Do Killer Microbes Cause Breast Cancer?

Despite a century of cancer research the cause of breast cancer remains unknown. Age, diet, stress, hormone factors, genetic predisposition, and cancer viruses are all suspected as possible causative factors, but totally ignored are infectious bacteria which have been implicated in breast cancer and other forms of cancer.

A century ago when major diseases like tuberculosis, leprosy, and syphilis were discovered to be bacterial (not viral) infections, many physicians suspected bacteria might also cause cancer. At the close of the nineteenth century (when the science of microbiology was in its infancy), many different microbes were cultured from cancer. Variously called "cancer coccidia," "sporozoons" and "cancer parasites," a few of these microbes produced cancer tumours when injected into animals. But many did not, and most doctors finally assessed these cancer germs as laboratory "contaminants" or as "secondary invader microbes" that infect the tissue after the cancer is already formed.

The idea of a cancer parasite was finally dismissed in 1919 by noted American pathologist James Ewing. In his popular textbook, Neoplastic Diseases, he declared: "Few competent observers consider it (the parasitic theory) as a possible explanation in cancer." In Ewing's opinion, cancer did not act like an infection. Therefore, he concluded that microbes couldn't possibly cause it. He wrote: "The general facts of the genesis of tumours are strongly against the possibility of a parasitic origin."1 Subsequently, few doctors dared to contradict Ewing by investigating bacteria in cancer.

Nevertheless, during the 1920s a few persistent physicians like pathologist John Nuzum of the University of Illinois College of Medicine; surgeon Michael Scott from Butte, Montana; and obstetrician James Young of Edinburgh, Scotland, continued to publish research showing that bacteria were implicated in breast cancer and other forms of cancer.

In Malaysia, the term “social contract” has a unique meaning. It refers to the painstaking compromises between the ethnic Malays, Chinese and Indians on their mutual rights and privileges and their bargains with the Malay Rulers and the British for the creation of a democratic, monarchial, federal and non-theocratic system of government.

As is the fate of all social bargains, once the original authors pass from the scene, the descendants do not always appreciate the rationale behind the original compromises.

The government of the day has to walk the tight rope between the need to honour the pacts of the past and to accommodate new demands and expectations.

The Malaysian Constitution is undergoing such a process of readjustment and reinterpretation. There is a lively and inconclusive debate about what the document of destiny actually ordained and how far the imperatives of the Constitution should be modified to meet the new aspirations of the electorate.

The Malay Rulers caution against such thinking. Physics teaches us that any movement causes friction and friction produces heat. There is very little doubt that any significant re-drawing of the contours of pre-Merdeka compromises is likely to open up a Pandora’s box of problems that may cause unnecessary friction and waste.

Exercising the brain.

IT MADE its debut about 25 years ago - the brainchild of Dr Paul E. Dennison, a reading expert, and his wife, Gail, an artist and movement educator. Together they developed a movement-based learning method and called it Brain Gym.

Today Brain Gym is taught in more than 80 countries. Its aim is to improve performance through a series of co-ordinated movements which will allow the individual to tap into his potential with ease.

Although Brain Gym was not developed specifically for those with special needs, practitioners all over the world have been using the movements with children and adults with learning difficulties.

Twenty-six movements, do them everyday and it will improve self-esteem, memory, concentration, accuracy, organisation skills and physical coordination, among others, all of which will result in more efficient performance.

Brain Gym is not a cure. It is just a tool that can be used to enhance an impaired neurological function. And the tool is fabulously simple. Move and feel the movements. The sensory system needs to be activated for learning to happen.

Brain Gym represents an invitation to play which then serves to prepare the mind and heart for learning to take place without fear of failure.

Perhaps it is true about the placebo effect but even if it is, the fact that the mind and body are relaxed will ensure that learning can take place more effectively.

Corruption is like a fungus, with roots spreading far and wide and easily spread like spores from this simple plant. It takes only a slight breeze to spread the spores far and wide and have new fungi sprouting in a matter of hours at times given the ideal conditions for growth and its ability to perpetuate even in unfertile soil is characteristic of the specie. If you want to see how fast fungi spreads, leave your break in the open for two to three days!

It does not respect even the holiest of men/women and should they let down their guard for a moment, it will quickly take root and spread all over. Very soon, the best of people will turn into the corrupt monster – a creature dedicated to enriching oneself at the expense of others!

Corruption is an act that involves two parties – the giver and the receiver. Those who give are as guilty as those who receive! To stop corruption, the giving as well as the asking and taking must stop.

To rid corruption, we need to train the new generations to be honest! Education on honest living based on moral and religious principles will help.

The article are from somewhere in thestar.com.my and the harakahdaily.net, its the highlight.

A little bit about the Permatang Pauh by-election

The center of attention once again centered in Permatang Pauh where the government part and the other opposition party against with our former deputy prime minister.

The by-election is not just like any other by-election in our country. It’s probably the start of reformation in our nation. This is because it’s probably the starting point of our charmed leader of that could abolish the injustice in our nation.

The highlight start with the couple of reporter got beaten, from unlikely sources stated that they been attacked by a group of people from the some party, but the party denied those allegation, that they had been foul-play. Nevertheless, it has not stopped the level of confident to the party.

But even more interesting, the oil price had been reduced and the public holiday had been announce in that state, because the by-election is due to working day for some particular reason.

Conclusion, even though there’s occurring of this foul-play, but still the people had strong confident to the representative.

Chelsea VS Malaysia 2-0, what do you think??

Chelsea's manager,Luiz Felipe Scolari said it was the pitch condition that made it hard for his players to play. If the stadium was to be an international stadium, maybe a really big one and with high quality standards in parallel with UEFA standards, Chelsea could have thumped Malaysia well.

Also, Luiz Felipe Scolari did not really consider this an important game and just tried new tactics. Not only him, but the players too.

I think, it could have been at least 2-1. Malaysia was poor in their passes and did not take their chances. There was a time this Malaysian striker could have lobbed the ball over Cech but instead tried to shoot below his body. Hardi Jaafar played quite selfishly, trying to shoot outside the box as if he was a pro. I think Hardi Jaafar was the best Malaysian player because he knew how to pass and make a good strike. He also won several dribbles and tussles against the larger and better opponents, such as Ashley Cole.

Do u guys realise Didier and Ballack did not play? When both of this players play, what will happen to Malaysia's team?

Perodua Myvi has been launch in May 2005. The car has become the most popular car since that. The production company produce 8800 units every month to fit the demand.

Many Malaysian buy this car as their second car as well as their first car. Consider the fuel price nowadays, this type of car consuming quite efficient consumption of petrol.

Based on the highly demand, Perodua has launch the new facelift Myvi last week. Yes, like what is written in this article, the new Myvi has a masculine look. More accesories for entertainment and all kind of stuffs to suit with the price.

But personally, I like how the old Myvi look from the exterior. Not trying to be as Jeremy Clarkson from Topgear show, maybe it is just because I have my own taste about car...hmmm

"Smoking causes premature death in women"

Women who smoke are likely to suffer a heart attack nearly 15 years earlier than those who don’t, according to a new research.

The data, released at the European Society of Cardiology congress in Munich, also revealed smokers can expect to have a heart attack on average around the age of 66 — although it can occur at a much younger age for some women. But a non-smoking woman could celebrate her 80th birthday before succumbing to an attack. In contrast, men who smoke have a heart attack on average just six years earlier than male non-smokers.

The study shows the stark difference in the health of women in later life when heart disease becomes increasingly important as a cause of lost years through death and disability.

Smoking is the biggest cause of premature death from heart disease, claiming the lives of at least 50,000 women a year.
so,say no to SMOKING!!;D

Here i want to briefly talk about my favorite catoon show, spongebob squarepants.

SpongeBob SquarePants is an Emmy-nominated American animated television series and media franchise. It is currently one of Nickelodeon's and Nicktoons most watched show. In 2007, it was named by TIME as one of the greatest television shows of all time.[1] Although its original network is Nickelodeon, SpongeBob is now broadcast across the world. It was created by artist, animator, and former marine biologist, Stephen Hillenburg, and is produced through his production company, United Plankton Pictures, Inc.

The series is set in the Pacific Ocean, in the fictional city of Bikini Bottom and on the surrounding lagoon floor. The pilot episode first aired in the United States on Nickelodeon after the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on May 1, 1999. The "official" series premiere followed on July 17, 1999 with the second episode, "Bubblestand/Ripped Pants."

The series star is a character who is a sea sponge, but in shape and color his body more closely resembles a kitchen sponge.

SpongeBob SquarePants is a sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea, while his octopus neighbor, ironically named Squidward Tentacles, lives in a moai. SpongeBob's other neighbor and best friend is a pink starfish named Patrick Star, who lives under a rock. SpongeBob and Patrick live on either side of Squidward Tentacles, much to Squidward's despair. Squidward is constantly annoyed by SpongeBob and Patrick's antics.

How To Improve Speaking Skills In An New Language.....

To most people, speaking is the most difficult part when learning a foreign language. Although everyone knows that the best way to speak a language fluently is to practice speaking as much as possible, not many people can do this.

Firstly, learners often hesitate to speak because they are afraid of pronouncing the words wrongly. In fact it is very difficult to correct a mistake in pronunciation later if you don't pay attention to it from the start. The advice is that you should try to pronounce the words right from the very first lessons. Be patient when pronouncing new words.

Next, you can find short stories in the language you are learning, in books or on the internet and read them aloud at home. In this way you can roughly judge how good your pronunciation is and gain more confidence when speaking to others later.

Lastly,of course the best way to improve your speaking skills is to talk with a native speaker. That also means the best language class is the one which has a native speaker as the teacher. The foreign teacher usually uses only the language being learnt in the class and refuses to speak in any other. Therefore you can become more familiar with the language you are studying because you are forced to speak in it.

Hi...this time im not talking about the coming multipurpose vehicle from Proton that was said to be use a 1.6 Campro engine, but i would like to talk about novels..

Novels..love stories, science fiction and all types of novel in the market.

Reading a novel?..Sometimes I feel that I like to read a novel but sometimes I feel that I haven't got a time to do that. Novel takes a lot of time to finish up reading the whole book. Plus, the time you and the story combined together become a very perfect character.

I read a lot of novel when my secondary age. The investigation stories from Hadi's series as example, has brought me into the story. I enjoy reading very much. Since my level of age now, what type of novel that I should read??.. Love??.. I think that is wasting time, maybe that kind of story suitable for the females..

Here another my favourite cartoon show, Oggy and The Cockroaches.

Oggy and the Cockroaches (also known as Oggy et les Cafards in French) is a French animated series produced by Gaumont Film Company in 1998, creator of the popular series Space Goofs.

The show centers on Oggy, a content and lazy, albeit very tender fat blue cat, who would usually spend his days watching TV and cooking - if it wasn't for the three pesky roaches in the household: Joey, Dee Dee and Marky (named after members of the punk group Ramones). The trio seems to enjoy generally making Oggy's life miserable, which involves mischief ranging from (in most cases) plundering his fridge to such awkward things like hijacking the train Oggy just boarded.

The cartoon itself relies on slapstick humour, much like its "ancestor", Tom and Jerry, only amplifying the level of extremities up a notch; while "traditional" slapstick cartoon characters prefer dropping anvils and pianos on each other, this show sometimes uses even buses or submarines. Despite these however, most gags are easily accessible and enjoyable for younger viewers.

Do you know about World War 2??

World War II, or the Second World War, was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations, including all of the great powers, organized into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. The war involved the mobilization of over 100 million military personnel, making it the most widespread war in history. In a state of "total war", the major participants placed their complete economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities at the service of the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Over 70 million people, the majority of them civilians, were killed, making it the deadliest conflict in human history.

The starting date of the war is generally held to be September 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by the United Kingdom, France and the British Dominions. However, as a result of other events, many belligerents entered the war before or after this date, during a period which spanned from 1937 to 1941. Amongst these main events are the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, the start of Operation Barbarossa and the attack on Pearl Harbor and British and Netherlands colonies in South East Asia.

The Soviet Union and the United States emerged from the war as the world's leading superpowers. This set the stage for the Cold War, which lasted for the next 45 years. The United Nations was formed in the hope of preventing another such conflict. The self determination spawned by the war accelerated decolonization movements in Asia and Africa, while Western Europe itself began moving toward integration.
