upon impact with the iceberg, as many people has insisted upon for years. Instead, it was much more likely that the ship had sustained several, much smaller, wounds when the iceberg scraped the hull of the ship. Theories now indicate that the rivets intended to hold the hull plates together were unable to withstand the impact and popped upon contact. As a result, the plates buckled and separated. The ship immediately began to take on water and less than three hours later, sank to it final destination on the ocean floor.

What is High Blood Pressure?
Blood pressure is the force in the arteries when the heart beats and when the heart is at rest. It's measured in millimeters of mercury. High blood pressure is defined in an adult as a blood pressure greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg systolic pressure or greater than or equal to 9 mm Hg diastolic pressure.

high blood pressure directly increases the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke, especially when it's present with other risk factors. High blood pressure is the no.1 modifiable risk factor for stroke. It also contributes to heart attacks, heart failure, kidney failure and atherosclerosis. In some cases, it can cause blindness. The relationship of blood pressure levels to the risk of cardiovascular disease is continuous, consistent and independent of other risk factors. That means, the higher blood pressure, the greater your risk of heart attack, heart failure, stroke and kidney disease.

The skill of listening is very important for a student in particular because a large part of his day-to-day activities involves listening to lectures, instructions, discussions and so on. In order to listen effectively, you must be able to understand what you are listening to, break down the information you have obtained into manageable parts and identify specific information. You must also be able to analyse what you hear. In other words, you must be able to form opinions, draw conclusions. make inferences, predict outcomes and generally evaluate the information that you are listening to.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leukemia

Leukemia or leukaemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow and is characterized by an abnormal ploriferation of blood cells, usually white blood cells. Leukemia is a broad termcovering a spectrum od diseases. In turn, it is part of the even brosder of diseases called hematological neoplasms. Damege to the bone marrow, by way of displacing the normal bone marrow cells with higher numbers of immature white blood cells, results in a lack of blood platlets, which are important in the blood clooting process. This means peple with leukemia may become bruised, bleed excessively, or develope pinprick bleeds. White blood cell, which are involved in fighting pathogens, may be suppressed or fysfunctional. This could cause the patient's immune system to be unable to fight off a simple infectionor to start attacking other body cells. Finally, the red blood cell deficiency leads to anemia, which may cause dyspnea. All symptoms can be attributed to other diseases. Some other related symptoms are fever, chills, night sweats and other flu-like symptoms, weakness and fatigue, bone pain, joint pain, swollen tonsils, diarrhea and unitentional weight loss.

http://www.articles.com.my/Article/Learn-About-The-Different-Memory-Cards/58493

As we know, memory card is the solid state electronic data storage device in computers. Not only in computers, but it is found in almost all of the electronic computerized devices. These devices are mobile computers, digital cameras, music players, video game consoles and other electronics.

Let we continue our discussions on different memory cards and some of the speeds of these cards.

When they are found in some devices they offer power free storage, record ability, and small form factor. The cards that are in solid state use flash memory and those cards that are in the non solid state do not use flash memory

As a result, compact cards are considered as outdated. PDAs and cell phones are made with ultra small memory cards. It is observed that compact flash and smart media are more successful in digital cameras.

While buying one for your electronic gadget or buying an electronic device that has them, the speed factor is very essential. The speed actually determines the rate of speed of capturing a picture and the speed of transferring it into the computer. Thus the speed of your device depends on the speed of the cards.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking

Holla to all, today I would like to talk about smoking.Smoking is a practice where a substance, most commonly tobacco, is burned and the smoke tasted. This is primarily done as a form of drug use,as combustion releases the active substances in drugs such as nicotine and makes them available for absorption through the lungs. It can also be done as a part of rituals, to induce trances and spiritual enlightenment. The most common method of smoking today is through cigarettes, primarily industrially manufactured but also hand rolled from loose tobacco and rolling paper. Other forms, though not as common, are pipes, cigars, hookahs and bongs.
Smoking is one of the most common forms of recreational drug use. Tobacco smoking is today by far the most popular form of smoking and is practiced by over one billion people in the majority of all human societies. Less common drugs for smoking include cannabis and opium. Most drugs that are smoked are considered to be addictive. Some of the substances are classified as hard narcotics, like heroin and crack cocaine, but the use of these is very limited as they are often not commercially available.
The history of smoking can be dated to as early as 5000 BC, and has been recorded in many different cultures across the world. Early smoking evolved in association with religious ceremonies example as offerings to deities, in cleansing rituals or to allow shamans and priests to alter their minds for purposes of divination. After the European exploration and conquest of the Americas, the practice of smoking tobacco quickly spread to the rest of the world.

http://www.articles.com.my/Article/Internet--As-a-Tool-for-Teaching-Literature/10193

Last night I read about how to learn literature. Do you know how??
Using computer network is better than reading books

As we know, computer network especially the Internet, is a tool or facility for electronic communication between any two or more devices. Communication is the capability of living beings to exchange messages with other living beings by using some system.

Most common are eyes, ears, taste, smell and feeling. Communicative abilities are necessary for every day life. Without these abilities a living being is isolated from other people, on its own and can not regenerate and will die. Communication is therefore a basic tool to survive.

Communication is a primary tool for learning. The human being is not only able to remember its experiences, but also to combine and reuse its experiences to new insight, skills and knowledge. And these qualities will affect then the human behavior.
So, we need to use different way in order to learn something new.

What causes migraine headaches?

Migraine headaches seem to be caused in part by changes in the level of a body chemical called serotonin.
Serotonin plays many roles in the body, and it can have an effect on the blood vessels. When serotonin levels are high, blood vessels constrict (shrink). When serotonin levels fall, the blood vessels dilate (swell). This swelling can cause pain or other problems.

Many things can affect the level of serotonin in your body, including your level of blood sugar, certain foods and changes in your estrogen level if you're a woman.

You may also have a "premonition" several hours to a day before your headache starts. Premonitions are feelings you get that can signal a migraine is coming. These feelings can include intense energy, fatigue, food cravings and mood changes.

1)Possible symptoms of migraines
Intense throbbing or dull aching pain on one side of your head or both sides.

Treatment for period paint..

Self-help
Over the counter painkillers such as ibuprofen and paracetamol often help. There are also painkilling tablets available that contain the drug, hyoscine that may help prevent the muscle contractions..

Prescribed medicines
If these measures do not provide enough relief, or if period pains are interfering with daily life, then it’s best to see a doctor. A doctor can usually diagnose period pains easily and several treatment options may be discussed.

Anti-inflammatory drugs
These drugs are not suitable for everyone – for example, people with asthma or indigestion problems may not be able to take them.

Oral contraceptive pill
This may help to decrease period pains because the lining of the uterus remains thin and fewer prostaglandins build up. It is particularly useful if a woman also wants contraception.

Mirena intra-uterine system
Mirena is the brand name of a new type of intra-uterine contraceptive device (IUCD). It differs from other coils because it releases a form of the hormone progesterone) into the uterus. This prevents the thickening of the lining of the uterus

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetable

Is it a fruit or a vegetable?

The word "vegetable", in its modern usage, is strictly a culinary term, and is not a botanical or scientific term. The word "fruit" on the other hand can be a culinary term, or it can be a botanical term, and these two usages are quite different.

Botanically speaking, fruits are fleshy reproductive organs of plants, the ripened ovaries containing one or many seeds. Thus, many botanical fruits are not edible at all, and some are actually extremely poisonous.

In a culinary sense however, the word "fruit" is applied only to those botanical fruits or similar plant parts which are both edible and palatable, and which in addition are considered suitable to be a sweet or dessert food, such as strawberries, peaches, plums, etc.

In contrast to this, a number of edible botanical fruits, including the tomato, the eggplant, and the bell pepper, are not considered to be sweet or dessert foods, are not routinely used with sugar, but instead are almost always used as part of a savory dish, and are salted. This is the reason that they are labeled as "vegetables". Thus in a scientific context, a plant part may correctly be termed a "fruit", even though it is used in cooking or food preparation as a vegetable.

The question "The tomato: is it a fruit, or is it a vegetable?" found its way into the United States Supreme Court in 1893. The court ruled unanimously in Nix v. Hedden that a tomato is correctly identified as, and thus taxed as, a vegetable, for the purposes of the 1883 Tariff Act on imported produce. The court did acknowledge however that botanically speaking, a tomato is a fruit.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cholestrol

Cholesterol

Cholesterol is a lipid like, waxy alcohol found in the cell membranes and transported in the blood plasma of all animals. It is an essential component of mammalian cell membranes where it is required to establish proper membrane permeability and fluidity. Cholesterol is the principal sterol synthesized by animals while smaller quantities are synthesized in other eukaryotes such as plants and fungi. In contrast, cholesterol is almost completely absent among prokaryotes.[2] Cholesterol is classified as a sterol (a contraction of steroid and alcohol).

While minimum levels of cholesterol is essential for life, excess levels in the circulation are associated with atherosclerosis. Cholesterol is synthesized by virtually all the body cells but significant quantities can also be absorbed from the diet. The liver is the organ involved in the plasma cholesterol regulation because it can adjust both the synthesis and secretion of lipoprotein associated cholesterol and, more importantly, cholesterol terminal catabolism and fecal excretion through its conversion into bile acids.

The name cholesterol originates from the Greek chole- (bile) and stereos (solid), and the chemical suffix -ol for an alcohol, as researchers first identified cholesterol in solid form in gallstones by François Poulletier de la Salle in 1769. However, it is only in 1815 that chemist Eugène Chevreul named the compound "cholesterine".[3]

Aspects of health

Physical health

Physical fitness is good bodily health, and is the result of regular exercise, proper diet & nutrition, and proper rest for physical recovery.

A strong indicator of the health of localized population is their height, which generally increases with improved nutrition and health care. This is also influenced by the standard of living and quality of life. Genetics also plays a major role in people's height. The study of human growth, its regulators, and implications is known as Auxology.

Mental health

Mental health refers to an individual's emotional and psychological well-being. Merriam-Webster defines mental health as "A state of emotional and psychological well-being in which an individual is able to use his or her cognitive and emotional capabilities, function in society, and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life."

According to the World Health Organization, there is no single "official" definition of mental health. Cultural differences, subjective assessments, and competing professional theories all affect how "mental health" is defined. In general, most experts agree that "mental health" and "mental illness" are not opposites. In other words, the absence of a recognized mental disorder is not necessarily an indicator of sound mental health.

One way to think about mental health is by looking at how effectively and successfully a person functions. Feeling capable and competent; being able to handle normal levels of stress, maintain satisfying relationships, and lead an independent life; and being able to "bounce back," or recover from difficult situations, are all signs of mental health.

A combination of physical, emotional, social and most importantly mental well-being is necessary to achieve overall health.

tomato:modern uses and nutrition

Tomatoes are now eaten freely throughout the world, and their consumption is believed to benefit the heart among other things. They contain lycopene, one of the most powerful natural antioxidants, which, especially when tomatoes are cooked, has been found to help prevent prostate cancer.[7] However, other research contradicts this claim.[8] Tomato extract branded as Lycomato is now also being promoted for treatment of high blood pressure.[9] Lycopene has also been show to improve the skin's ability to protect against harmful UV rays.[10]

Though it is botanically a berry, a subset of fruit, the tomato is nutritionally categorized as a vegetable (see below). Since "vegetable" is not a botanical term, there is no contradiction in a plant part being a fruit botanically while still being considered a vegetable.

Tomatoes are used extensively in Mediterranean cuisine, especially Italian and Middle Eastern cuisines. The tomato is acidic; this acidity makes tomatoes especially easy to preserve in home canning whole, in pieces, as tomato sauce, or paste. Tomato juice is often canned and sold as a beverage; Clamato is a version of tomato juice which includes clam juice. Unripe green tomatoes can also be breaded and fried, used to make salsa, or pickled.

The town of Buñol, Spain, annually celebrates La Tomatina, a festival centered on an enormous tomato fight. Tomatoes are also a popular "non-lethal" throwing weapon in mass protests; and there was a common tradition of throwing rotten tomatoes at bad performers on a stage during the 19th century; today it is usually referenced as a mere metaphor. Embracing it for this protest connotation, the Dutch Socialist party adopted the tomato as their logo.

Known for its tomato growth and production, the Mexican state of Sinaloa takes the tomato as its symbol.[11]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger

tiger:subspecies

There are nine recent subspecies of tiger, three of which are extinct. Their historical range (severely diminished today) ran through Bangladesh, Siberia, Iran, Afghanistan, India, China, and southeast Asia, including some Indonesian islands. The surviving subspecies, in descending order of wild population, are:

The Bengal tiger or the Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) is found in parts of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Burma. It lives in varied habitats: grasslands, subtropical and tropical rainforests, scrub forests, wet and dry deciduous forests, and mangroves. Males in the wild usually weigh 205 to 227 kg (450–500 lb), while the average female will weigh about 141 kg.[17] However, the northern Indian and the Nepalese Bengal tigers are somewhat bulkier than those found in the south of the Indian Subcontinent, with males averaging around 236 kg (520 lb).[18] While conservationists already believed the population to be below 2,000,[19] the most recent audit by the Indian Government's National Tiger Conservation Authority has estimated the number at just 1,411 wild tigers (1165-1657 allowing for statistical error), a drop of 60% in the past decade.[20] Since 1972, there has been a massive wildlife conservation project, known as Project Tiger, to protect the Bengal tiger. The project is considered as one of the most successful wildlife conservation programs[citation needed], though at least one Tiger Reserve (Sariska Tiger Reserve) has lost its entire tiger population to poaching.[21]

Indochinese tigerThe Indochinese tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti), also called Corbett's tiger, is found in Cambodia, China, Laos, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. These tigers are smaller and darker than Bengal tigers: Males weigh from 150–190 kg (330–420 lb) while females are smaller at 110–140 kg (242–308 lb). Their preferred habitat is forests in mountainous or hilly regions. Estimates of the Indochinese tiger population vary between 1,200 to 1,800, with only several hundred left in the wild. The largest current population is in Malaysia, where illegal poaching is strictly controlled, but all existing populations are at extreme risk from habitat fragmentation and inbreeding. In Vietnam, almost three-quarters of the tigers killed provide stock for Chinese pharmacies.

Malayan tigerThe Malayan tiger (Panthera tigris malayensis), exclusively found in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula, was not considered a subspecies in its own right until 2004. The new classification came about after a study by Luo et al. from the Laboratory of Genomic Diversity Study,[22] part of the National Cancer Institute of the United States. Recent counts showed there are 600–800 tigers in the wild, making it the third largest tiger population, behind the Bengal tiger and the Indochinese tiger. The Malayan tiger is the smallest of the mainland tiger subspecies, and the second smallest living subspecies, with males averaging about 120 kg and females about 100 kg in weight. The Malayan tiger is a national icon in Malaysia, appearing on its coat of arms and in logos of Malaysian institutions, such as Maybank.

Sumatran tigerThe Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) is found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, and is critically endangered.[23] It is the smallest of all living tiger subspecies, with adult males weighing between 100–140 kg (220–308 lb) and females 75–110 kg (154–242 lb).[24] Their small size is an adaptation to the thick, dense forests of the island of Sumatra where they reside, as well as the smaller-sized prey. The wild population is estimated at between 400 and 500, seen chiefly in the island's national parks. Recent genetic testing has revealed the presence of unique genetic markers, indicating that it may develop into a separate species,[specify] if it does not go extinct.[25] This has led to suggestions that Sumatran tigers should have greater priority for conservation than any other subspecies. While habitat destruction is the main threat to existing tiger population (logging continues even in the supposedly protected national parks), 66 tigers were recorded as being shot and killed between 1998 and 2000, or nearly 20% of the total population.

Siberian TigerThe Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), also known as the Amur, Manchurian, Altaic, Korean or North China tiger, is confined to the Amur-Ussuri region of Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai in far eastern Siberia, where it is now protected. Considered the largest subspecies, with a head and body length of 190–220 cm (the tail of a tiger is 60–110 cm long) and an average weight of around 227 kg (500 lb) for males,[26] the Amur tiger is also noted for its thick coat, distinguished by a paler golden hue and fewer stripes. The heaviest wild Siberian tiger on record weighed in at 384 kg,[27] but according to Mazak these giants are not confirmed via reliable references.[14] Even so, a six-month old Siberian tiger can be as big as a fully grown leopard. The last two censuses (1996 and 2005) found 450–500 Amur tigers within their single, and more or less continuous, range making it one of the largest undivided tiger populations in the world.

South China tigerThe South China tiger (Panthera tigris amoyensis), also known as the Amoy or Xiamen tiger, is the most critically endangered subspecies of tiger and is listed as one of the 10 most endangered species in the world.[28][clarify] It will almost certainly become extinct.[citation needed] One of the smaller tiger subspecies, the length of the South China tiger ranges from 2.2–2.6 m (87–104 in) for both males and females. Males weigh between 127 and 177 kg (280–390 lb) while females weigh between 100 and 118 kg (220–260 lb). From 1983 to 2007, no South China tigers were sighted.[29] In 2007 a farmer spotted a tiger and handed in photographs to the authorities as proof.[30][29] In 1977, the Chinese government passed a law banning the killing of wild tigers, but this may have been too late to save the subspecies. There are currently 59 known captive South China tigers, all within China, but these are known to be descended from only six animals. Thus, the genetic diversity required to maintain the subspecies may no longer exist. Currently, there are breeding efforts to reintroduce these tigers to the wild by 2008.

orangutan:behaviour and language

Like the other great apes, orangutans are remarkably intelligent. Although tool use among chimpanzees was documented by Jane Goodall in the 1960s, it was not until the mid-1990s that one population of orangutans was found to use feeding tools regularly. A 2003 paper in the journal Science described the evidence for distinct orangutan cultures.[17]

According to recent research by the psychologist Robert Deaner and his colleagues, orangutans are the world's most intelligent animal other than humans, with higher learning and problem solving ability than chimpanzees, which were previously considered to have greater abilities. A study of orangutans by Carel van Schaik, a Dutch primatologist at Duke University, found them capable of tasks well beyond chimpanzees’ abilities — such as using leaves to make rain hats and leakproof roofs over their sleeping nests. He also found that, in some food-rich areas, the creatures had developed a complex culture in which adults would teach youngsters how to make tools and find food.[18]

A two-week old orangutanA two year study of orangutan symbolic capability was conducted from 1973-1975 by Gary L. Shapiro with Aazk, a juvenile female orangutan at the Fresno City Zoo (now Chaffee Zoo) in Fresno, California. The study employed the techniques of David Premack who used plastic tokens to teach the chimpanzee, Sarah, linguistic skills. Shapiro continued to examine the linguistic and learning abilities of ex-captive orangutans in Tanjung Puting National Park, in Indonesian Borneo, between 1978 and 1980. During that time, Shapiro instructed ex-captive orangutans in the acquisition and use of signs following the techniques of R. Allen and Beatrix Gardner who taught the chimpanzee, Washoe, in the late-1960s. In the only signing study ever conducted in a great ape's natural environment, Shapiro home-reared Princess, a juvenile female who learned nearly 40 signs (according to the criteria of sign acquisition used by Francine Patterson with Koko, the gorilla) and trained Rinnie, a free-ranging adult female orangutan who learned nearly 30 signs over a two year period. For his dissertation study, Shapiro examined the factors influencing sign learning by four juvenile orangutans over a 15-month period.[19]

The first orangutan language study program, directed by Dr. Francine Neago, was listed by Encyclopedia Britannica in 1988. The Orangutan language project at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., uses a computer system originally developed at UCLA by Neago in conjunction with IBM.[20] .

Orangutan "laughing"Zoo Atlanta has a touch screen computer where their two Sumatran Orangutans play games. Scientists hope that the data they collect from this will help researchers learn about socializing patterns, such as whether they mimic others or learn behavior from trial and error, and hope the data can point to new conservation strategies. [21]

Although orangutans are generally passive, aggression toward other orangutans is very common; they are solitary animals and can be fiercely territorial. Immature males will try to mate with any female, and may succeed in forcibly copulating with her if she is also immature and not strong enough to fend him off. Mature females easily fend off their immature suitors, preferring to mate with a mature male.

Orangutans have even shown laughter-like vocalizations in response to physical contact, such as wrestling, play chasing, or tickling.

japan:culture and recreation

Japanese culture has evolved greatly over the years, from the country's original Jōmon culture to its contemporary culture, which combines influences from Asia, Europe and North America. Traditional Japanese arts include crafts (ikebana, origami, ukiyo-e, dolls, lacquerware, pottery), performances (bunraku, dance, kabuki, noh, rakugo), traditions (games, tea ceremony, Budō, architecture, gardens, swords) and cuisine. The fusion of traditional woodblock printing and Western art led to the creation of manga, a typically Japanese comic book format that is now popular within and outside Japan.[102] Manga-influenced animation for television and film is called anime. Japanese-made video game consoles have prospered since the 1980s.[103]

Japanese music is eclectic, having borrowed instruments, scales and styles from neighboring cultures. Many instruments, such as the koto, were introduced in the ninth and tenth centuries. The accompanied recitative of the Noh drama dates from the fourteenth century and the popular folk music, with the guitar-like shamisen, from the sixteenth.[104] Western music, introduced in the late nineteenth century, now forms an integral part of the culture. Post-war Japan has been heavily influenced by American and European modern music, which has led to the evolution of popular band music called J-pop.[105]

Karaoke is the most widely practiced cultural activity. A November 1993 survey by the Cultural Affairs Agency found that more Japanese had sung karaoke that year than had participated in traditional cultural pursuits such as flower arranging or tea ceremony.[106]

A Japanese gardenThe earliest works of Japanese literature include two history books the Kojiki and the Nihon Shoki and the eighth century poetry book Man'yōshū, all written in Chinese characters.[107] In the early days of the Heian period, the system of transcription known as kana (Hiragana and Katakana) was created as phonograms. The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter is considered the oldest Japanese narrative.[108] An account of Heian court life is given by The Pillow Book written by Sei Shōnagon, while The Tale of Genji by Lady Murasaki is often described as the world's first novel. During the Edo period, literature became not so much the field of the samurai aristocracy as that of the chōnin, the ordinary people. Yomihon, for example, became popular and reveals this profound change in the readership and authorship.[108] The Meiji era saw the decline of traditional literary forms, during which Japanese literature integrated Western influences. Natsume Sōseki and Mori Ōgai were the first "modern" novelists of Japan, followed by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, Jun'ichirō Tanizaki, Yasunari Kawabata, Yukio Mishima and, more recently, Haruki Murakami. Japan has two Nobel Prize-winning authors — Yasunari Kawabata (1968) and Kenzaburo Oe (1994).[108]

Everyone has their own best friend right? Do you know what means by friendship? This time I’ll share about it with all of you.

Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more beings. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.

Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating the following on a consistent basis:
•the tendency to desire what is best for the other,
•sympathy and empathy,
•honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one's counterpart
•mutual understanding.

pizza history

Pizza is a baked pie of Italian origin consisting of a shallow bread-like crust covered with seasoned tomato sauce, cheese, and often other toppings such as sausage or olive. The word pizza is believed to be from an Old Italian word meaning "a point," which in turn became the Italian word "pizzicare," which means "to pinch" or "pluck."

The pizza could have been invented by the Phoenicians, the Greeks, Romans, or anyone who learned the secret of mixing flour with water and heating it on a hot stone.

In one of its many forms, pizza has been a basic part of the Italian diet since the Stone Age. This earliest form of pizza was a crude bread that was baked beneath the stones of the fire. After cooking, it was seasoned with a variety of different toppings and used instead of plates and utensils to sop up broth or gravies. It is said that the idea of using bread as a plate came from the Greeks who ate flat round bread (plankuntos) baked with an assortment of toppings. It was eaten by the working man and his family because it was a thrifty and convenient food

Alexander Graham Bell - Evolution of the Telegraph into the Telephone

The telegraph and telephone are both wire-based electrical systems, and Alexander Graham Bell's success with the telephone came as a direct result of his attempts to improve the telegraph.
When Bell began experimenting with electrical signals, the telegraph had been an established means of communication for some 30 years. Although a highly successful system, the telegraph, with its dot-and-dash Morse code, was basically limited to receiving and sending one message at a time. Bell's extensive knowledge of the nature of sound and his understanding of music enabled him to conjecture the possibility of transmitting multiple messages over the same wire at the same time. Although the idea of a multiple telegraph had been in existence for some time, Bell offered his own musical or harmonic approach as a possible practical solution. His "harmonic telegraph" was based on the principle that several notes could be sent simultaneously along the same wire if the notes or signals differed in pitch.

But could our picture of this monster be completely wrong?

Was T. rex in fact a slow lumbering creature, with hideously bad breath, that couldn't get anywhere close to catching a Triceratops. Was it really a scavenger that lived off the scraps left by others? Was T. rex, in fact, a wimp?

Featuring fabulous graphics and interviews with T. rex experts from around the world, Horizon looks at the new science that is challenging the legend of the dinosaur we love to hate.

do you like singing???
today i want to share about advantages of singing..Here are some practical uses in everyday lives.

1.Learning how to sing requires a lot of discipline. This kind of discipline can be applied to other aspects in life.

2. Singing induces pleasure.
No matter what song you sing, and whether or not they please other people, singing brings pleasure and relaxation.

3. Singing uplifts the spirit
Aside from being used in religious practices, singing can practically uplift the spirit and the mood as well.

4. Singing can be considered as a catharsis too. The whole human emotional spectrum can very well be expressed throuh singing.

5. Singing is good for respiration and blood circulation.
- Muscle tension is released because of the right amount of oxygen taken in by the body.
- Comparatively, more calories are burned just by breathing properly.

With all the advantages of singing mentioned above, you need to find a reason to start singing now..hehe..

http://www.emedicinehealth.com/lung_cancer/article_em.htm

i was read the articles about lung cancer.if you want to know cigarette smoking is the most important cause of lung cancer.

Cigarette smoke contains more than 4,000 chemicals, many of which have been identified as causing cancer.

A person who smokes more than one pack of cigarettes per day has a risk of developing lung cancer 20-25 times greater than someone who has never smoked.

Once a person quits smoking, his or her risk for lung cancer gradually decreases. About 15 years after quitting, the risk for lung cancer decreases to the level of someone who never smoked.

Cigar and pipe smoking increases the risk of lung cancer but not as much as smoking cigarettes.
The risk of developing lung cancer is related to the following factors:

the number of cigarettes smoked,

the age at which a person started smoking, and

how long a person has smoked (or had smoked before quitting).
so, you already know right?
beware and leave your cigarettes now to become a healty person.

Dark Chocolate Might Reduce Blood Pressure, Study Suggests

CHICAGO - A small study suggests that eating dark chocolate can lower your blood pressure - a delicious instance in which something that tastes good might, for a change, be good for you, too.

The short study would need to be confirmed in larger, longer-term ones before doctors could recommend treatment with chocolate, researchers say.

Yet if the results can be confirmed, "you can sin with perhaps a little less bad feeling," said Dr. Franz Messerli, a hypertension expert at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.

The German study appears in Wednesday's Journal of the American Medical Association.

Thirteen adults with untreated mild hypertension got to eat 3-ounce chocolate bars every day for two weeks. Half of the patients got white chocolate, half got dark chocolate.

Dark chocolate contains plant substances called polyphenols - ingredients scientists think are responsible for the heart-healthy attributes of red wine. Polyphenols also have been shown to lower blood pressure in animals.

Blood pressure remained pretty much unchanged in the group that ate white chocolate, which does not contain polyphenols. But after two weeks, systolic blood pressure - the top number - had dropped an average of five points in the dark-chocolate group. The lower, or diastolic, reading fell an average of almost two points.

The participants had an average blood pressure reading of about 153 over 84.

While their blood pressure did not fall enough to be considered in the desirable range - below 120 over 80 - the results show dark chocolate "might serve as a promising approach to reduce systolic blood pressure," said lead author Dr. Dirk Taubert of the University of Cologne.

Taubert said participants ate the chocolate bars instead of the sweets they usually consumed, and thus did not gain weight during the study.

The study received no industry funding - the researchers bought the chocolate themselves from the supermarket.

Tips to relieve morning sickness
The tips below may help reduce morning sickness:

Eat small meals throughout the day so that you're never too full or too hungry.
Avoid rich, spicy, greasy or fatty foods.
Avoid foods with smells that bother you or make you nauseous.
Eat more carbohydrates (plain baked potato, white rice or dry toast).
Eat bland foods when you feel nauseous (such as saltine crackers, gelatin desserts such as Jell-O, popsicles, chicken broths, ginger ale and pretzels).
The iron in prenatal vitamins can bother some women. If you think your morning sickness is related to your vitamins, talk with your doctor and he or she may change your vitamins.
Before getting out of bed in the morning, eat a few saltine crackers to calm your stomach.
Wearing "acupressure" wrist bands, which are sometimes used by passengers on boats to prevent sea sickness, may help some women who have morning sickness. You can buy the bands at drugstores, boating stores or travel agencies.
If these tips don't provide some relief from morning sickness, talk to your doctor. Keep in mind that morning sickness does not mean your baby is sick.

What is osteoporosis?

In osteoporosis, the inside of the bones becomes porous from a loss of calcium (see the picture below). This is called losing bone mass. Over time, this weakens the bones and makes them more likely to break.

Osteoporosis is much more common in women than in men. This is because women have less bone mass than men, tend to live longer and take in less calcium, and need the female hormone estrogen to keep their bones strong. If men live long enough, they are also at risk of getting osteoporosis later in life.

Once total bone mass has peaked—around age 35—all adults start to lose it. In women, the rate of bone loss speeds up after menopause, when estrogen levels fall. Since the ovaries make estrogen, faster bone loss may also occur if both ovaries are removed by surgery.

A BOX FULL OF KISSES

The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, “This is for you, Daddy.”

The man was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found out the box was empty. He yelled at her, stating, “Don’t you know, when you give someone a present, there is supposed to be something inside?” The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried, “Oh, Daddy, it’s not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They’re all for you, Daddy.”

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and begged for her forgiveness.

Only a short time later, an accident took the life of the child. It is also told that her father kept that gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

The short story is very touching, sad and also very sweet. It shows about how big the love of the little girl towards her dad evens she just 3-years-old. She know money was really tight at that moment therefore, instead of buying something, she shows her love towards her dad by giving something that priceless and even money can’t buy it. What makes my heart touched by this story is even her dad keep yelled and mad at the little girl but she still love her dad very much and her father appreciate her daughter gift very much. Even her daughter has passed away, but he kept the present for many years to remember her daughter.

Anemia:what cause low iron levels?

A number of things can cause you to be low in iron:

Lack of iron in the diet. This is mostly a problem for children and young women. Children who drink a lot of milk and don't eat iron-rich foods and young women who follow "fad" diets may be at risk for iron deficiency.

Growth spurts. Children under age 3 are growing so fast that their bodies may have a hard time keeping up with the amount of iron they need.

Pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or who are breast feeding need 2½ times as much iron as men. That's why pregnant women may be tested for anemia and why they need to eat more iron-rich foods or take a daily iron pill.

Blood loss. This is a common reason for iron deficiency anemia in adults. Heavy periods may cause anemia. Blood loss can also be caused by internal bleeding, usually in the digestive tract. A stomach ulcer, ulcerative colitis, cancer, or taking aspirin or similar medicine for a long time can cause bleeding in your stomach or intestines. That's why it's important to find the reason for a low iron level.

what cause sexual dysfunction?

Many things can cause problems in your sex life. Certain medicines (such as oral contraceptives and chemotherapy drugs), diseases (such as diabetes or high blood pressure), excessive alcohol use or vaginal infections can cause sexual problems. Depression, relationship problems or abuse (current or past abuse) can also cause sexual dysfunction.

You may have less sexual desire during pregnancy, right after childbirth or when you are breastfeeding. After menopause many women feel less sexual desire, have vaginal dryness or have pain during sex due to a decrease in estrogen (a hormone in the body).

The stresses of everyday life can also affect your ability to have sex. Being tired from a busy job or caring for young children may affect your sexual desire. You may also be bored by a long-standing sexual routine.

Have your doctor check your breasts.
Check your breasts yourself every month.
Doing all of these things gives you the best chance to find cancer as early as you can. Finding breast cancer early makes treatment much easier and more effective.

http://www.ehow.com/how_2918_read-dates-body.html

HOW TO READ YOUR DATE’S BODY LANGUAGE

Read this article for those who will go for date. There are positive body language and negative body language. These tips are important to know whether our date enjoying the date with us or our date is getting bored. Maybe our date says that they happy and enjoy with us, but we don’t know what they really think. This is where their body language will tell everything what they really think.

Positive Body Language
Step1
Notice whether your date exhibits good yet relaxed posture. A slouched date probably isn't having a good time. A date who's sitting up is being attentive.

Step2
Observe whether your date makes good eye contact. If your date keeps looking into your eyes, you've got it made.

Step3
Is your date leaning forward? Then you aren't a complete stranger anymore.

Step4
Be aware of any physical contact. Holding hands is a great sign.

Step5
Notice if your date has his or her palms up, which indicates a friendly warmth.

Step6
Know that your date is listening to you if he or she nods during conversation; this indicates your words are being heard.

Step7
Pay attention to whether your date is in sync with you and constantly reflecting your behaviour. Does she shift in her seat when you do? Does he pick up your speed and tone when he's speaking? Are you both breathing at the same rate? This occurs unconsciously and indicates a good rhythm between you - it's not just a copycat game.

Negative Body Language
Step1
Take note if your date's arms are crossed. This suggests there's a wall between the two of you.

Step2
Beware if your date is yawning. This is a bad sign - unless it's because your date was up all night thinking about you.

Step3
Clue in if your date is nodding too much during the conversation, it means you're talking to the same wall that was created by the crossed arms.

Step4
Is your date looking at everything but you? Be worried.

Step5
Notice if your date is keeping some distance between you. Personal space is one thing, but if your date is not standing next to you, that's a bad sign.

http://www.ehow.com/how_4641_know-someone-likes.html

HOW TO KNOW IF SOMEONE LIKES YOU ROMANTICALLY

For anyone wants to make sure whether the boy or girl likes you or not you can read this. Sometimes people that have crush with us do not tell that they like us directly. But it shows with his or her behaviour and body language. From there we know he or she likes us.

Behavior
Step1
Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question. Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?

Step2
Is this person "accidentally" running into you in places where he or she knows you will be, such as at your desk? At the Laundromat on Tuesdays? At your brother's birthday party?

Step3
Make a note if he or she mentions future plans to spend time with you: "That band is coming to town soon. We should really get tickets."

Step4
Spend time alone together. Canceling other plans in order to be with you longer, or not finding excuses to leave, could be a sign of interest.

Step5
Has he or she been calling for random reasons, such as, "I was wondering if you knew what that pizza place down the street is called," followed by, "Are you hungry?"

Step6
Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something - and it's probably not your stamp collection.

Step7
Observe how the person acts around your friends - he or she might be extra friendly to your closest pals for a reason.

Body Language
Step1
Sometimes seeing someone you have a crush on results in telltale physiological signs. Does the person in question blush when you look at him or her? His or her sympathetic nervous system is probably going into overdrive. Does he or she have trouble speaking, using jumbled words when talking to you?

Step2
See if the person in question mirrors your motions: When you lean back, he or she leans back; when you put your elbows on the table, he or she does the same.

Step3
Note whether this person sits or stands in the open position - that is, facing you with arms uncrossed. In addition, a woman tends to cross her legs in a man's direction.

Step4
Does he or she move closer to you and/or touch you subtly, such as with a pat of your hand or a touch of your cheek?

Step5
Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away, energetic speech coupled with open hands, and flashing palms.

Step6
Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

http://www.ehow.com/how_5466_handle-romantic-rejection.html

HOW TO HANDLE ROMANTIC REJECTION

Do you ever experience rejection from your beloved one? Do you ever been dump? Do you have hard time to forget about your sweetheart? If yes, you all can read this article. Yes, it’s hard to forget our beloved one especially if he or her dump us. We cannot accept that our relationship with he or her is over. But please, just forget him or her that already does not love us because there is much better person out there waiting for us. Please read this.

Step1
Yeah, it hurts to hear it. The truth is, you'll get over it.

Step2
Realize that this person, no matter how much you like him or her, is not going to reciprocate. You can't make a person love you. And you can drive yourself crazy trying.

Step3
You deserve a partner who respects you and cares about you. You want to feel secure and valuable, right? Remember this.

Step4
At first, you'll experience denial. "It's not really over," you tell yourself. Now tell yourself that it's not your fault. You could have been this or that - but you weren't. Don't dwell on your imagined shortcomings.

Step5
Don't try to get him or her back by making drastic improvements. It won't work. It's too late for that. If you do anything, do it for yourself. Now is the time to be selfish.

Step6
Go to your friends or family - those who accept you and will understand you’re hurt.

Step7
Take up a hobby or sport. Get your mind off your breakup. Stay busy - this is key.

Step8
You will get depressed. It's normal. You will get angry; this is normal too.

Step9
Decide that you wanted it to be over. Convince yourself of this.

Step10
You might try finding someone else - and some people will suggest this - but it's not very healthy and won't really be fair to the new person. Give yourself time to pull yourself together.

Step11
Don't get obsessive. If you feel that you can't get over it by yourself, get professional help. You don't want to turn into a stalker.

HOW TO GET RID OF A LOSER DATE-FOR HER

Step1
Be strategic - different losers require different techniques. Some take more time than others to get the hint.

Step2
Bore your date. Offer only the most mundane things about yourself. Look at your knees and mumble. Sigh a lot.

Step3
Stare blankly when he tells a joke. Laugh inappropriately.

Step4
Ignore your date. Bring a magazine to read ' the more unlikely, the better: "Highlights for Children," "Soldier of Fortune," "Rod & Custom." Hold your place on the page while you answer questions in monosyllables.

Step5
Call him by several different wrong names.

Step6
Show off some less desirable personal habits - grind your teeth, crack your knuckles, chew gum, sniffle and swallow loudly, take food from his plate, swap straws with him every fifth sip. Tap your nails on the table. Snicker for no reason.

Step7
Worry him. Say wistfully, "My finger is so terribly cold without a ring." Excuse yourself to call your psychiatrist or your mama.

Step8
Scare him. When he puts his hand on your arm or thigh, inhale sharply and start choking. Wave your hand around meaninglessly while he tries to figure out what's wrong. Do this every time he touches you.

Step9
Embarrass him. Ask the waiter if the restaurant has any live food. Dig through your purse; pull out random items and set them on the table. The more personal the better.

These tips are very funny and it can embarrass me. Maybe I don’t have the guts to try this entire steps get ride of a loser date. If I do that, maybe after this there are no guys that have courage to go out with me. But actually these are the most suitable ways to get ride of them.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR GREENS

Step1
Cut off the bottom portion of the veggies that you’re not going to eat. This will help loosen up the leaves.

Step2
Place the edible parts in the biggest pot that you own.

Step3
Put the pot in the sink and start running cold water over it. As the pot fills up swirl the greens around so the dirt can fall off.

Step4
Take out the greens and put them in a colander. Dump the water down the drain. See how dirty it is? All that dirt shows it’s fresh!

Step5
Repeat the rinsing step at least two more times, or until the water your put down the drain is clear.

Step6
Let the greens drain in the colander or put them in one of those salad spinners to get the excess moisture off before you use them or store them in the fridge for later.

Vegetables are important for our health. Therefore, we must make sure it really clean before we cook and eat it. This is to avoid from any food poisoning. Some people just clean the vegetables with just put under water therefore, the dirt on the veggie will not came out hundred percent.

http://www.ehow.com/how_2281794_purpose-life.html

HOW TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE IN LIVE

Step1
Communication is the first step to finding one's purpose! Friends and family can give an individual great insight. Sometimes people don't realize the impact they have on other people's lives. People could all ready be fulfilling their life's purpose and not even know it!

Step2
Self-reflection is a major step in finding purpose in life. It is important to analyze personal strengths and weaknesses. Purpose can be found by maximizing strengths and improving weaknesses. Accepting one's self is a key factor to personal success.

Step3
Make goals! Dreams are rarely accomplished if goals put in place. Make a goal book. It is always good to make a list of dreams, with steps to accomplish
them.

Step4
Volunteer! Volunteering can be a great way to achieve fulfilment. Making a difference in other people's lives brings joy and contentment.

Step5
Human beings should strive to have a career that they are passionate about. People spend a lot of their time working; some form of contentment should result.

Step6
Never be afraid! Take risks! Most rewards are associated with risk. Dreams are not accomplished if risks are not taken.

Step7
One should never stop learning. Learning never stops! Individuals who limit their learning capacity limit their full potential. One's purpose may change. Someone may be passionate about one thing earlier in life, and passionate about another thing later on in life.

It is not easy to find our own purpose in live. Even I still searching the reason I keep moving forward in this live. What I chase and what is my dream and also my future. When I think of all this stuffs it makes me realize that I still have no point to move forward. I just keep fooling around with my live. Never seem to be serious at all or care about my future. The only think I know is to study and get good result so I can graduate and my parents will not get mad at me. I should follow all these steps so I can find the truly purpose of my live. Everybody should have they own purpose to move forward.

http://www.ehow.com/how_2281217_clean-a-bedroom.html

HOW TO CLEAN A BEDROOM

Step1
Start off by having the staple cleaning utensils a broom, a couple of garbage bags and a vacuum. Now that you have what you'll need to start cleaning lets begin, we all know cleaning can be chaotic so first start off by analyzing your room, get a feel for where you want to move thing’s and what you don't want anymore and place everything in the middle of the room, that way you can manage and shuffle through everything with ease.

Step2
Go through what you don't want in the pile you've made and start bagging them, the pile should look a lot smaller by the minute, obviously cloths go in a hamper or where ever you store dirty/clean cloths and garbage in garbage bags, locate where the broom is and grab it, now start to sweep the small areas first and then the big areas in the pile you should still have, now were getting somewhere.

Step3
You may feel like your moving in a circle repeating the same steps but believe me, you getting somewhere. after sweeping up the areas mentioned you can now begin to pick up the big items from the pile and place that in the garbage bag, hopefully you own some type of cleansing product because now is the time for that, if you don't have these items you can always come back to this but here's what you'll need, Windex for windows if you have any, Clorox cleaning wipes or some type of cleaning wipes for the hard surfaces in your room such as dressers and last but not least a mop for hard floors but in most cases a vacuum for rugs.

Step4
After wiping down your hard surfaces it's time to get the vacuum out, take a look around your room and decide if you want to move any furniture because when vacuuming properly you will be moving things around so in this case as for help to avoid injury. Now when moving dressers around make sure you have a clue as to where your moving them, the same old setting sometimes can get boring so look into changing, change in this case can be good. After moving the heavy items like you bed and dressers around you can finally begin to vacuum your room, after vacuuming your can move everything back in place, now take a look around your room and be proud.

I agree with the writer of this article. It is not easy to clean up a bedroom. Believe me. Especially when you share a room with your younger sister that always sleep with books full on the bed. Where should I sleep? Bedroom should be tidy because that the place where we want to rest after the whole day we busy with a lot of stuffs. If the bedroom is not tidy we cannot feel comfortable to rest and sometimes it can cause more stressful. How I know that? It is because I always feel like that when my sister start to mess up the bedroom with her study books and homework. At last, I will sleep in front the television where I find more comfortable.

HOW TO BE A HOT GUY

I purposely find this article for those guys that want to be hot to the girls’ eyes. To be center of attraction and get any girls that you want even a girl that you admire the most. Actually it is not easy to be a hot guy. Even if you try all this steps if you do not have the looks the girls still will not look at you. That is from my opinion. For me hot guys is when he have good looking and hot body shape.

Step1
Confidence is important. Don’t have it, and then fake it. No one will know. Just rock it and soon you won’t have to fake it. Being cocky is not a substitute.

Step2
Work out and eat well. It’s a must. No more love handles. No more beer belly. Slacking off on your workouts just won’t cut it. Eating delicious healthy whole foods will make you look better instantly and feel great in the long term.

Step3
Become a Gentleman, if you aren’t already. A gentleman is said to make everyone in his company feels comfortable. Don’t be a hard sell. Relax and be at ease, your charming character will sell itself.

Step4
Be Passionate. If you’re passionate about something, do it as well as you can. Even if it is not in your career.

Step5
No compromises. No more ‘Mama’s Boy’. It's time to move out of your parents' house. Seriously. Keep forging your own path as a grown man. Lead the way, don’t follow the pack. Garner your success, you’ll feel like a million bucks.

Step6
Smile. You have a lot going for you. No more shy and modest guy, at this point, it’s boyish. Get your 'A Game' on, enjoy it and it'll show on your face. Adding a wink to that smile equals sparks.

HOW TO BE A MOM LESS STRESS RAISING KIDS

Step1
OTHER MOMS: Join a moms club or group to help deal with your stress of raising children. Other moms have had the same experiences that you are having and know better how to handle them once they have been through them. Moms groups at churches are particularly helpful.

Step2
KIDS: Talk with your children a lot; know what they are doing and where they are going to be at all times. This can help ease your mind. Build trust with your kids so that they will always try to tell you the truth. All kids will lie, but if you have an open communication line with your children, they will be less likely to lie to you.

Step3
GOD: Rely on God to keep your kids safe. He is omnipotent and omnipresent. He can always be with your child, even when you cannot. Psalms 91 is a scripture that you can pray over your children when they are going places without you. Pray this scripture over your entire family for God's protection and the covering of his feathers to guard and keep them. Just knowing that God is in control and will protect them provides a better peace of mind for you.

Being a mom is not an easy job. Moreover, become a mom that also working. She needs to divide all her times for work, kids, husband and housework. All this can make mother under stress. When we start marry, all the responsible will came to us and sometimes we do not have enough time to grab all of it. Mom will became more stressful when her child became a teenager. This is because, teenager usually give a lots of trouble to they parents especially to they mother and sometimes make their mother get headache just to think about what will happen to their children.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog

A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketches (sketchblog), videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting), which are part of a wider network of social media. Micro-blogging is another type of blogging, one which consists of blogs with very short posts. As of December 2007, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 112 million blogs. With the advent of video blogging, the word blog has taken on an even looser meaning — that of any bit of media wherein the subject expresses his opinion or simply talks about something.

www.pencilrevolution.com

How a pencil is made

It takes three stages to make a pencil, all of which are automated today. They are graphite processing, wood processing and pencil building. Here’s how:-
1.Graphite Processing
Chunks of mined graphite are ground into powder and processed into a powder and processed to remove impurities. The graphite powder is combined with purified clay and water and the resultant paste is extruded through tiny holes to make spaghetti-like strands of “lead”. After drying, the leads are baked in ovens at 900 degrees celcius for one hour and then soaked in an oil or wax bath to add smoothness. For coloured pencils the clay is combined with pigments istead of graphite.
2. Wood Processing
“Pencil squares” are formed from felled trees, then seasoned for several months until completely dry. The squares are then cut into slats that are treated with wax and stained to create uniformity, and several parallel semi-circular grooves are cut into one side of each slat, then filled with an adhesive.
3.Pencil Building
The lead strands are laid into the grooves and covered by the complementary slat. This pencil “sandwich” is then pressed and heat is applied. Once dry, the sandwiches are sliced, forming individual pencils. The pencil are then coated in paint and lacquer. An eraser can be attached by metal collar or “ferrule”

The article that I have read about is stretch marks, written by Ethan Cole have given me much information about how and when stretch marks occur. It is made clear that stretch marks will appear especially during pregnancy, puberty or a sudden weight gain which is not related to pregnancy. These marks appear because the skin could not accommodate the new size fast enough and thus, causing the skin to expand to the uttermost point. As a whole, I really enjoy reading this article because I can finally understand the reason of occurrence of stretch marks and the ways to lessen the severity of it which is by applying lotions or creams.
